Oh, I don't subscribe.....
Coffee Break #57
they are a very sexist / raciest couple anyway.. not for everyone
When I was still teaching, I had a principal who was a tyrant....truly....had everyone in tears for years until he decided, at the end, to lock himself in his office....the kids thought the custodian was the principal....anyway, he was talking about some radio program to another teacher, & I asked about it....he said it was not for me to listen to! Here I was, 40's, married, a mother......guess he thought I shocked easily!
they really do make fun of EVERYTHING and a lot of inappropriate topics
Weren't they the ones that got fired for sending in a couple to "couple" in a church?
yes
not just a church.. St. Patrick's
A Cathedral, ... they should have been prosecuted and sent to jail, I'm sure the resident prison population would have welcomed them with 'open arms'. he he he...
First poison ivy of the season!
Oh, no!!!!!!!!

I am so excited, my son has been living in NYC for the past 2 years, was here over the weekend and had a job interview on Friday. Just texted me that he received the offer today! I'm still waiting for details, but looks like he'll be back home in a few weeks.
And his GF Lindsey told us Saturday that even though she doesn't have a ring yet, they set a wedding date for May 2012! She also said a baby would follow soon after...
They will both be 25 in a couple weeks and months.
Lots of good news.
Wow!! Congrats Jan and Debi!! We'll be expecting baby, wedding, baby pics :)
Wow Deb! How nice for you...I can almost picture you doing a happy dance and popping a bottle of champange!! :)
Definitely doing a happy dance, didn't realize how much I missed him til I started thinking about him being back home!
aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww.. so nice
That's wonderful news, Debi...I was soooo glad when Garret couldn't find a permanent job in Boston....he found one back in CT, moved back home, & met the girl he married....worked out just fine!
happy for you deb.
jan it must be busy for you on holidays? :) congrats
Yay for Debi!!! Great news.
Heehee - Holidays. Unfortunately we don't usually get everyone at the same time since they are spread out over the country. More places for us to visit though. Yippee!
Nice to hear good news! Congrats Debi!
I just saw a crow that was bigger than Hope.. no pic of course.. amazing how large they get
Very intelligent birds, nest raiders as well.
yeah!!! I hung a sock of thistle seed out 3 weeks ago.. the gold finches finally found it... 5 of them out there!!!
Poor little guy, that's the way the feathers get when they've been burned by the cold wind. - amazing how they can survive those windchills in Maine.
(funny about the Goldfinches, lol)
it is amazing how tough they are
Love the purple finch! Don't get many here, usually house finches & goldfinches....I have very large crows, & there are ravens down at the dam and in our state park by our high school....never thought I would tell them apart, but when I heard one one call, it was easy....the ravens sound like they have laryngitis....
I just looked it up, it's def. not a rosefinch...they are in Alaska. So I do believe it is in fact a puple-finch.
