Shirley - Smiled REAL big at Belle's comment above .. .yeah... all Belle was thinking about was "get that cat " LOL.... LK - they actually glued it... So glad... think they thought stitches would put a burden on it...

Any way DH has been SO sweet... he's at wallyworld then pick up Band Jambalaya....then we'll head to the show.

Promise I won't milk my injury for all it's worth. Okay... I don't promise ! Snicker snicker.....

Betty - I will 'treat' myself to a hibiscus if I see one I like... The local hibiscus club was at the show last year... Shirley - wish you were all with me... :o) I'll take pics if I see anything you all might like....

Agree with Crissy about the chiropractor... I see mine for Sinus probs and do beleive it helps...

Crissy - I don't remember much on Face off but absolutely had to turn off the tv which is rare for me... couldn't watch it...

Hugs all... I'll pop back tonight...

Oh Mary I love hibiscus haven't had one for a while. It is 42* outside but sunny and not much wind. I've been out and taken care of the Chickies and bird feeders moved some potted plants out of the garage and into the sun. I have a pile of leaf much that needs raking. Talk later.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Hanging in....just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive and kicking.

I'm back, not only bak but have had my bath, into jammies, laying here putting pre sure th my head!

Quite the morning, got Lenny's track pants done and suzanne's pillow done just in time..Darlene arrived an hour earlier to sit and chat and then Cathy dropped in.
Lenny dropped back on his way from town, can't get better service than that..nearly 1 hour pick up.

Got to Gayle's for 10 and really enjoyed the few hours we spent making a few jewelry pieces..easy technique. Involves dychronic glass which is not cheat, (some of you have a few little touches on your pieces) metalic looking ..Anyway need thin lined permanent marker and etching cream...Darlene decided to do
a pine tree and after my sister said she saw pendants with dog paws on them I decided to do her set for April 1st, her birthday.

Well the dychronic glass I picked has red and just would not etch as it was suppose to do...this after I put paws on a pendant and earrings..I'll fire it anyway, who knows how it will turn out...got to do a pendant so I also did pine trees but she didn't have silver glass..I was reminded that this was a learning experience and could play later.
Gayle and her hubby were having open house at the sugar shack and will also have it tomorrow, wanted me to pick up the boys and bring them for toffee Popsicles..maybe to or row if I'm feeling up to it!

On our way home signs were up advertising church luncheon so I took Darlene. $6.00 paid for a bowl of soup, hoy rolls, coffee/tea and piece of cake..coolant go wrong..only thing wrong is I choked on soup..how embarrassing!

I'm now toasty on the chesterfield, really want to go fir our pieces but might rest first..

Barb, when you are finished with your dust bunnies come feed mine...windows and cobwebs need done also!

Crissy, it's amazing what technology is now being used on thes telephones...so many aps to play with..learning experience for sure..

Off to close my eyes!

So you are enjoying a quiet day at home Laura, that's nice...we'lllet Holly do hers, find out all the not to's then we'll start ours!

Verona, ON

Sunny but very cold here.
I too was up at dawn and feel the need for a nap shortly.
Mary - listen up sweetie. GET YOUR TETNUS SHOT ASAP!!! Your mother as a nurse would have kicked you in the behind for not getting it. I am super anxious about it as my sweet father contracted Lock Jaw and I want no one to go through that suffering. Poor Belle!!
Sure don't feel like doing much today - had to resort to the heavy duty meds for my headachesa in the night and they slow me down. Will content myself by looking through Breck's and Vesey's catalogue, looking at some reblooming Day Lilies to add this year.
Be sure to do something nice for yourself today ladies!

Hi peeps - Movie Night was fine - only 4 came (besides 3 to set up) so total of 7.
Invictus was a great movie
Finished folding 1/2 of the Newsletters, and friend folded the rest.
Took them to church for people to deliver.
Got my hair cut (now I also got "colour in a box" to cover the grey!), then went to Dollar Store and a Liquidation Centre for shopping (some of it's for work, which I get reimbursed for).
All in all, a very productive day, now I'm going to rest and also work on a quilt block for Sisters March Quilt Block on "other room".

Victoria Harbour, ON

Quiet this afternoon, I think all of us wer up so early that we lost energy and are ready for bed!

It's Earth Day, are you all participating tonight? Will if I stay awake long enough.
Susan, having so few in attendance must be discouraging and yet you plug along.

Sorry Dianne that you've been in so much pain, am glad thou that there are meds that help ease your pain..imagine we are having the same bitter cold weather!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

yes, we plug along..... been doing this for 1 1/2 years now.

Earth Day - how environmentally friendly is it? It makes us think, but if you use candles, or your BBQ - you're emitting carbon into the atmosphere.
Not sure 1 hour a year is enough.
So to cut down on environmental impact, do you use your furnace, fireplace (wood or engineered logs), propane or electric heater?!?! I'm curious.

Ames, NE(Zone 5b)

Well it is a quiet day here. I worked a little bit and rested a little bit. I have Tubby tucked in bed and soon I will be going down to bed myself. It's a dreary day out and the snow has finally stopped. It collected earlier today but then has melted. There is traces of it still around but not bad. The county roads are letting go of their frost so they are very soft and dangerous. Hopefully people that travel them all the time know enough to slow way down.

Susan that wasn't a very big turn out, but I just have this feeling that someday they will come and you will be amazed at the turn out. Bless you for doing what you do and keep the faith.

Betty I hope that the rest you got today helped a bit with that headache. I keep thinking you probably have a pinched nerve back there from the fall. Get a good nights rest,

Tubby's neck is still broke out and now there are puss pockets on the back of the ear. If it doesn't get better I will have to call the Dr. instead of waiting till Monday. He said it itches like crazy but still refuses to take anything. He doesn't scratch or rub at it which is good. I may try to bathe it with some baking soda tomorrow and see if that will relieve some of it. I do have some anti - itch creme I may rub on it and see if that will help. It's always a guessing game.

I think I will bring up the potting mix and seeds tomorrow and set them on a small table in front of him and get him to start some seeds. It'll give him something to do and we need to get them started so they will be ready to go in the ground after Mother's day. That's the rule of thumb in this neck of the woods. I doubt that the potatoes will get planted on Good Friday, they really don't know the difference. I never really believed in that statement, but some do. They will either grow or not and some years they go to tops more and other not. It's always interesting. I hope I didn't lose the mums I had last year. Oh well, if I do I'll have to get more. Right!

Okay, enough rattling on. Sweet dreams to all and will chat tomorrow. God Bless you All!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Propane for heating Suzanne, don't know if it's the most efficient but until I need new furnace it will have to do!

One hour isn't enough but we have to start somewhere I guess!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Shirley, I find the'ums are very hearty,if they cand survive here then you should do ok..frost is coming out on the roads as well, really have to watch the speed as some of the dips are so deep that when you come out of them you can go flying!

Sorry to hear that tubby's rash isn't getting any better as he has enough on his plate without having this..let's hope the salve works.

Well I'll go check the kiln, see how the jewelry turned out , take some pain killers and off to bed!

Hope you've had sunshine in your day!

Baton Rouge, LA

Hello All !

Hi Joyce ! Nice to see you post :)....

Oh Dianne... LUV YOU !!! ((HUGS)) Mom is definitely channeling through my DG Moms..... and this makes me feel so loved... YES - I did get the tetanus... the Dr. recommended it.... and I tried to say I'd had one (don't know when?) but hubby insisted... it sure is sore today... but no worries...

Susan... Movie night sounds like a great idea... I suppose it's still cold up there and folks not getting out as much... Even one new person makes the effort worth it ! Kudos to you all for your efforts !

Earth Day is celebrated here usually with Festivals... I dont' know if they had one this year.... but unfortunately one of the first years... it made the news because folks were littering at the Festival... (sigh)

Wow Shirley wouldn't like waiting till Mothers Day to plant... I wish we could plant potatoes... no room here... but sure do love them... never grown them....

Brb... MIL messaging me on FB... her first time... :)

Baton Rouge, LA

Okay - The LSU Spring Show...

It was nice... the prices seemed a bit high...

But I joined the Red Stick (that's what Baton Rouge means, by the way) Hibiscus Club.... LOL

so Hopefully I'll learn more about Hibiscus and maybe I can learn how to send cuttings to Shirley, Holly and my DG Friends...

For $35 / family per year... you get 2 free hibiscus plants ... free advice...emails... seemed like a good deal....

I'll post a pic of the free hibby I got today... although it's FAR from flowering yet... I also bought one that will flower soon but couldn't find a pic...

we also bought water lettuce for the sugar kettle in the front yard and 2 butterfly koi for the pond in the back yard...

OH.... Belle's latest mischief..... Hubs bought fish when he went to Wally world... apparently they are not going to sell fish anymore in our area... put them in the pond in back to acclimate.

Put groceries up and had lunch... went to go out back with Belle and I see a plastic bag flip flopping around on the patio... Belle had decided to remove the bags from the pond!

Oh Geez ! Well - fish Seem okay so far so good...

Hugs,
Mary

Mary - we're used to the cold, and go out in most weathers, but I think the reason they didn't was cuz Invictus is also a Sports Movie (not just about Nelson Mandela) so maybe some people aren't into Sports....

Baton Rouge, LA

Hey Susan - Oh yes... that's true... Us folks in Louisiana... send us some cold weather and we totally shut down but you are all used to it.... Could you also have a Hot Soup Dinner during the movie? and hot chocolate... That would bring me in LOL...

I'm sure you all have it down to a science on what brings folks in.... How is the house going? Any new nibbles ?

Hugs,
Mary

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

WOW Mary that is beautiful.
I ended up outside this afternoon. It was cold but the sun was shining. Just some basic clean up chores. Cleaned up one flower bed and collected plant debris and took them to the burning pile, raked out some leaf mulch. Ric worked in the barn, building me plant benches to sit flats and pots on. These are for my nursery area near the potting shed. No more dragging old sawhorses and boards around each spring. I will post a pic of it after I get all the pieces stained and he assembles it in the driveway. I got a call late this afternoon. I start working on Monday. Just got home from babysitting the Grands and will scoot off to bed soon. Goodnight all.

Baton Rouge, LA

Oh Holly ! What Great news ! YAY! Which job is it? Lowes? So excited for you ! ((HUGS)) Mary

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

Yes garden dept at Lowes.

Baton Rouge, LA

Congratulations Holly ! When I shop at Lowes I will think you are there LOL... That's fabulous... I agree with Betty - they are lucky to get you ... so knowledgable about plants and such... HUGS!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Hello all, not sure is it's good night for some or good morning for others but here I am, awake as can be, for thise of you up with me you kxow it will be a long wait for daybreak.

Joyce and Mary, my apologies, sometimes whine I get on a typing jag and in between typing go do something else I don't realize that someone might have posted in between, should though because it usually notifies you, sorry!

Mary, I'd milk it, it's about time you get spoilt. How wonderful to join the hibiscus club, you'll have to impart some of the knowledge you learn with this group with us..I've a couple of saucer hibiscus but I think this northern country or my gardening knowledge does them in!

How many koi do you now have Mary? Beaux temps has such a striking color, you'll enjoy it.

Joyce am hoping now that springtime has arrived there may be a job for you, difficult and overwhelming when you so want to work and can't find anything. Have you been up to see your mom and dad lately? Guess that beautiful yard of yours is already cleaned and you are enjoying your coffee on the swing!

Holly, cogralulations on the job, bet you are thrilled! You'll be busy today getting yourself organized... Hoping you'll not have to work
every weekend

Guess I should go check the firing and see how the pieces turned out?

Just let sailor in,poor furies, she was laying next to the bed while Riley and Missy were snoring ad purring away and decided to get up to keep me company, all now walking around the house wondering what to do with themselves!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

congratulations Holly!! We have a new Lowes opening up down the street from us - about 15 blocks or so! We just recently got Lowes in Canada, and suddenly they're opening a 3rd one in Calgary! Yikes, they're quick - maybe you could come work here! lol just teasin'

Ames, NE(Zone 5b)

Morning!

Mary that Belle is too funny. I can see one of our dogs doing that. We use to have a little dog named Tipper who just loved our Call ducks, as they only got about 8" tall and he would bring us one now and then and you could see the excitement in his tail waggin. He'd look at ya with those eyes like he was saying, Thanks see what I just caught. he was hard on them. He really loved it when they would be swimming in the ditch and he could retrieve one from there. They are expensive birds and one of the few that actually still quack when they matured. He was part lab and it showed. Sometimes they'd survive his grip and sometimes not. LOL That's nice that you joined the club, you'll enjoy it. The hibiscus we have are some that have to winter inside and some that survive the winters in the ground and come back. I'm sure in your neck of the woods they would all survive out doors. That is a beautiful one you recieved already . I'd be glad to send you some seeds from ours. I wouldn't know what the color is as I mixed the seed heads together. These seeds are for the ones that stay outside, I've never gotten seeds off the indoor ones. Those you would have to take a cutting of I would imagine. There is a guy about 20 miles west of us who raises koi. He has two big ponds, there are some beautiful ones.

Holly congratulations on the job! You will enjoy it and they will be lucky to have ya. Look forward to hearing what your hours will be, hopefully it won't be every week end.

Susan you are lucky that Lowes is so close as we have to go to Omaha. I do enjoy the store and they do have nice plants. It would probably take only 20=30 min. to get to one of them.

Betty did your jewelry turn out okay? Hope so. Hope your headache is much better today.

Had to get up and let the one dog in, she sometimes refuses to use the doggie door. Usually it's because one of the big ones are lying on the outside in front of it or inside and won't let her in. They can get onry sometimes. She's the oldest one of the bunch so I baby her. I couldn't go back to sleep so I thought I'd see what all of you are up to. It's gonna be a long day, as Tubby is sleeping so I can't make too much noise. I may have to make some muffins or coffee cake to keep mayself occupied till he wakes. Oh oh, I see him stirring so will check on hime and get myself some more coffee. Be back later!

Have a wonderful day everyone and hopefully the SUN will shine for all today.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Looking outside, so quiet, everyone seems to sleep in on a Sunday morning, guess they forgot to tell me!

We have a Lowes in Barrie but its off the given path so I never think of going there...

Shirley can smell your muffins from here..I'd have one but am cutting down what I eat so have tubby have seconds to fatten him up.

Did check on jewelry..bit of a disappointment, not that they didn't turn out it's just that the dichroic glass we used was dark blue so our art work is very subtle, almost have to go looking for the design but it's the technique we wanted to learn and that we did..

Off for more coffee

Lexington Park, MD

Goodmorning to all.
Coffee is on.
Snowing outside yes I said snowing.....
We have been looking for desks for the 2 younger kids and just not able to find something built well at a decent price.
Yes we got the lumber yesterday and will make 2 desks for under $100.00. Hoping to cut and assemble today and paint this week.
Holly I hope you enjoy your new job. What better area to work but the garden center.
Off to get some more coffee.

Victoria Harbour, ON

What an undertaking Holly, by doing so you get exactly the measurements and the quality..will you stain? anxious to see the outcome...have you both done woodworking before? Hope you work well together, can be a strain lol!

drats, better go put a bandaid on my finger, cut myself with a chard of glass..still had 3 pieces of jewelry to go out and I finished them and am waiting for kiln to cool so I can fire.

Now onto a search for the glue to put the bails on and a little box to package up for my sister's set. Not the best but she'll appreciate the effort of doing doggie paws..

Then maybe some sewing and get dressed!!!!!

This was the etching glass pieces that I put in the kiln

Good morning everyone. Coffee is on here too Hazelnut for those who like it.
Had a nice surprise last night. Norm called just as I was about to start dinner and told me to put it in the fridge. He got off work, came and got me and took me to dinner. We went to a sweet Italian restaurant and it was delicious. When I asked him why we were going out, he said we hadn't been for a while and he wanted a treat. Works for me!!!!
Today I am taking a 2 hour class in hand quilting. I have been told that keeping arthritic hands busy is the best thing for them so I'm going to learn technique. I can do a very primitive quilting but I want to learn to do it right. It may prove to be too much but I'm thinking if I take some Aleve before I start I should be okay.
Sounds like everyone was up early today. I woke up around 4:30 - glanced at the clock and promptly went back to sleep!!!
Mary I love the hibiscus. That is so pretty. Tubby sent me some seeds two years ago. I started them and transferred to the yard but they never did anything more. Don't know what I did wrong - I'm not the best gardener. Maybe I can get some more and try again Shirley???
Betty, I wore my eyeglass holder and earrings yesterday to the store and had several compliments on them. People were surprised that they were hand made. Said they looked so professional.
Congratulations Holly. That sounds like an ideal job for you. Is it a permanent one or just part time? I love the pictures of your home. It is gorgeous and I sit here green with envy as I look out at my snow covered yard. Yes still!!! The only ground you can see is where Norm ran the snowblower around the house. It is really getting discouraging. Our temps are not to go to even 40* until the end of the week and then it is supposed to storm. I'm really tired of the cold.
Off to do a load of laundry before my shower. Have a wonderful restful Sunday my friends......

Ames, NE(Zone 5b)

Barb I'd love to send some seeds. I would advise you to sow them directly in the ground this fall before ground freezes. They will come up on thier own in the spring when ground warms up. I'd leave them there till the 2nd year and then you should be able to transplant them or you can transplant at the end of the first year before ground freezes. I just found I had alot better luck by sowing directly in the ground and they go through that freeze there. I will send plenty. I plant them about an inch deep.

It is true that the more you use arthitic joints the better. If you don't they just become too stiff to move. I'm sure that Aleve will help. Thanks for the hazelnut coffee, it's smells heavenly.

Betty hope you didn't cut your finger too badly. The pieces look nice. The more you play the better you'll get at it. You'll have to check Lowes out at the end of the season as they discount their plants drastically. One year we came home with the bed of the truck loaded and only spent around $75. it would be worth the drive to go and check it out even at the beginning of the season.

Laura do you have plans to go by or or are you just designing the desk as you go? Good Luck! Do you have no second hand stores around there? We have alot of them around here and there is also the Goodwill and Salvation Army stores to check for used furniture. If they have to be a certain size it is hard to find sometimes.

Well, I better go see if Tubby wants some breakfast. His hives look alot better so maybe we are on the road to recovery with that.

Have a great day everyone!

Victoria Harbour, ON

You'll enjoy the hand quilting Barb..I'd love to do it if it were not to having the frame up for an extensive period of time..Aunt Muriel and Sharon both won awards on a high level, provincial status..Aunt Muriel still quilts but Sharon's back just won't let her..she has 4 tops ready to go and says one day she'll try...I'd be looking at the newer frames..they seem as though they can be folded against a wall so that would not be too bad!

Nothing like getting treated out for supper, too bad your cooking had to go into the refrigerator BUT you've supper cooked for tonight and now you can enjoy your time out and not worry. Is the shop nearby?

Thank you for the kind words about the set I sent you..have to go do lessons to be able to make nicer sets or maybe even just play more with different glass.

I've got Mary/Susan and Holly pkgs. to go out in tomorrow's mail providing of course that the kiln is kind..lol

I've just cut out row 4 (April) for the 3 - 12 Month of Christmas quilts, hoping to get that panel sewn..wanted to do zig zag on all the others but I think there is a thread thief in my house, 50 spools of thread and not one the right color...do not want to go out today, bitter cold so I'll just plug along with the other panel..

Drats, can't find my glue

Y'ALL, yesterday was Earth Hour, where people turn out all their lights for one hour at a specified time, 8:30pm. http://www.earthhour.org/Homepage.aspx

I was married on Earth Day, which is April 22nd. http://www.epa.gov/earthday/

Coffee's ready if anyone wants some!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Ug, Shirley I am so sorry about Tubby's rash, hopefully the cream salve stuff is working!

Betty you're right, one hour isn't long enough but it's a start. We were talking about participating but we got into a movie and the next thing we knew it was 10pm, so we celebrated then.

Gorgeous Hibby!! Hibiscus are my favorite! I love things that have huge blooms.

It was overcast, misty, foggy, and 45* yesterday. Funny, 2 days ago we were at bright sunshine and 82*. For this time of year we're supposed to be in the mid 60's.

Cookie!!!!!

YAY Holly!!!!!

I love shopping at Lowe's, but we have a Home Depot that's about 5 miles closer to the house so we always end up there. BUT North Little Rock has a small Lowe's so when I'm at work and have a Lowe's fettish I just go at lunch.

Betty those are gorgeous! I love the paw prints! Way cute!!

I love hand quilting, used to do it with my grandmother all the time when I was a kid. Even then it was soo relaxing. She used to have quilting parties, about 5-7 women would show up and they would all quilt and gab.

I hear Dave up, gonna go see what mischief he's getting into...

Dover, PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks everyone for all the support and well wishes. Going back to work will be a big change but it will only be for a few months and then back to a more leisurely (if you can call it that) lifestyle. LOL
Susan, I have never seen the movie Invictus, so I have ordered it from Netflix. Thanks so much for the idea.
Betty, so sorry your etching didn't quite turn out as you wanted but you are right. You have learned the technique and picked up a few good ideas for future projects. Next ones will be just what you hope for. Oh I'm getting a surprise pkg with something from your kiln? Can't wait!
Housse301,(Laura?) We were lucky the snow that you got never got this far north. Have you visited the Mid-Atlantic Forum? There is going to be a Mid-Atlantic Plant Swap in Lucketts, Va. Lucketts is on Rt 15 between Frederick, MD and Leesburg, VA The plant swaps are great fun and you would be very welcome.
So I spent the morning dividing and re-potting more house plants.
I divided my variegated peace plant into 3 nice size plants. One will go to a friend, one for the raffle table at the HGHA meeting and one for me. I took it out of it's pot and soaked it over night in a bucket of water to get the root ball soft enough to separate. Took a bit of time but so much better than just hacking the plant apart. I have some cuttings and seeds to start this afternoon.

Morning everyone. Geesh, so much going on! Betty, sounds like a nice nap is in order for you today! I hate it when I can't sleep.
Shirley, tell Tubby to eat one of those muffins for me too! Hope that rash is better today?
Congrats on the job Holly!
Forgot to tell Mary, try growing potatoes in a garbage can, if you don't have the space in the garden. Pretty easy to do!

Ric grows his potatoes in plastic 55 gal drums that he cut in half. He grows really nice potatoes. First he puts a little soil in the bottom and plants the potatoes then as they grow he adds a soil and straw mixture as the potatoes grow taller.

Holly, you go Girl!! :o)

I picked up a second cleaning job yesterday and I'm still donating plasma, so that should help. Even though there are more and more jobs opening up around here, I'm still not getting any calls. There are SOOO many people out of work and they're almost ALL younger than I am. I just hope we can hang on for the year until I can start drawing SS.

Thanks for the shoutout, ladies!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Joyce Dave's having the same problem! It's even been on the news that companies are hiring younger people because they can pay them less. It's very sad and scary, Dave's almost 50 and can't draw SS for a long time.

Look at you two go Holly!!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Joyce, I find more and more here that they are hiring the older population, just as dependable and work ethics if not more than some of the younger! Not all thought...the Trustee that comes to out office prefers young women, he said when people come in they don't want to be depressed, they want to see a young attractive woman...don't give ohm the time of da anymore . To me, I'd rather see someone who is understanding, has lived and experienced a lot of what the are going throu...what does he know anyway! Lol

Maybe you'll come across a few other cleaning jobs and find you don't want to be tied down to a regular schedule.

Wondered why I was hungry, was busy with the kiln and working on sewing strips and I didn't eve. Have breakfast and it's now lunch..
It is one of those days that you sew and it all comes together...touch wood, watch if I don't go downstairs and nothing works...once my co nutmegs to April strips are done might do a few swap blocks!

Crissy, happy anniversary..did do my part for Earth Hour last night and saw that many of the neighbors did the same.

LindaKay how is the cold and the fingers..no nap for me, once I put my head down to rest that's it....would so love to go outside and clean a but it is bitter cold out there, even furies want to be inside.
Ooops, forgot about the grilled cheese, almost done for...

Talked to mom this morning, not one positive thing to say, nope, shaking my head in disgust..so wanted to tell her to look around and see how lucky she is but thought saying someone was at the door was better..

Where is our Debbie? Waiting to see how things went at the concert..

Holly, bet you've garden projects all lined up to put your extra $$$?

I'll be on bread/water rations until I pick up the camper 1st of may..saving for that and my trip south and goodness knows what else!

Off to eat then back sewing..

Enjoy you sunshine those of you. Who have it

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Boy that is so very true. Norm is only 57 and nobody will hire him for a full time job. Even doing a job he has done for years. Experience doesn't matter. And of course when they find out he had cancer they start the hemming and hawing about he is"overqualified'!!! I HATE that word. But all of you are in my prayers every day for those that need jobs....
