i know the feeling,debra.
when we started taking plants from the sewing room,i never realized
how much dirt there was on that side of the room.what a mess.
i,m so excited, will be so happy to see blooms on the brugs you sent.
they are really growing, but not in height, just leaves.lol

Elizabeth if you can let a peach ripen beofre the squirrels get them plz let it dry and send one to me, I will pay you for it. I have wanted a peach tree for a long time, since I used to have one on the farm long ago..
beautiful flowers, Charleen and Elizabeth.
Debra
I will do better than that, I will send you a box full, my neighbor has 3 trees, that's where mine came from, so when hers drop on the street side, I will collect them for you, as generous as you have been to me, just name it & it's yours, Thank you for the nice comments, it's not really warm as I hoped it would be but the rain finally stopped it rained all day yesterday
have a great day
Elizabeth
Want me to see if I got peach sprouting up DEB????? Sometimes I do see sprouts. wonder if they would live???
Hi everyone, just popping in to say Happy Birthday Debra!
Beautiful blooms Elizabeth.Love that red iris Charleen. My peach trees are beginning to bloom also.
Got most of the brugs carried up to the front closed in porch. We have a chance of frost tonight. It won't be long til we can get them planted outside!
Dee
Hey Charlene & Dee, great to see you, Charlene between all of us Debra wil have her peach tree
I didn't know it was Debra's birthday, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Debra, Happy Birthday to you, & many more
Dee, we aren't going to have a frost, you must be way northwest of me, I have some brugs setting by the house as well as in the GH, after this week end I think it will be safe, just keep the extra sheets ready, you should be fine, I keep watching the weather channel, the closer it gets to Easter, the safer we are, I usually go by the leaves on the trees this time of year
you wouldn't believe the difference in Sepi, she acts like a kitten since I have got her fixed, also I have to take a photo of Max, he weighs about 14 lbs now, well have a good evening
Elizabeth
Hi, I am about to go to bed, but wanted to say thanks for the birthday wishes, and even tho there is a threat of temps to 32, everything is gonna have to take that temp for the two hours it will be..
They are all outside now.
I bet you have a lot of fun with your Sepi and Max, I had a fun time with my grandfurbaby, Chief , my sons cat tonight. He just loves me so much..
I have a bloom to post, it is not a brug, tho, sorry..
Oh and we used to have peach tree groves and pecan groves all over here, but they all went away when the older owners died. *sigh*
Here is Siberiean wall flower , it is a prennial here.. next up to bloom will be the dames rockets and the forget me nots..
hi everyone,hope all is well.
happy belated b-day debra.
all your flowers are pretty.
all i have blooming are the daffs, hyacinths.
also keeping a close eye on the weather, brugs are planted in the ground, pots and all in case i have to bring them back in real quick.
friday is what i'm concerned about,high45 lows after that 34,33, 34 then upwards again.that is at nite .but they made it out there for the past few nites.
jake goes today to be fixed.fell sorry for the little guy.
ketta
I was looking to see if my Dames Rockets, I know them as Sweet Rockets, are coming up. A DG'er from up north sent me some last fall. Maybe saw them, not sure, they are not in a bed, yet. They are where I'm 'going' to make a bed when I get that darn garage finished. UGH!
Debra, how pretty, I love the color, there will be plenty of time for the Brug Blooms
Retta, Girl you're braver than I am, usually by this time I have my Brugs all planted outside, but I was concerned about the night time low also, I do have some up close to the house, on the sidewalk, the concrete keeps it warm, also I have a house real close, then I have the privacy fence, my garage & the neighbor's so I have a micro climate, that really helps this time of year
Crit, how close are you to finishing your Garage, the Garage is what sold this house to us, my hubby was so impressed with a double car garage, that's what he wanted, little did he know I got half of it for my stuff, even with all of his tools
you can still park a car in there, somtimes I feel for him, I have the house basement, the attic & half of the garage, I would love to see photo's of your flower bed when you get it done
Elizabeth
elizabeth,i'm keeping a close eye on the nite temps,i did bring in a few plants but the brugs are still out,and keeping a very close eye on those.
its suppose to rain tonite and tomarrow.hope its a gentle rain.
friday and sat they say nite temps will be in the low 30s.if it is the brugs will come back in.
so i'm not really any braver.just anxious to see them grow and see the blooms.lol

I had it arranged where I have been able to get my car in there, but he wants me to put away or throw away the boxes of 'stuff' that I still have out there. He said he couldn't empty 'his boxes of garage stuff' until I got mine out of the way. Never did quite understand why, but that's what he said. I wanted to put some of them on shelves, as it is stuff I want to keep but don't have anywhere to put it right now, or seasonal. He said he couldn't put shelves up till I moved the boxes. lol I really do need to do something with them, it is just deciding 'what'. He was really teasing about having to do it before the flowerbed, but it was a hint that he would really like me to do it. He would like to be able to get both cars in there, and we really should.
Rertta, it will time to put our Brugs in the ground soon, I put mine in the ground April 1st last year, they still didn't Bloom until June, I think they know better than we do, so a couple weeks won't make any difference
Crit, it sounds like you & your hubby have the same problems as me & mine, gotta love it, even after you get the garage ready to put cars in there, they never end up there, anyway that's the way it is here, it's easier to park on the street, oh I wish my carpenter hubby would put shelve's in our garage, it would be so easy to arrange his tools, they always tease us to get their way, but after 38 yrs I know him
Elizabeth
lol
Happy Belated Birthday Wishes Debra!!!
I hope your special day was wonderful!
Karen
thanks, Karen.. it was a good day. Crit and Elizabeth, Joe is the same way, but when hail comes , he makes room for my Honda civic, his new for truck stays out as well as the old cougar, but there is a tall fir tree over the truck and that seems to help. we had golf ball hail the other night, and it didn't hurt his truck..
Retta, soon we will be seeing these kinds of pictures, and this is from last year.
my brugs are outside and they are staying outside just like all the other tropicals cuz i said so, if they wanna make it here, they have to get cold for a couple hours one more night.. if that even happens. it changes daily here..it was almost 85 today..
debra, sure will be happy to see that.
retta
good afternoon everyone
I spent the day yesterday, with my DD, we always have fun, I just love having her home, I really missed her, she is such a help around the house, plus I enjoy her company, after tommorrow, all the Brugs go in the ground, it's suppose to start raining around 3 pm then rain all night, I need to take photo's of my yard before & after, the Brugs make the yard look so tropical, have a great afternoon
Elizabeth

Debra, I got a lot of the Brugs in the ground, in between the rain, I will get the photo's of all my sticks, that's what most of them look like, I think we got the same wind storm, that you did, it looks like it's going to rain today, afterwhile I have to wash out all the flower pots, that I had the Brugs in, I'll check back in later
Elizabeth
