Glad you're over your flu, Sue!
Had an "interesting" day today.
1. rushing my legs off getting stuff done (contractors came by re: facility work)
2. meeting with my 2 bosses and one of them is really upset about her reimbursements - she needs explanation of whether they were all reimbursed, or if I "screwed up" and messed 'em up. I'm so stressed about it that I said I didn't know if they were going to tell me that I wasn't right for the job, and was fired.
3. Told my bosses some of my stresses, and I was told "you have to leave your personal stress at the door". So, I guess I know where I stand - they want to be able to have someone to vent to, but I can't.........
4. Spent most of my day going over a month's worth of reimbursements where they didn't give my boss what I requested, so now she wants to know why and I had to make a spreadsheet of the $$ amounts - one from what they paid back, one from what I requested, and one from her credit card charges/credits. What a dog's breakfast!
I felt somewhat better getting facts/figures down, but it's still stressful, because the figures don't match and she & I are going to have a 1 hour meeting at 8am tomorrow to work through it.

♥♥ Sweet Interruptions ♥♥ 213
LOL Sue!! It's not quite that bad!! Glad you're over the flu!!
Susan with any job you have to leave your personal crap at home. Personal is home, business is work. I have the same problem and it has gotten me in trouble more than once. What a stressful mess.
Hi Everyone, Cookie hope you're ok!!!
Crissy - it's just that at the interview they said they would want someone to vent with. Guess it doesn't work both ways....... I thought it did.
It depends upon what kind of venting they're talking about.
I'm here, late with coffee. Will coffee candy do? Err.. not sugar free!
Sis, Kel said he'll start digging after Easter!! Lol.. tell him to move it!!
I'll send you the peach ones. Guess Crissy can grow them too.
How about some hedychiums, Crissy?
Barb, it's too funny reading how relieved you are now. I remember mum would just ignore all of us when we start our verbal arguments. Then when it's all over, she would just come to us and handed out extra work chores. No matter who started the fiasco, we all get punished!!! All 5 of us!!!
Now your grandsons, do they have the same personality? If they do, it's always a clash as neither would back down!
When you miss their sound too much.. you can always tell them to return!! :D
Awww Susan. Poor you. You've learnt now that bosses don't mean anything they say, especially when it comes to sharing personal issues.
To them, what's going on in your home, you need to leave it at your home,
it shouldn't interfere in work performance. Trust me.. unless you have a certified medical reason.
At my previous job, all were told that the company has an "open door policy". If one failed to get results from one's immediate supervisor, the other doors to the higher ups are always open.
Yah right.. watch how fast that door will be slammed on you, and if you do get your foot in... be prepared to have hard copies of events.. evidence.. notes.. if not you'd be deemed "sub par work performance when under stress" !
Cheer up sister, thankfully Jesus is our boss!! ((((((((((Huggs))))))))))))))
I pray you have a better day at work, Susan.
Sue, hope your head is not feeling any pain! Sue, did you have to bathe that woman too? Thank God for the hoist.
Guess we all feel blessed when we see folks having it much worse than us.
You my sistah, since I've met you, are a VIP!!!!
Crissy.. let me know if you can find a corner for some hedychium gingers. They are easy to grow, like cannas and only butterflies are attracted to them.
Cookie.. Judy... Marion.. Twyla... Cindy..... hope all is going well.
Gosh.. time for me to move on.. got lots to do today!!!!
I can't take any plants, I am out of room and have nowhere to plant anything. {:-
Hello Ladies,
Weather here is depressing :( RAIN RAIN and more RAIN yuck!!!
Jaye,
Harlee is doing good. Took her to PetSmart with us to get new toys. Oh loves all the attention she gets when we walk in, lol. The day we got her we went there and got stuff for her so she remembered the ppl. She does not pee or poo during the night, but as soon as I am up it's run outside time, lol. She loves my chair, as you can see, lol.
Going to be doing some sewing soon. Need to make Taylor a 1890's dress for a field trip they are taking in May. Then after that going to make me some summer clothes.
Today was much, much better - I've "handed off" my stress, cuz worrying won't get me anywhere and won't "add a moment to my life" (paraphrasing lol).
Anyway - had a meeting with my boss re: her finances, and I proved that everything was either paid, in process, or someone else had forgotten their portion. I came out looking goooooood!
I put everything in a spreadsheet that was laid out in black/white for her, and she's happy it's finally done. Mind you, she's not happy I didn't do this earlier and relieve her stress about it...... anyway, it's DONE now!
I'm okay. A little depressed. Lots of things to worry about. Sorry if you've been worrying about me. I'll be better when I can get outside and play in the dirt. Right now I'd be playing in mud...... :o(
((((((((((((Cookie))))))))))))) rest your li'l head on my shoulder then I'll give you a big ole hug!!
Wooohooo... look at that spoiled, spoiled Harlee!! Cindy, you and Doug are so lucky to get one that's supersmart.
Now she might learn to fetch the beer for you both!
Crissy, tis fine.. at least you can say no!! This year, I'm not adding anything new to the garden, has the space, but not the energy!
Good job Susan!! Lord's watching you after all!! Glad all turns out well.
Be sure to unload here if you're stressed before you head for work!!
((((((((((Cookie))))))))))) Wish we're all living close to you. I wish for you more easier days and know that you can call us anytime.
Sistahs, Kel found this video.. it's truly a heartwrenching vid. The Tsunami doesn't discriminate..

hello from Michigan. Trip was good but I arrived with a broken finger. I slammed it in the motel room door. I have it in a splint till I get back home to see a specialist. Hopefully it will not need surgery.
I will check in later, and try to read everything then.
Can't sleep.............so I'm just here.LOL
Linda Kay so sorry for your ouchy, hope and pray it will be OK ,no surgery !!!!!!

Cindy ,Harlee is just precious, and looks very comfy !!!!!!!
Jaye that video is just so sad ,but sweet...........
Hope all you need is the splint LK. Goodness, you don't need pyhsical discomfort on this emotional trip :(
(((((((((GIANT HUGS)))))))))))))))
Synda, warm milk might do the trick for you! If not, perhaps you could try reading a boring book!!
Too tired to stay on longer. I'll be good in the morning, hopefully!
Good night sistahs...
Good morning!!
Hot buttered croissants and raspberry flavored coffee this morning. Go on.. be brave.. no more hazelnut cream.. just that raspberry syrup.
It's another beautiful day, no rain in sight... yet.
On that note, Cindy, I hope it quit raining where you're at, and you can go out and play.
Cookie.. around this time, I miss the morning birdwatchings with a cup of coffee, there. I know watching them gladdens your heart.
LK, be careful with that finger! May you have an easy day today.
Woke up with right eye full of crud! Allergies!!! Had Oreo sleeping with me last night. Well, no more of that!!
Will be back after a trip to town. Got to get some cat litter!!! Have a wonderful day sistahs!
Good morning Sitahs All!!
OMG a gorgeous day, second one in a row!! Have a few windows open.
Thank you Dear Sistah Jaye, for the thoughts and prayers...
We are having a family gathering on Sunday to Celebrate Danny's life.
Then over the weekend, We were in Springfield, IL for Jacob's State wrestling match...Yippeee and horray, he took 6th place and is now going to Nationals!!! That is to be in April.
I'e just been busy with house work and now Yesterday was able to get outside in the yard!
OH how wonderful Spring is finally here!! Had coffee this morning out on the deck while listening to best music ever, So sweet the sound of birds, chit chattering away.
Oh my Linda Kay, sorry about the finger, hoping no surgery will be needed!
Man Jaye, big bummer the allergies have returned, only experienced them once in my life atop of the Grand Tetons! For an entire week I was one giant wreck...hoping to never get them again. When we left the mountain, the allergy left me, thank goodness. Steve has allergies all summer long, I always feel so bad when they act up, poor guy. So sending you an armwrap and pray you have medicines to help with that...
OK you all enjoy the day, Ohwah, Let your cheek enjoy a Kiss from the sun!
Lots and lots to do in the gardens, so i am off!
Joyce((((((((((((((((((Big Armwraps))))))))))))))))))))))
Morning Ladies,
OUCH LK!!! sure hope it isn't too bad.
We are getting a break from the rain today BUT!!! huge big storm with high winds coming in tomorrow :( and I have to drive 45 min to PT. Told Doug he was driving me. I hate driving in the rain and wind. Then the weekend is supposed to be nice. We are going to see my brother Sunday, hope it is not too cold or windy.
Waiving Hiya Cindy!!
Hope you have some safe travels, omg please do be careful driving.
Especially during Stormy weather.
Awe, was so cute to see Harley, lol nothing like a good lounge around.
LOL Harlee is sooo cute!!
LK that HAD to hurt, BAD! Hope you don't need surgery, just be careful (like you have any other choice at this point!)
Judy I hope you have a good day Sunday, I know that's going to be tough.
Sistah Judy, I like that.. "to celebrate Danny's life". When I'm gone, that's how I want my family and loved ones to remember me. A celebration that I have also lived in this world, and hopefully, have left some happy thoughts behind.
Congratulations are in order for Jacob!!! Yayy.. made it to the Nationals!! No matter what your standing would be, just remember... the FINALS!!! That's another celebration of your life, Jacob.
Yah, Benedryl or Zyrtec for me, sis. Poor Steve, hope this summer allergies won't bring him down. Maybe he could get an allergy shot before the full season starts?
What my dear do you plan to do in the garden? Isn't it still chilly over there?
I've finished your row, and each block has a special meaning.
I'd write what they are before I mail it off to you.. sigh. It's been either forgetting what to do next or the antihistimines make me drowsy!!! Sorry sistah.
Cindy.. in the rain.. I'm a reckless driver! I can't barely see in the night.. so the rain is just as bad!!!
Hope you and Doug have a good visit with your brother.
Alrighty.. it's Armor brand meatballs for Kel tonight. Since I don't eat meat anymore and he LOVES those meatballs, he'll get them!!!
I had also fixed a nice pot of sweet potato dessert, with coconut cream. Adding artificial sweetener at the last minute.
For you that want a healthy meal... come on over. It will be pesto and pasta!! Already had tofu soup for lunch :D
Hey Crissy? Any longing pangs for a new family member after looking at Harlee?
I remember what you've said about hating to leave a pet alone for too long.. you can have an aquarium?
Nope Jaye, none at all. I don't want an aquarium because our power goes out too much, and stays off for too long. Diana lost all of her fish from one 3 day outage from a tornado 3 miles northeast of us.
I have that Synda.. if I'm right.. it seems to me as this

One tip, the flowers are 'fringy'.
Thank You Jaye !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YW!!!!
Yeap, the Master Gardener of our group got that right. Way to go Jaye. Mine has finally started to go this year--very slow for some odd reason! I worked outside for a while today trying to get some gardening in before returning south next week. Beeautiful day!!
Cookie, sending hugs and more hugs to you and your family. Just wish I could do more at this time.
Girlfrieeeeeeeeend!!!! (((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))
Good to see you here Maid M! And the Lord shines upon your garden, knowing you will soon be attending to your Mum.
Not a master gardener, but I got two of those Chinese Fringes and they did real well for the past 2 years.
If I could clone myself, I'll be in so many places right now, and two of them will be yours and Cookie's.
How's Kim doing? She must be glad to see you home.. and especially your DGDs.
Hi...
Thank you so much Crissy, and Jaye...I do appreciate your thoughts and Prayers.
Jaye, got to say, I said the same thing not so very long ago... Have a great big ole bon fire and a party, for me.
...So far I've been able to hold it together. Mostly for Joyce, I sure hope I can retain this on Sunday.
Such a hard subject to approach with all that is going on, but for those that do not know, We lost our Cousin Danny in a car crash last Wednesday night... Those who do not know me well, I lost my sister in a car crash as well, only 5 years ago this coming October...
Every senerio is the same, distance, the call, horrific shock in a matter of minutes, the loss of Sibling so close to ones heart.
Anyway, The one thing I can suggest is Love everyone in your circle and let that love be very well known.
Jaye, OMG...I have been working all afternoon yesterday and All day today! Was exhausted, Giggle, giggle, i was Chef today, made meatloaf and mashed taters, pease, gravy! Yumm mmy! Well, we watched some shows and I plunged into a most deserved nap!!
LOL, now it's 10:30, kids should be home soon, so I might be up till 11:30 or 2!!!!
Lets see, I have finished the way back of wood pile, layed Mulch and fininshed laying some border crescent stones around the new bed.
i have right now, some Hosta, and a Day Lily in there...Ohhhh today i purchased a wonderful new weed puller, lol lost my other one somewhere, thinking it's at the Cottage in Wisconsin. Well, then made some plans for tomorrow, have to a bunch of branches that need to be cut to size and stacked. That will take a while. Also, I hope to level my path in a couple of places, you know, they've sunk over time.
Yikes as far as plants, dunno, hopefully, lots will come back! But I did buy a package of Calla Lillies...Thinking to get them in the ground tomorrow too...But i do have some idea's I've been thinking to transfer things. Heavy sigh, always worrying about how to deter the critters. ROFLOL, I am trying tho...Going to take a walk for a moon vision!
ROFLOL again, my post seems to be all over, just like my calls, thanks for your patients Sistah!
Oh gosh, you don't eat meat?? What am I gonna feed you when you come? Well, got some time to figure that out...lol you better send me a menu of stuffs to eat, ok!
Yep Steve does alot of Bendryl, Just have to make sure he does them early. Scares the daylights out of me, cause, as you know drowsiness does happen.
So glad Big Bruddah enjoyed his meatballs! You tell him I say Hello...Waiving Kel, big armwrap too, hope you are doing well!
Lets see, M A R I O N!!! So good to see you post...Glad you have been in garden too. Giant Arm Wraps just for you.
Ok well, been typing for a while, lol, so blabby i am!
Will bid you all good night, see you on the morrow.
LK - OUCH! don't do that again! (k?) your poor finger!
I had a better day, today. I'm pulling back on some of the "extras" I do at work, and my bosses appreciate that I'm looking after THEM instead of everyone else!
I does gooooood in looking after peeps!
Marion, Marion, Marion - soooooo missed you, girl! Glad to see you back, and will have to have a good ole fashioned "chin-wag" on the phone sometime!
Well, it's after 11pm, so I'm tired, tired, tired.....
