Morning sistahs.
So sorry Barb.. Synda.. ready to embrace spring.. and snow comes for another unwanted visit. The frustrations!
Hope this is the last one.
The ice worked last night. No pain in leg and of course, no Lola sleeping on me, meant I'm able to sleep on my side.
Forsythias are blooming!!! Yayyy!! (sorry Barb, Synda..can't contain my excitement)
The star magnolias are bigger this year, though not as many buds as last year. I take any number of blooms.
Had to pop some Benadryl this morning as the allergies have started to irritate my eyes.
The rites of Spring?
Coffee, bagels and cream cheese everyone!!
Don't work too hard, Crissy and Susan!!!
♥♥ Sweet Interruptions ♥♥ 213
You have snow, I have rain. Thank goodness I still have the ark parked in the yard!!!
Got home late yesterday, tired and so glad to be sleeping in my own bed for a change. Mom is in a "stable" mode for the moment so I am trying to get my things taken care of before returning south.
Cleaning up some of my beds had been on my agenda but with the rain, then turning cold tonight--don't think it will happen.
Thanks everyone for your prayers and messages. It has been a huge help these last weeks/months.
Back to the job list as my time home will be short this trip.
Hello Marion. So nice to see you pop in and say hello! Don't work too hard, do what you have to, and let the rest wait! Wish we were closer to help you out in the garden!
Hey Marion, I needed that ark while you were gone!!!
Poor you, on the roads again.
We don't expect you to pop in frequently, but as long as you know that we're with you in spirit and that we love you beaucoup!!!
Did you get that honey tip, Sue posted? Apply that to your Mum's toe, and see if that works.
LK may help you with your garden, but I'll supervise her!!! Lol!!
Rest as much as you can before leaving again!
Synda, you're just too much!!! Stupidity should make life easier, as ignorance blind all the obvious!!!
Back to chores. Sigh.. why can't we live simply?? Why must I love sewing?? Why do I love to cook?? Why do I want plants?? Why must we have so many kitties.....
Don't answer.. leave me to my stupidity!!! Lololol!!
Marion - so great to see you post. You have been missed. My prayers continue......
Marion so glad to see you posting! My prayers continue also.

Wasn't aware your pc went kaput! Good to have you back Sis.

Oh wow!!! Haven't turn on the tv yet. Hope there's not much casualties.
Happy Birthday Susan and Maggie!!!
May today brings you both much joy and all the well wishes for a perfect birthday!
Sue, your body must be rebelling against the extra work. You're already a busy woman, without the job. Just your nursery and the poultry is a full time job...
Rest when you can, and the weather doesn't help neither.
((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))))
It is not looking good Jaye! So much damage!
Commercials!! Drats!!!
I'm quaking in my pjs!!!!!!!
That's not allowed!
Right now they say there is a 6 foot wave, 30 minutes from Hawaii!
Had to turn to Fox News.. warning for California now.
grandson is down right scary. this bipolar thing is getting out of hand. his brain talks too much. he goes at the end of the month for 2 days of brain scans and tests.
Sis, hope he gets help and the doctors can calm him down.
Happy Birthday Phyllis!!
You need to post a pic if you had finished your mum's quilt!
This is terrible... still watching the news...
I hope the hurricane season this year won't be as terrifying.
Thank you, LK & Jaye!
O my................Japan & California! Prayers are being said for my friend in Calgary who's Japanese - her family is there. Prayers being said for all in California (there's a lot of DG people I know there!)
I will be MIA most of today! We have a leak out on the back porch where we have our hot water heater. We have the main water valve turned off, so now we are digging up dirt, to find the pipes, and see what kind of damage we have! UGHHH!!!
Later

I thank God it's minimal damage to Hawai'i.
Hope it's just the boats affected in California.
Thank you, Synda!!
Oh wow LK!!!!
That surely would lift any spirits up, after all the devastating news today.
Will Todd be filling up their feeders when you're gone, and trusted to take pictures?
I sure hope I see some hummers this year.
Got my leg iced.. I'm off to bed.
Good night sistahs.
Oh, he loves the hummers as much as I do! He will take care of them.

Many Blessing right back to you!
Morning everyone! Coffee is ready, I'm taking mine to the back yard to watch the hummers!
Good morning!
I don't blame you, LK. I would have done the same, waiting for those babies.
How big was the damage to the pipes, LK? Just one spot?
Sue, we miss you too and you need to force yourself to rest whenever you can!
Tokyo's not affected, but I hope the wife is no where close to the earthquake or tsunami.
10,000 and counting victims. God rest their souls. And now the nuclear plant. Japan's coast is looking like a waste land.
Got some ribbit shopping to do :D That I enjoy tremendously!!! Gonna do that 'won't tell Ida' trick, so maybe it will be another interrupted trip to MB. Bad huh?
I know without a doubt, my sistahs here who are mother-in-laws, respect your children's marriages.
Experienced a great relationship with Ex' Mum... who's not a control freak.
Cookie, Marion... still praying for your mums. Hope there are more easy days for you both.
Sistah Judy, hope things have settled down for you that you can enjoy the weekend.
Hugs to all----Sis Kathy---Crissy---Twyla---Synda--- Susan.
pS. Susan, one unforgettable b'day.
so sad, the earth quakes and tusnami. sending prayers to all the victims and thier families
You're right Sis Kathy.
It could have been us in that disaster.
They said the alerts were given hours before that happen, yet they don't have a good enough evacuation system, I guess.
thankful it wasn't us, but still sick that it happened to them
