Well, you can repaint them.... but I can tell your style is not shabby chic anyway...
Spring spending spree part 4
Only with women.
hee hee
I ordered more fairy garden stuff..
Ran across some gnomes in Walmart the other day. I'll probably go back and get some. Trying to come up with some ideas for gnome houses.
Do they shop there often, Frank?? ^_^
Yes Vic, I almost squashed one the other day. Little turkey ran in front of my shopping cart!
Thanks flowAjen. I knew I could count on you. We get terrys village on occasion. Haven't gone to their website though.
Frank you just reminded me, when I was skiing a couple weeks ago, a grouse ran out in front of me. I thought it would fly away but it waited until the last second. My sister thought it would have been funny if I broke my leg because I was hit by a bird.
WHILE YOUR SPENDING...HOW BOUT A GOOD CAUSE AND GET A BEAUTIFUL BUSH?
They have these @ WalMart for $5...you get 2 roots per bag and procceeds go toward Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
IF YOU DON'T SHOP THERE OR DON'T HAVE ONE NEAR YOU AND WANT ONE I WILL GLADY BUY THEM AND SHIP THEM. I FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THIS CAUSE........
'Blush Nymph' - Peony

Our children's library has a nook that has been transformed into a fairy garden......my oldest GD loves it there, & has asked me to take her there in the near future....we used to go every Friday last Spring, but now she's in kindergarten....
I got my first spring order from High Country Gardens. Interesting packing solution which worked. Not very big, but all look very healthy so I am pleased. I will repot them and grow them out in the GH for a bit longer. Patti
Cytisus purgans Spanish Gold
Rosa Darlow's Enigma'
Echinacea palida Hula Dancer
Baptisia australis v. minor
Lilium philadelphicum

Can't believe spring orders are coming in already....still feels like winter
Talking wintery mix for Friday......no spring here.
Yes - possible Noreaster.
I got an order of Sedums today from a coop. All will need to be re-potted to await planting in their permanent homes. Plugs, as ordered, but they look good and will thrive I expect. Hope so .Happy to have them at a great price and I have heuchera plugs coming soon too. I need next week to be good weather as I will be here to finish up the new bed and get it ready to plant as most of my spring orders are going in it. April is going to be busy. Patti
I've always had good luck with High Country. Their packing is superb. From where did you order the plugs bbrook?
