Bill, this would look nice near your lanterns.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i've looked at that a couple times - folks across the street have something similar - think the one at p&h it is a bit over the top - it looks to sturdy to me - something more delicate would be nicer - i do have the three japanese bells, they are hanging off a candleabra inside.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

In what way??

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

the arbor itself is too tall and the metal too thick and i do not like the square look to the metal. thinner and round and not so tall. only my opinion.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

just placed an order for clems with debbie

Diamantina
Arctic Queen
Daniel Deronda
Multi Blue

was very happy she had a few of the new Diamantina.

great job JoAnn.. love them!!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I got 2 big boxes of primula that I ordered in the fall from Seneca who was sadly going out of business. I went hog wild. I will plant them soon, but I need to finish making a new bed that many are going in first. But first I need to finish cleaning up all the old beds as the bulbs are popping up and I have to have them clean. I ordered a couple of other things from her too, but bulbs. My big orders are for Japanese maples. Can't wait for them to come. So much to do first , but the weather has been great.

I was suppose to go up to the pottery studio for a few days, but putting that off until the weather is crappy again, no doubt soon. Love the knobs. Patti

Gee Vic, you know me so well!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice Patti!!!

South Hamilton, MA

Lost power this afternoon. It came back on about 5 pm but wonder if damage as TV didn't want to turn off. Didn't want to wake up DH so I turned the sound down to the bottom & he can deal with it tomorrow.

Hallowell, ME

Why didn't you pull the plug!?

South Hamilton, MA

Frank, there is no way that I can crawl around behind the bookcase which the TV sits on. DH says he will look to change the batteries in the remote. I could change stations all right, but it would not turn off.

Hallowell, ME

That is strange, iris.

Bbrook - if you don't have room for all those primroses you can send me up some! I've got to get some more. The ones I do have I got at a church plant sale.

South Hamilton, MA

batteries were replaced in the remote this morning & suddenly all is well. I didn't want to wake DH up late last night, & this morning he said that he had extras of the correct batteries.

I haven't checked on our one polyanthus primrose.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Nice haul Patti

We went shopping today for a shed and stone.

Hubby is finally getting that extra shed so we can get all the work stuff out of the garden one. We went down to a flea market that has a separate building of Amish made furniture and sheds....a vinyl shed there is only $200 more than the wood ones at home depot and they have free delivery

The stone is for the mini driveway we'll be doing for his trailer so we can put it in the backyard...all that work will be done by a landscaper

Thomaston, CT

Isn't it lovely to be able to do yard work again? I also need more primroses....saw some in WFF catalog that I liked.....

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I got all my primroses at a great price as she was closing down her nursery and some are the same ones from North Hill in Vt that WFF sells for big bucks. The North Hill Garden in southern Vt is about the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. Sadly one of the owners died suddenly last fall. They have a stand of primula that is beyond spectacular.

Sorry Frank, they are all planted except for a few that are going to my pal Boojum who is no longer on DG, but I see her sometime when I go to Vt and I follow her on that other site.

FlowAjen, Lucky you, I could use another shed. I would go with the Amish one as I'll bet it is better made. Please post pictures of the project.

I did order more hosta liners and some sedum on a coop on yahoo. Not sure why I ordered more hosta, but want the sedum for the second new Japanese Maple Bed in on the edge of our West woods. Sounds grand, but it is actually a small stand of trees that we like to think of as woods. Patti

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

I have 22 bags of glads....why I don't know. Any one want some bulbs???????

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

dem2rd, OMG , that is a lot of glads. Glad you have them and not me. I have discovered that some of ours seem to keep coming back. I did plant them deep, so I am not planting more until I figure out how many are hardy for us in Nantucket. These are ones that aren't suppose to be. I use to dig and store them and one year I missed some and they just have just continued to bloom for the last couple of years. The ones I stored did fine for a couple of years then one year I did something wrong and they rotted. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

jen - you should build your own shed - it is amazing what wall 8' high allow you to store - most pre-packaged sheds are only 5 or 6'.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

pfft...he barely had time to go shopping, I'd be waiting years for that shed, we're getting a 8'X12'

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

That is a cottage! nice. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Good place to banish hubby if he misbehaves.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

when i built mine i would go out every day after work to get something done - i would walk across the yard with my carpenters belt on and hammer swaying - my wife would whistle - once i started hammering the local pileated wood pecker mistook it for a mating call - cindy would sit on the deck and laugh at me and my new girlfriend!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL
