I can see the Bahamas! Yippee!
Weather in your garden # 91
Luckily while we will get rain, much is predicted to go west of us--just under an inch they say. Hope that it is correct.
Iris, I am west of you........
It's 27 °F and snowing will give way to a light mix of wintry precipitation for the afternoon. High 33F.
30 - nothing yet supposed to rain - hard at times
37 right now...cloudy & damp....good day to shop & do lunch with a friend which is what I'll be doing today.......
Raining lightly.
37° & cloudy. I know you are west, dem. We used to live in Cheshire.
Lastest measure of a down branch,24', a bit more than 6" diameter at the base of the break. I see quite a few pine branches being gathered into piles is people's gardens.
lightly raining for now. Calling for snow later tonight (6-8").
rain rain and more rain .17"
For a second I didn't see the decimal point and had a Noah moment. My backyard is VERY soggy.
Raining harder now. 0.33 inch so far.
Lots of wind but no rain yet 47°
We've just had snow showers off and on all day, still 34 here and holding.
cloudy, but no rain here NE of boston.
the police just texted that they will let us know if we need to evacuate ... don't ask me where the heck I am going with 4 dogs.. not sure if Randy's mom will be any better than us
Some places will take people with pets in an emergency. Or do you have friends out of the immediate area who would love to play with the dogs.
going to have to wait and see who and where is flooded first I guess
Wow. Good luck Allison!
Take a trip to Maine? I know some animal lovers in South China, they don't seem to be picky about what type of fur critters they take in. ^_^
Randy is well- behaved!!
our house will be fine... bad news would be we would be trapped if the lake floods.. and down the other end of the only street out is a train trussle that floods as well... only one road in and out of the area
oh yeah Celeste.. I am sure Hope will love your bunny... LOL
no rain yet - just watched a turkey perch itself at the top of a 100' white pine
that says something
Crap! Crossing my fingers and saying my prayers for all of you guys in N.J.
I just saw the news about it....bad!

Hope & Patches are the same size! LOL
LOL... don't see that going well.. Hope might get her butt kicked!!!
all the rivers in the area are going 3 feet over flood stage... not going to be easy getting around anywhere up here
I still see piles Sherrie... just amazing how it is hanging in there
Our local paper said the volunteer firemen pumped out 40 basements during the last rainstorm....we are expecting 2" here.....
good luck to you too RD
Thanks.....had an inch or more in the basement last time, but it all dried up, amazingly.....my girlfriend who lives in a neighboring town never had water in her cellar in over 40 years.....she had to call the fire dept. twice....
0.65 so far.
if the power does happen to go out... do you think my power inverter in the car would run my sub pump so I don't have to mess with the generator?... the dang thing is so heavy to move around
What is the rating of the inverter? Check it vs. the power of the pump.
it's a small thing... not really sure.. just to power my computer for work
Rain, just glad it's not white!
I don't even know what the sub pump requires... kicking myself in the butt for not buying that one with the battery back up yet
