that water would have been cold!
Weather in your garden # 91
Yes, Bill, and it was really white water with lots of rocks to break my neck on!
I remember we posted about Yaktrax and Stabilicers. Any favorites??
i use yaktrax - not for hiking, just down my second story deck and driveway - did use them when i was getting rocks when the pond was iced over and did great with them.
Same here, Yaktrax, but not for hiking (the coils would get ruined in no time), for extreme conditions like hiking with gravel, slippery rocks, etc., I'd use my 'ICEtrekkers'
-which I haven't used in a long time, lol!!
DH still has his snowshoes handy. I hope not needed as he has been pulling down a couple of pine branches which were off the trees but since the needle end was stuck in snow, they were vertical.
These look good, if you want to pay $60.

I like my TRAX .I cant believe I am in the garden clipping back old echi stems and caging the baptisias. Also cable tied the trellises where I have clems. They are budding.
It was snowing and raining so I came in.
Be careful Victor.I Listen to my cautionary voice. It has saved me almost every day.

40° here, a Southeast wind at 17 mph makes it feel like 28°, gray & cloudy outside.
It's been gray & cloudy all day here, chilly wind too. Not expecting to see the sun until Saturday,
after the major rainstorm leaves. -The one that's going to hit us tomorrow.
Hi, home from Hosp. No more gallbladder. Left at 6:30 in the sunshine, came home at 2:30 to grey sky, wind, damp. New flood warnings up for tomorrow. More rain on the way. Lucky me I'm allowed to stay home and sit it out. Maybe I'll just sleep all day.
Hope you feel better soon, Candy.
Glad your home and doing well, take it easy and enjoy the down time while you can. ^_^
Candy, hope you have speedy and complete recovery!
I hope you can get strong quickly. Chilly here so a better day for errands than gardening.
Feel better!
Glad you are home so soon from the op Candy.......have some great me-time!
