Betty that's not good, and being autistic you never know what happened. Sounds to me like she tried to plan this whole thing while Sharon was away. Sounds like a typical 16 year old to me, Lord knows I tried a few stunts when I was that age and the internet didn't exist then! LOL

I watched the second half of the Westminister Dog Show last night and I have to say I was not happy with the dog they chose to win. All of those beautiful dogs with beautiful fur and markings and perfect stances and walks... poooo

How difficult it must be for you and for Tubby going for his treatments, praying that they can come and do them from your home..it's bad enough worrying about the illness to have to worry about dollars for specialty foods/meds.

Don't you be overdoing, outside or inside..you'll have plenty of time to do a bit at a time. Sounds as though everyone will experience nice weather this week! Can't wait for slush..lol

Today they are sending Mike to Toronto, actually Newmarket, let's hope the next procedure goes off without a hitch for Mike. Tried calling Ann last night but line was busy right up to 11:00 pm..most likely calling her girls and family.

Last call for the potholder swap!

A lot of parents have blinders on, they think their kids could do no wrong, which is completely wrong! LOL Not saying Sharon is that bad, but you know what I mean.

I wanted to tell y'all that I spoke to my mom last night (she just had back surgery on Monday to hopefully relieve her pain, or at least some of her pain) and she's in a lot of pain from the surgery, which is to be expected since the dr told her he beat her up, but she's been running a 102* temp ever since surgery. They have her on IV antibiotics and she says she feels fine, but she's all morphined up and I'm very worried about that fever.

I am here just checking in here and there. Am going to the heart doc tomorrow. Yuk. BEV

Sending many more prayers out today. Crissy, Dianne, Debbie, Judy, Tubby, Susan, Mary, Bev and Ann&Mike. God bless you all and I send prayers for your and your loved ones returning good health.
Been busy these last couple days - trying to plan a new quilt for one of my dearest friends. Just got materials today when I went to BOM at the quilt shop. It will be in blues and I hope she likes it.
I may be away for a few days to my son's home to babysit the girls. He and DW have a chance to get away and I'm not sure how often I will be able to get online. So if I don't post, don't worry...

Sorry to hear about your mom Crissy, didn't know she had another operation. I'd be worried as well..let's hope she doesn't have any infection brewing inside. It's times like these you'd love to live closer to your parents!

On his way home with handler..if it wasn't so expensive for her to fly she'd go but she'd have to go to Quebec and get him and then to NYC...

Have a good many of them, like the fall leaves and christmas die..hope they are still on sale in a few weeks...some nice baby die's...bet you are anxiously awaiting your package!

I am going to ask him if they are planning anything for the big artery under the heart that is 70 percent blocked. They call that the drop dead artery. Sure hope if that happens it is in my dayliliy garden. I have had two boughts with chest pain in my sleep paralisis. There is not anything that can be done about that. I am looking forward to digging in the dirt. It is 60 here. We will have some more cold before May tho.

LindaKay, what did you say was the strength of your ipad..I'm going to get the 3g one, better for travelling but don't download music, photo's on it so wouldn't need high strength, which do you have and are you finding it's got enough memory?

Bev, you must have quite the camera, now how on earth did you capture that photo or is it changed with a program..love it...

Don't like the sounds of the 'drop dead artery' surely in this day and age something can be done to repair it.

Betty, I have the middle ipad, at 32G. They have the 16, 32, and 64, and I find mine is more than enough room. I don't download music either, so it is plenty for what I use it for! And yes there is a book reader in it also!

Betty the 3G is how fast your phone works when your on the internet. LK's 32G is how much memory it has for storing stuff.

Yes, think the one I will buy is the 32gb with wifi but I'm adding the 3G service so I can access anywhere without having to be near a wifi connection ..called Jeff to see if he wanted to go this weekend to buy it,as I'm anxious but he's away on business in Mexico I believe and not getting home until Saturday..drats..

I did these last yr on #2 software. Corel Paintshop Pro Ultimate Photo X 2 but I have #3 now and haven't done anything on it. If I don't like it I will download #2 again.

Now that's stunning, do you purchase the software?

Crissy sorry to hear about your Mom and hope she gets along okay and we will be saying prayers for her and you. It's always a worry.
Barb enjoy yourself with the kids. It's always great to see them. They grow and change so fast, when one doesn't see them often a person notices it more.
Tubby is resting under his new electric blanket I got for him. He is so cold all the time. We had a CT done of his left shoulder. It gives him alot of discomfort so I called his Dr. and told him and we were able to get it done while at the hospital. We'll go see Dr. to get his blood checked so we'll have the results by then. I mentioned to the dialysis Dr. that I would like to do this at home. It was a bad day for me as I couldn't talk much without crying so we'll talk more and he'll get me the information. We'll see what we can get worked out. The less I have to move Tubby in and out of the wheelchair the better. He is always so nauseaed when we get home. It'll take time to see if we can get things straightened out for home dialysis and antibiotics.

Dianne - the author is Paul Fleischman. I ordered another book by him (again a Teen Book) titled "Seek". OMG it's got SO many parallels to my life...like he wrote it FOR me... I am doing like Thunder and reading it again the second time. But If I could share ONE book with you all it would be "Whirligig" which just held SO much meaning to me...
