Hey Dianne - I hope your headaches go away ! How neat to trade cookies for fish ! Do you pan fry the fish?
Hugs,
Mary
Best/Worse/What did I learn today? Chat with friends..
Sure do Mary. I usually use Panko as my DH likes a batter around his fish.
I can taste the delicious fish from up there Dianne. I remember my trips to Canada fishing. Cooking them on shore and the beautiful scenery. Those were the days. I love the walleye. There isn't anyone around here that would trade fish for cookies and less they don't like to eat them, just catch them. I'm jealous.
There are days when I wish we had a car instead of SUV, but yet I love sitting up higher, I think that's cause I'm so short. I traded vehicles last year one day to get Tubby to the Dr. with our friend. I felt like my rear was dragging on the ground. She felt like she was driving in a tall truck. LOL
Well, Tubby just informed me he wants the lights out to go to sleep. Will chat tomorrow. I think I said that once before lol. Good night.
Goodness, you all have been busy!
And look at Shirley making a storage unit for all her earrings! Would love to see some of them! Are your ears pierced?
Betty, give Ann an extra hug from us next time you see her! Love the story about the hug blanket!
Crissy, sure hope you get that new vehichle! You can ask the dealership to do a dealer locater service for you! That just means, they call around and find what you want, then they trade one of thier cars, for the one you want! it should not take 3 months to do!
Dianne - I looked up "Panko" on wiki.... it might be something I can get at World Market Foods... :) I'm ALWAYS Learning on Betty's Blog and I think that is the point... and one thing she loves / will love to hear about Betty's blog !
Love all,
Mary
Betty, yes the citrus trees all bloom...and they smell wonderful!!!
son will be able to call from time to time, he will use most of that for his wife and daughter, understandable. he will have computer connection in a few weeks, and we will be able to email. and we all got that skype thing on our computers so we can video chat also thank goodness for the computer, as he is most definitely not a letter writer!!!
lovely, sad, and more lovely, story about the hugs blanket.....I have a shirt that was my stepdads, and when I get real depressed, I pull it out and put it on, makes me feel like he is here giving me a hug. He was a great man. treated me better than the real father ever did, and was a great Pop-pop to my oldest son!!. one of those people that could always see the good in people / the world..always had his cup half full !!!
I make jewelry, and I thought I had a lot of earrings!!! 700 pairs !!! I can't wait to tell hubby that one ^_^ WOW
well time to try to go to bed I guess, Hope Y'all have a great day, and keep safe and warm...
Morning!
The coffee is on! Come and get it lol. You'll have to follow the snow plow this morning. It is really collecting outside. I'll go out later and shovel. It is light, but alot of it. Will wait till daylight so I can see better. I know if it gets too deep, the guy that farms the land around us will push the snow with his tractor and blade.
I know it's unual for someone to have that many earrings. I collect cook books also. I don't have that many of them.
Check in later.
Morning, so want to gab but am running late this morning, decided when the alarm went off that I'd rather snuggle in AND promised to pick up some of those blackberry bluetooth units for a few friends so will leave 1/2 hour earlier to do so..
Not snowing, roads should all be clear, just need to find a warm coat..glad I bought books yesterday but lordy they look clunky, guess I'm not fashionable anymore, true sign of getting old but on the other hand am warm..
waving to all
Coffee and Tim Hortons await you, gab in a bit
morning Shirley, don't you go driving if the weather isn't great..don't want any mishaps, appts. can be put off until another day!
I collect craft supplies/tools and garden art so know where you are coming from..can't imagine what the kids will do when they have to clean the craft room..yikes-green garbage bin for sure! Do some of your earings come from other countries? do you store by color? size? very interesting what people collect..one aunt collected spoons, another salt shakers, mom, it's dolls (porcelain which she makes and Royal Daltons)..everybody has a penchant for collecting something right..Suzanne, SIL and co-worker is cookbooks and recipe's as well, she keeps saying she'll organize them but so far not! lol
We cross posted and of course had to drop in and see who was up early...back to bed Shirley, snuggle in for a few more hours..
Morning everyone! Thanks for the coffee SHirley. How is Tubby today?
Can you show some of your earrings please? They sound so pretty! Do you like small earrings, long dangle ones? Do you have a favorite color?
Thunder so nice that you will be able to keep in touch through the computer!
Tubby is doing okay this morning. I was out shoveling snow, but came in and called and changed appts. till tomorrow morning. There is an easy 8" of snow or more and just keeps coming down. We will try it a 8:30 tomorrow morning. I'll go back out later on. I'm hoping it will be done later today. It's suppose to be windy tomorrow. This snow is very light so will blow around like crazy.
I will take pictures of island and some of my earrings today and try to post them. I don't have any rocks done right now, that'll be later. I have pierced ears. Three in left ear and two in right. I have long and dangling and little ones. I don't wear too many of the long ones unless my hair is long and it's not now. I just never seem to get rid of any and eventually they come back in style. LOL just like clothes. When I was young (boy that's a long time ago) I would wear 5" spike heels. I know I couldn't do that now. I go for comfort instead of looks. It's kinda like my clothes, I have sizes small to full figured and it's full figured now. lol You can't take your money with you when you're gone, but I can take it in poundish.
The crazy dogs have been in and out, they bring snow in with them each time. They forget to shake it off in the doggie room first. Got love them. Ha!
Check in later. Have a good day to all and drive careful!
Oh, I worked as a waitress, and hostess for so many years, wearing heals! That is what killed my feet, and had to have surgery for! Which did not work! Now it is SAS (San Antonio Shoes) shoes for me 100% of the time! You can even buy them from Amazon. They are a bit pricey, but so comfy, and they last a long time!
Hi Everyone...
Well it has been one long week and weekend.
First Thank you all for the advise and major support.
After much conversation we are all on the same page.
Things seem to be back on track. Sabrina has allowed Steve to block the callers.
Ever since the conversation, knowing we will Do what is needed she did almost a complete turn around.
Like a giant weight was lifted. OMG, She was trying to deal with the situation herself, part of reason she didn't come to us.
I questioned both Jake and Julia and they told me what was going on that they knew
I was an emotional wreck by the time we had the discussion. Steve, finally "heard" what was up
made a call and we both talked to Sabrina...
Thank you Liz and Betty for listening, you can't imagine how much that means to me.
Well, anyway, I think my nerves once again calm, but i will be on extreme watch.
I've a ton of stuff to catch up on, LOL...can't pull weeds, the next best thing to take anger out
swing a hammer!! relocated a bunch of photos from craft area to hallway.
And I clean and clean...
Hahaha, Mary a full year of Sox?? I call mine the sock bragade, done when sock basket is empty! Problem is they never get matched until kids clean there room, sigh...
Ok, will get caught up with all of you.
Big Giant Arm wraps.
((((Judy))))) It is so hard when they "think" they are very grown up and can handle it without parents. BUT it takes big courage to let Mom & dad step in. Sabrina did a great great thing!! You are awesome parents, I hope it all calms down for her (and you) now.
Looks as though we're all going in for comfort, the boots I bought over the weekend are something years ago I'd never dreamed of wearing, now, I'll wear anything that's warm and toasty...got to laugh at the lbs. Shirley taking them with you, think many of us will do the same..Linda Kay not sure what San Antonio shoes are..will check on web..
Watched some 'in fashion' show the other day and they were saying that heals are getting higher, omg, loafers for me. At Epcot I couldn't believe how many of the young women were wearing spikes, how they survived an entire day of walking on coblestone is beyond me..shirt skirts hmmm not sure they were skirs, about 3" in length, tank top, was nice weather in slacks and sweatercoat but as the evening came you'd see these young ones freezing to death BUT they looked like fashion plates!!!!
Been busy this morning, always helps pass the Monday blues.
Seems I accomplished much and it's only noon hour, picked up 4 blackberry hands free units before work this morning, called the appliance store to see if my freezer was in had hoped to go get it at lunch but said it might come in later in the week..should take a run to the stained glass studio, have some gift certificates that need using and I need a new diamond cutter and a few other tools and another shelf for the kiln, might do that at lunch...then this evening I'll go register for the Barrie Library so I can take advantage of using ebooks and photo copy tree skirt patterns for some of the girls, that will about do Monday in.
Glad Shirley you've been able to rebook Tubby's appt.; if the wind picks up you sure don't want to be on the road!
Thunder, do you have Skype? I have the labtec, was thinking of downloading it, never sure if it's a good thing, if it uses too much of my computer memory? Might be a great way to see your son as well as e-mail..technology is wonderful isn't it, allows families who live so far apart to be able to stay in contact. Which months do the orange trees bloom..think I was in Bonita Spring one year when they were in bloom, can't think what other tree it might have been?
Dianne, our hut villages are in our bay right now, Cathy's been going fishing as her brother has quite a unit..I'm not a fish eater though except for 'crappies' do you get them in your region? Your body Dianne must be telling you that you need rest, perhaps a few days sitting on the chesterfield and reading would help..did you get the results yet from the Doctors'?
Debbie, how are you all doing today..when is Paul's eye appt. and how is your leg? Hope the pain has all but left. All Christmas bins have been stored in back shed, have a Debbie corner, 2 boxes of books from mom, a box of wood projects for you to get ahead of the Christmas rush for 2011 lol so watch out next time we meet.
Judy, hope all is well in your neck of the woods today! Thinking about you and sending prayers for Sabrina.
Mary have you been to see a doctor and are you taking meds..seems this virus you have is getting the better of you..hard to think of you having to have the fireplace on. As for 3 kids in the house, they were well mannered and not overly loud, just bodies everywhere..lol
Know in most homes things can lay on counters, shoes here and there and that for me takes a lot of getting used to...lol...
Thanks Debbie, ((((((Armwrap))))))) right back to you. How is your Foot?
OH Betty, What a wonderful package Ann received from her friend. I too, have sent one hug and it felt great.
I hope Ann will use her Hug often and feel how much love crafted into it...
How was your Dinner out?
Bev, Spectacular photos. What stunning scenery you have.
Enjoyed the night out, lovely meal..omg have to remember to make scalloped potatoes and ham roast, been a long time since I'd eaten it and talk about yummy, homemade apple pie with ice cream didn't hurt either.
Now that the house is cleaned and back in order Judy will you be sewing again...have you joined in any of the swaps?
Starting to get 'swap' deprived..joined the rock one but seems there are few to put my john henry on..drats that's not good!
Paul "vetoed" me taking the child to the dentist for her follow up. She drove up, met him and he is now at dentist with her for recheck on the wisdom teeth.
Pauls eye surgery is tomorrow at 11:00. He decided it is safer for ME to drive him home than to let "the child" go and drive him. Ya think?
My foot is still attached. lol The swelling was looking better, I have the boot back on as my ankle is hurting...and I actually put an "arch support' in my boot to see if that would help better because its just not comfortable and feels like it was pulling.
Paul still has my car, his is still...dead. I don't know when we can get it fixed and I am getting upset. He is going to find out with a crutch upside his head real soon if he thinks this is his way of stopping me from getting out. He has serious control issues...I have serious impatience issues. lol
OK, let me try again...
Well, I don't know how to attach a PDF formatted file h ere. So if anyone wants to see it, please send me an email to lcartwrigh55@gmail.com, I will send it to you!
Here are a few patterns on this site!
http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art6345.asp
and another one...
http://www.simplicity.com/t-free-quilt-patterns-Stars-All-Around-Tree-Skirt.aspx
a few more...
http://www.bomquilts.com/tree_skirts.html
Now you've got me wishing that I could bring in my sewing machine here at work..lovely patters...
Debbie, how long will Paul be off work? Can understand him not wanting to drive with a teen..lol..bit on the scarry side..
As for the tree skirt, could see how some of my Victorian Block squares would adapt to it..think we'd all best get what Christmas projects we'd like to do done before Feb. comes and we all lose interest..
Just came in a few minutes ago from shoveling. Thank goodness it is not heavy with moisture. I will clean off the vehicle and the rest of the ramp in the AM. The wind is to pick up alot tonight so thought I would leave it lay on the tarps that cover the ramp. I'll move the vehicle so I can throw the snow into drive. It's gotten colder and is to stay that way for a few days.
Linda = enjoyed looking at the quilt skirts and all the things they have to offer. I'll make a note of the sites so I can go back and look somemore.
Debbie - what kind of eye surgery is Paul having? We wish him the best of luck. Are you allowed to take your boot off just a night or different times of the day? Glad to hear it's getting more bearable. You take care of yourself and glad that Shannon is doing okay.
Judy - thank goodness that everything worked out for Sabrinia. It will be easier next time to come and talk to Mom and Dad. I can only imagine the weight that is lifted off your shoulders, yet one never truly stops worrying. We all are with you.
Mary - is that head cold still hangning on? I hope get well soon. Get plenty of rest.
Thunder - It's great that you will be able to see and talk to your son once in awhile. Our prayers go out to him and all our troops away from home. We have a web cam on the computer, but have never read up on how to use it. I know that the other person needs one also, and I don't know of any of ours that do.
Well, I better go figure something out for supper. Check in later.
Shirley, Paul had 2 other eye surgeries. He had a detatched retina in August. Another surgery in December for a cataract that had formed. NOW, it seems a "film of cells" has formed behind the lense they implanted at that time, and messing with his vision big time. SO, tomorrow they will go in and remove that film. I have no idea how long he will be off work....if at all.
I can take the boot off for bedtime. And during the day if I am staying "planted" I take it off for a bit as it makes my foot so sweaty! I am doing better with weight bearing....which is what the doctor wanted. Stairs are still a nightmear though.
Give Tubby a hug for me....tell him to try and eat some pudding!
Hugs for you too Miss Shirley, you have such energy...share the secret with me.
Debbie
Debbie - Wish Paul good luck tomorrow and I'm sure you won't be able to keep him down long. I'm sure he'll have to watch what he does and picking up anything over 10lbs won't be allowed for a while. Do you wear a cotton sock inside your boot. That may help.
I really don't have that much energy. It seems like I have alot of time that's what I call down. When I look at him and see how tiny he is getting it breaks my heart. I just want to wrap my arms around him and take it all away. I know I can't do that, but then I try to think of something else to do to take my mind away for awhile. Some days are full of tears and others are okay. It just comes with this dreaded thing called cancer and you know there is only so much one can do. I try to never let him see me cry and only say things that will encourage him on. I can usually tell what the Dr. is thinking even if he doesn't say it and I know he knows by the looks we exchange.
I better get to bed as I have to be up early to finish moving the snow. Will check in on everyone tomorrow sometime. Sweet dreams to all.
Shirley
OH Shirley... ((HUGS)).... I wish my hugs could take it all away..... I'm so sorry.....
Shirley, we will continue our prayers for you and Tubby, till he is all healed! Sure wish he could eat more and gain some weight!
Hey Mary, how are you feeling?
Debbie take care of that foot, and don't over do it!
I wish paul, lots of luck for his surgery! Sending prayers your way for complete success!
Hello All !;
Thank you LK ! I AM feeling better... went to the DR. last week... got a shot and prescription... and (YES) I am still swearing by the "Vicks on the Feet" (thanks DEB!)....
It helped to have a nasty weekend to do nothing but stay home... organize/clean... etc...
Deb - don't blame you at all ... I'm sure you are 'stir crazy' but need to recover.... I wouldn't want my teens driving me home from surgery either... EVEN the one (LOL) who drives well.... ((HUGS)))
Betty - I am SO like you. I absolutely hate "stuff" lying around. It's quite an adjustment. I am finally learning to deal with. The pup is helping because (for example) today he chewed the shoes lying out. Oh my... so sorry. (NOT LOL)...... the lesson - put the shoes UP and PUP won't chew them ! HAHA!
JUDY ! I am so glad that things worked out so well.... I hope in the same situation I handle the same way... YOu are paving the way for me Gal ! I agree.... now that she can trust you will 'back' her.... perhaps she will be more open in the future. What a wonderful thing to see the family standing behind her and supporting her... now that's what family is all about....
I must quote Disney.... "Ohana means Family... and Family means NO ONE ever gets left behind"... (Lilo and Stitch). Okay ya'll... you know I'm a DISNEYFANATIC !
Okay - before I get all emotional here and you think it's my prescription... I best head out .....((HUGS)) to all
Mary
MARY!!!! That is my FAVORITE disney phrase! And it makes me cry.....Stitch holding the picture of the little duckling "ohana". AND...don't tell anyone...but the soundtrack/Cd from that movie...is in my van playing quite a bit. Of course there is quite a bit of Elvis on it!
I needed that tonight.
SHirley, praying for safe travels tomorrow. Slow and steady. I remember those looks you speak of, with my Moms and daughters doctors. It is one of the hardest thing ever in my life. We are all here with you, every step of the way.....
Yes, I wear a cotton sock with the boot. It helps quite a bit, along with some ACEmed powder for soothing.
Ok, I am heading to bed....long day tomorrow.
Shannon did do well with her check up after the wisdom teeth today. All looks good.
Good night, sweet dreams
Debbie
Morning!
Am I the only one up so early. Been up for awhile. Will go out and shovel snow in a little while. It's only 12 outside right now. We'll be careful going to town. I can see the plow trucks going down the highway. I will make sure Tubby is dressed warm. The trees are laiden with snow like those in your pics. Bev.
Mary - glad to hear you are doing better. Just take it easy till completely gone so you don't get a set back.
Chat later---
Morning all, much to read..joining in with you Shirley and Debbie, nothing has happened or will ever happen (I hope) that will make me feel as hopeless as when I was at the hospital with Roger for those few weeks, dealing with cancer, the game playing with Roger as not to let him know his days were numbered, he playing same, encouraging me as to when he'd be home, drats..heart just racing at the thought! Amazing how we can keep things together, put on a great front while all the while crying inside or in some corner when faced with such events..Women sure have strength! Prayers coming your way! Lordy girl, it's early here and there is a time difference there, what time were you up? and they say I'm energetic, you just took my crown..lol..be careful out there, don't go if it's blowing; we'll be waiting for your post. It warms my heart as I'm sure it does for others to know that you've joined our family and feel that we're compasionate and loving enough to share your thoughts..
Let's hope Debbie that Paul's procedure goes well and that he only needs to be home for a few days and that it will be the last of eye surgery. Good news about Shannon and am sure by tonight you'll be posting much the same about Paul! What have you been doing to pass the time along? makes for a long day I'm sure. Debbie, this year FOR SURE you have to come to one of the largest Elvis festivals there are right here in my area..just have to..I'll keep hacking at you until you give up and come..lol
Mary, lost many a shoe due to puppies, you sure learn to put things away! Glad you are feeling somewhat better..Love that line as well and yes, know how much you love 'Disney' just got to win that lottery so we can all meet and enjoy the parks..most likely one of the first things I'd do..always fun to dream isn't it? Kids in exams?
Well, went to the Library last night and registered, tried to download e-books, omg almost all taken, says you have to reserve so will do that. The book I did download though in on my computer e-book icon but didn't download onto my actual e-book, technolody, isn't it grand, will call library this morning and find out why not?
Went to get photo-copying done in color for the girls who wanted patterns for tree skirt and when I got home realized the book I photocopied I left in the copier so will have to call them to set it aside and I'll pick it up either today on my lunch or tomorrow..
Got home and Danie was not here, ended up in bed about 8pm, only woke up when she came in and another time during the night so must have needed it...saw this morning when I got up 3 books she had purchased on jewelery and glass sagging..GOT to tell her again and hope it sinks in that she cannot continue to buy me whatever she hears me say I'd like or might buy one day..it's embarassing to me, know it's her way of thanking me but it's absolutely not necessary as she's already given me rent $$$ against my will.
Right leg is so bothering me, paining like the dickens, am sure it's the cold and all the driving I did in that one week, maybe I sat on a nerve.
Well, best I get garbage out, get dressed and start my day..
All you with bad weather, please be careful, if it's too bad stay in and enjoy, I'm always looking for someone to gab with throughout the day so your day will not be lost..lol
Well was outside trying to shovel. It's terrible out there. The wind is twice as strong in the country as in town. I will have to call and change appts. again. I'll have the guys come over tomorrow and push the snow out of the way. Everything I cleared yesterday is all back and more. I don't want to take him out if something would happen it would be too cold out.
I'll have another cup of coffee and call my neighbor in awhile and see if she can pick up my meds for me. I need my BP med., didn't get it yesterday and can feel it in my head. If she can't then I will go out myself later. The snow plow will probably be by later today unless he thinks there's no use for today.
I usually am up by 4-4:30, sometimes earlier. Depends on what time I get to bed. I never was a big sleeper. I always figured I can sleep all I want when I'm dead and gone. LOL
Have a great day all, chat later.
Morning everyone! Shirley, make sure you get those meds soon please? But please be careful if you go out in that weather! Can you sign up for mail delivery of your meds? That is what I do for Dad, and it makes things so much easier! He uses right source, but even wal mart has a home delivery service!
Betty, please take care of that leg, go get it checked if it keeps bother you!
LindaKay, thanks sweetie for your concern, know it's from all the sitting in the car, fall didn't help either and some old age..got to love this getting old.
Med delivery sounds like something you should check out Shirley, our Debbie went without her BP meds and got into trouble, so don't go without, Tubby needs you. Am sure they get a lot of cancellations when you have bad weather, best be on the safe side..now what mischief will you get into today seeing as you can't go out and will be inside all day...LindaKay, bet you are going to tell us it's in the 80's right..so wish I was in your neck of the woods.
Calling for a storm in Toronto, coming up from east coats of USA, no mention of it hitting Barrie though so perhaps this storm we'll miss..won't hurt my feelings.
Barb and Laura will it hit your area?
Morning to everyone. We are getting ready to run errands this morning as later today the snow is supposed to start here. The weathermen are saying 10-18" here so Norm and I will snuggle in and "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!" Our family is excited as they are all snowmobilers and we haven't had enough. Only one storm this winter that had to be plowed and the was the day after Christmas.
Norm got a bread machine for Christmas and is trying it out today too. With his diabetes, we have to be careful with carbs so I'm looking for healthy recipes for this. If anyone has any, we would appreciate hearing from you.
Betty, I'm trying to decide if I want a tree skirt in traditional colors or it I want a really funky one. Maybe I'll make it reversable so I can have both!!
Shirley, we worry so about you and Tubby with all this bad weather. I know you are careful - just wish there were something we could do to ease things a bit....You both are ALWAYS in my prayers.
Betty have you heard from Ann regarding their appointment? Today is Tuesday so maybe she will be over tonight.
Debbie and Mary I so enjoy your Disney tales. I can just imagine you two together!!!!
Dianne, how are things up north? I miss you when you don't pop in.
Bev, you are in my prayers this morning. How are you feeling?
Judy where is the gathering going to be? At your home or the camp? I wanted to go to Florida this spring but with Norm's job that's not going to happen. It is only a part time one but it is needed and sure does help.
Must get going to the store. ~~~~~ to all
Barb
Started ice/snow mix early and stopped. But will start again later today. I just wish if it is to snow give us enough to play in. We have not had but a couple of inches here and there.
Debbie I was in a boot for a month or so and almost killed myself trying to do stairs. I can share ebooks if you want. just d-mail me your e-mail address so can send.
LK I tried to send you an e-mail and it came back not able to send. Not sure what I did wrong.
Shirley be ever so careful and get your meds please we need you and so does Tubby.
Judy ,I bet Sabrina feels better knowing her parents are behind her.
Well sewing sewing and more sewing to do.
Oh about the lost sock....the dryer eats them here.
Morning Barb. I agree LET IT SNOW.
This message was edited Jan 11, 2011 10:24 AM
Sitting here writting out envelopes for the tree skirt pattern, anybody else want one, nows the time!
Barb, Ann &Mike are in Toronto as we speak, he has to be shuttled to a few hospitals for several different tests and appts. Ann's tummy was just a turning, although he looks great she's worried of the outcome. We play as you know t.v. bingo every Tuesday, said if she didn't come it is because of the outcome..so prayers please!!
Tell Norm I made a bread in mine the other day, didn't turn out, saw my bread machine yeast had expired, only by a couple of months so though surely it would be ok...not...you have to be so precise; mouth watering here!!!
Laura and Barb best you stay in today and enjoy...Barb, might be the time to get those knitting needles out and you can make a snowmobile dickie (neck warmer) - sure would earn browny points if you did so.
Agree with you Laura about the eaten socks, hard to imagine where hundreds of them go over the years...have to dig up that poem about the lost socks..at one time I would pin or take a large needle threaded with wool and tie them together but lordy, much too much work for me, lol, easier to go purchase socks..time I go through my drawers as well, match and throw out those that don't have matches but then the day I do that oh/oh found the other sock..best we purchase only same color and type of sock so it doesn't matter when matching.
Betty that is what I do for the kids each has drawer full of one kind of sock.DH the same. Easy to match.
Thinking to make tree skirt and matching placemats as gifts for xmas this year. If I start now I should be sitting with feet up and relaxing by Thanksgiving. haha
DH makes the bread in the machine . I can not seem to make a good loaf. So we had fresh bread on Sunday. YUM
Betty which e-reader did you get?Nook or Kindle??????
Laura, we should edge each other on to make sure we keep to our wanting to make a tree skirt..sent you pattern as well. All this talk of homemade bread making my mouth watering so will definately stop by and pick up new container of yeast. I keep my flour in the freezer because I don't use a whole lot of it and don't want the bugs that can grow in it so I have to decide the day before I want to make it so the flour can warm up..
