I certainly hope she will listen to someone who can help her? Just one question - how is Jake handling this? It must be difficult for him too. Dianne, you sure can tell you've had experience in these manners..very well said! Think Dianne you sent me the snow, just started up again..drats and more drats..feeling the cold today, it will be home, hot bath and nightie before 6pm and a quiet evening..always say that don't I then company comes, telephone rings or I think up something to do, tonight though nada...nope...short day tomorrow thank goodness. Guess with the holidays Dianne reports take longer to get to the doctor's office, hope they show the best results ever.

Barb never thought of Jake standing up for his sister...so many variables one forgets when they no longer have young ones. How are you doing today, weather co-operating, still sewing or just relaxing..

Judy so sorry Sabrina is having to go through this. Dianne great idea. If it is not already hard enough to get a good education kids have to put up with @#$% like that.Sorry it gets under my skin when young people are so cruel. Hugs to Sabrina.

Oh my Betty some of those are really funny.
I just mailed out my last finished quilt today . It is only 6 days late .
I sew some clothes for the kids and other stuff but really enjoy quilting.
Started working on next Christmas. Would like to make tree skirts looking for patterns.
No snow this time. Waiting.........

((((Judy))))) You are doing 100% everything right....and your daughter needs to report them. This is the same thing my Shannon went thru last year her first college experience. We had to get police involved also, she needed escorts around campus as the girls were threatening her.

Laura, I'll get my quilting books out and look to see if I can find a pattern or two for you, know I saw a few when I was browsing before, now to find them again...am sure you'll hear the ooooh's and ahhhh's when the package is received..which did you send them?

Debbie, how are you doing tonight? Thought of you all day, did you feel the hugs..I remember you telling us about Shannon..do you think the schools are aware of such group of children and just feel as though there is nothing they can do?

Betty - some of those jokes really are the truth. They are funny. I'll share them with Tubby a little later. He is eating supper right now. Funny how as a person gets older they don't think the snow is so great. I think as we get older and wiser and think how precious life is. The ice troubles me more. I know how important the snow is for moisture. I know the farmers here had a great season due to all the snow last winter. Just can't have it all.
Laura - The quilt is beautiful. I wish I had a picture of the Cathedral quilt that my Mom made. It is all done by hand. My DS in Mo. got that one since it was Queen size. I need a King. I talked her in to doing some shams to match. I know she had never got them done and I don't think she has worked on my quilt for a year or so. I need to have her show me how to do it, so if she never gets it finished I can. I always said that I would do that someday when I get old and retire. Funny, it's getting closer all the time.
Judy - my heart truly goes out to you. Kids are so cruel and when you listen to the news and see what they can cause other ones to do, I want to ring those parents neck of the ones that are mean. I don't believe those kids are just mean at school, they must show that side of themselves at home also. Either their parents don't care or don't want to deal with it. Some think it is okay. I'm not sure how we kids to understand that no one is any better and life is too short. God be with you.
Debbie - How are you doing and Shannon? I know you will be hobbling around for a while. You both take care and hope all gets well.
Tubby didn't eat alot, but he promised he would drink another Ensure before bed time. Well, I will check later. I'm gonna work on some mending and taking the labels off prescription bottles so the vet can have them. That way they don't go to waste in the garbage.See ya!

Laura, been through 1/2 my quilt books, so far I've found 2 tree skirts..could send you colored photo and instructions if you like either or both of them
