- Very windy this am with gusts of up to 41 mph, supposed to stay windy & cloudy for the rest of the day. Expected high of 39°, but the wind will make it feel like 28°, snow showers possible anytime.

Nothing here, thank you God very much! It's 27 but the wind is roaring.....dogs are very nutty acting just like the kids used to be on a windy day.......I wish there was a Mary Poppins for dogs!

Got the wood all stacked in the hearth, DH tuned up the generator just in case, have candles ready.... so let it snow!

Driving in it I don't like....would rather stay home and we own (3) 4-wheel drive vehicles!!

I can say... on these kind of days... I feel bad for Michele's hubby... she is binging off the walls with worry.. I drive all day at work... if it's bad enough I just call in sick... no need to get sick over snow .. I just don't get it

My DIL went back to Maine a few minutes ago.....should be ahead of the storm.....my stepson is staying until Mon. evening, so he could help both his mother & me, in case we need it......I just hope it's cleared up by the time I have to go to NH.......

(My trip to the in-laws is canceled, driving conditions will be hazardous and visibility expected to be Zero. - White Out!)

28 and flurries. DH got called in for snow plow as the wind is blowing snow over the roads at work. Cedar Point keeps the road clear for the residents near it.

When you live in New England you have to be ready to bear the punches of the weather and lights out. That why we are called New Englanders as we have big shoulders.

Same here - blizzard warning. Snowing and blowing already. Less than an inch so far.

Whoa - don't like to hear "blizzard"....hope you guys stay safe and warm! We actually lost power from 1:00am until 6:00 am this morning from the heavy winds, which are really whipping right now. Not so bad with the temps in the 60s though at the moment. We will be in the 30s tonight with a hefty wind chill, so out come the covers for the 2,350 impatiens I just planted. LOL

WC - so sorry your trip to the in-laws got cancelled. :) Darn it, now you have to stay home all warm and snuggy and enjoy looking at the snow instead of driving in it. I know you must be really bummed. lol

Yeah, it was a bummer Louise, I hope I get bummed like that every Christmas! (lol!) The way it's snowing I wont be digging out until tomorrow afternoon!
