Mmmm, nice hearty meals.....chicken stirfry here. Have loads of fun, Pixie, & hope you get to see Kassia!
What's on the menu today??
Sounds like practice for thanksgivings Sherrie! Enjoy!
Pizza Night tonight! - w/ sausage ☺
I went, looked....and NO Kassia! She didn't come, unless it was a different crafts fair and I missed read her post. :(
Oh, disappointing! Hope you had fun though, & bought some cool stuff.....
Had fun looking, but it was not worth the time...Kassia is lucky... she didn't miss anything! LOL
Had a picture of this sitting on the table as i've been thinking about making it for the Christmas party. It's a Crown Roast Stuffed w/Wild Rice Stuffing, very tender and yummy but I haven't made it in a long time.
When i got home from the crafts fair on the table I found a piece of paper... one of Brian's buddies wrote me a note.
"When are you making this? Please let me know and set an extra plate at the table please." LMAO!!!!
wow does that look yummy
It's another way for me to have ribs! LOL That picture shows it with a bread stuffing which isn't bad but I like the wild rice mixture in it better.
that does look good, though I don't like ribs.
lasagna with sauce from the last batch of tomatoes saved from frost that finally turned red
You're lucky they turned, Bill. I made pickled green tomatoes from mine. Today we had pork cutlets with orange sauce, applesauce, corn, green beans & salad. Pixie, I haven't done a crown roast in a million years, but they are yummy!
Steaks on the grill. (flame broiled, lol!)
Corn on the cob, baked potato, & chocolate cake for dessert.
Yum WC!
(no ice cream today, just worked off 2ounces raking the backyard, want to stay slim until tomorrow.)
(lol)
I made a london broil on the grill yesterday... today leftovers
Sounds good, y'all.
Had the BEST Chinese food near our hotel in Arlington VA. Then had a wonderful meal at Legal Seafood the next night.
Tonight is Women's Fellowship at the church....it's usually pot luck, but because this week is our bazaar & dinner, we are treating ourselves to pizza....and since I'm on the clean up committee, we'll be eating off paper plates tonight!
That's the way to do it Robin.
I doing something with beef cubes....beef stroganoff maybe???
Marinated pork.
whiting, a salad, broccoli,
and hot chocolate! (not a good match but it was good!)
I made a "stouch" a mixture of stew/soup/chili......cannellini beans, chunky steak pcs, celery, tomato and chili type spices
That actually sounds good! Tonight, stirfry pork & asparagus over rice.
Hubby said it was a keeper.
Doing something with chicken
Randy's co worker has a 2nd job at the outback... he brought them a huge case of ribs that would normally get tossed at the end of the day... that's what I had tonight.. gotta love free!!!.. you know all those ribs are pre cooked and just heated to order
Nice!
they were really good too
:)
Great deal!
I ended up making chicken parm
Allison, you know im jealous!! LOL
Copout meal tonight - hot dogs!
Salmon, sweet potatoes, and green-wax bean mix.....Brian cooked. ^_^
nothing wrong with a hot dog!!!... and Celeste you know I didn't have to work or pay for that dinner.. it tasted even better!!!
Leftovers....but I'm hankering for a hot dog with chili sauce since I read your post, Victor!
mmmmmm, when I worked closer to the shore had to make an annual trek the The Windmill...the BEST chili dogs
I never cared for hot dogs, except maybe white hots on occasion
Spaghetti with the ceci bean tomato sauce!
I would like that....trying to eat more vegetarian meals....however, our little town's hangout restaurant is serving turkey dinner for lunch today....I'll be there!
Kids get the turkey meal at school today.
Ooooh, yes....I'm very familiar with the school cafeteria. I must say that the food has improved a whole lot since I began teaching, I know the food is fresher & tastier now.....not the creamed tuna on toast that was served to kids when I was on cafeteria duty!
ewwwww, creamed tuna!!!
Yes, & the comments were "Who ate this before?" It was usually dumped, uneaten, in the trash.....but the schools at that time relied on government surplus, so I guess they received a lot of tuna....not being a fish eater, I was always hoping they wouldn't serve it when I was on duty!
