Amazing, the other team they played against..Owen Sound came in a coach, entire things airbrushed..one sec

Back..lol..re the coach the Owen Sound players came in which is a 2 1/2 hr. drive, well about 2 or 3 years ago they lost 5 young players in a car accident on the way to a game, so now it's mandatory that every game held outside the community the youth must go by coach..lordy you should have seen this coach..nicest I've ever seen airbrushed..all team hockey players on the sides, can't see windows for the design..
I AM SO Laughing, Kyle is here and decided he'd help, so let him cut on the saw, traced a little snowman, he just yelled out to my the angel head is 5" large..lol then trying to fix he's almost got the head cut off..figure with boxes of scraps if he's interested he can practice that way one day grandma will just have to say, need some wood cut Kyle!!!
Hi Betty,
I'd like to try this craft! No experience---will just muddle through. I'm inspired by all the pics of past years. Let me know if it's too late. Thanks, Lee
Lee, not too late at all, I'll just go into the work shop and cut one for you..
you'll enjoy the chit/chat as much as the project once we start going..lol..there is no doubt that you will end up having a Christmas "Treasure" to either enjoy or give away!
Meant to say "HAPPY HALLOWEEN"
Kyle last night said 'grandma, don't you think you should get through Halloween before you start your Christmas decorations..'
Told him it was all your fault!
Happy Halloween to you too,Today would have been my moms 85th birthday...
Ahhh, no tears, share a 'happy thought' with us if you can..
Coffee time, getting to the end of my wood pile, sawdust is making me thirsty! getting there though...
Betty-thanks-do you want me to send you a check, MO or PP?? LMK please. I am up in St. Louis while everyone else is sleeping-had to feed Jonathan a bit ago and after that 5am feed, it is hard for me to go back to sleep at 6am...
Thank you all for your thoughts...
I think for mine, I am going to do the ground in a very pale blue-almost white, and the trees in silver and gold (you know I have to be different)...do you think that will work for tree colors??
OH yes ,it dosent make me sad anymore, just thinking what a fun day to have a birthday !!
It's your piece Stacey and I'm sure it would look pretty...can make it match any decor, that's what is fun about it..it is better if it's either cash or U.S. postal order..
Well all the cutting is done, talk about dust city in that cutting room, off to clean it up and then have a bit of work to do outside before the snow falls, drats, why didn't I take the pump out of the pond BEFORE now, yikes it will be cold me up to my waiste in water...brrrrr...
Wow, Betty...I am now very excited to do this!
Be careful, and take a warm shower or bath as soon as you are done playing in the water!
Put about 1/2 of the garden treasures away that didn't get done a few weeks ago, Greg, Kyle and Noah are on their way to take the top of gazebo and lift a few things I'm unable to do, reversed the pump to drain water which means if I'm lucky with my rubber boots on I should only get up to my knee wet..
Won't do major overhaul in the cutting room because after the Hamburg craft show Debbie and my finding a few pieces for my workshops here I'll be cutting mega time..always wait until after that cutting is done to do the big clean up!
When I went out into the back shed noticed some wood pieces that never got done, should cut them up somewhat and bring them to you, if you are going to do one you might as well do 2 /3/4/5/6+ lol better in your house than mine.
Then in the back forest to see what branches I could find the the arms/feet for that extra piece I was going to include, that might be a shore, well see...only so much one can do in one weekend right as it's too dark to go out after work..maybe that could be a job for Rose....
Wow Betty! I can't wait, I have all those paints left over from the snowman last year. I have the snowman around here somewhere... maybe I'll finish Victorian Santa this year LOL LOL LOL LOL
Betty, your dear grandson has the most amazing smile! He is my hero in so many ways, I just admire him totally! Between his helping others the way he does, and outgoing personality...he is a winner all the way around.
Did you see I posted the address for Hobby Lobby. Might have been over on your craft thread....I get so confused and lost even on threads. Do they have a GPS thread locator? Lol
Hobby Lobby
2090 George Urban Blvd.
Depew, NY 14043
(716) 686-0114
Thank you, Kyle is special and THEY say he's the one who is challenged, I should be so lucky!
Will check out the address, Debbie, can't be too far from the Cracker Barrell could it if it's in Depew?
Betty, that one I have no idea! let me do a google
Better check my roast..want to make t.v. dinners
Pond is emptying in hopes I won't have to go in freezing cold water up to my waiste..must check it before I burn out the pump for not watching..
Want to paint..lol
Hailing outside! Drats...
Ohh another place to shop..lol
DH's birthday today too, hugger. :-)
I don't know how far I'll get with this project because my days are not my own, but I think I would like to have the kit and try to get something going at least. Can't beat the price and the personal tutoring!
Do I still have time to join in, Betty? Chris and hugger have convinced me. ;-) I know, I know, Chris, you are doing this for yourself.
Hi everyone.
You've been a busy bee, Betty, and I don't mind a bit sanding my kit. Your payment will be in tomorrow's mail.
Carole, yes you can join..cut a few extra's JUST in case.
Halloween is over, about 75 trick or treaters, got to tell you some left their MANNERS at home..
Gave out a mini chocolate bar, bag of chips and a pepsi or coke or ginger ale...some tykes said they didn't like my kind of pop, others asked for 2nds and some came twice..
Older kids without costumes (my pet peave) when asked what they were they said homeless, one said a drug addict (wouldn't doubt it) but the majority had nice costumes..
Tired tonight so off to bed I go..
Betty-I will get you the postal MO as soon as I get a chance to go there when I have someone with me-a pain to take Jonathan out of the car for a quick trip-My SIL will be at my house this next weekend, so I will try to get it on Saturday. I will let mom know and see if she wants to write me a check and then I can send them both together.
Iam kind of glad we dont have trick or treaters,I wouldnt like the rude bigg kids ...I dont mind sanding either Betty.
cville ,didnt realize 31st was your dhs bday,Happy Birthday to him.We got a bit of frost laast nite sounds like this week will be the end of whats left blooming.
Morning, still can't warm up, fingers frozen, temps must have dropped substantialy during the night, it's 31 right now, not sure the office furnace is up to par as it's cold inside so I put the micro furnace next to my desk on and am just starting to warm up..
As for rude trick or treaters I'm sure their parents would be shocked if they knew of their behavior; could give them the benefit of the doubt and say that perhaps they were out on Halloween PLAYING the part of a rude child, how's that for positive thinking!
Got the bright idea that I would bring a kit into my post office to see how much $$$ to send, pick Liz in California as it would be the kit that cost the most to ship out, well, hands on mouth, went ahhhh...it was $23.76 and that was the cheaper way so for sure I'll have to have my boxes done and ready to ship by Thursday night so I can take all of them with me.. $10.70 + tax is wayyyy cheaper BUT I'd better check weight restrictions..had cut out an extra project, might have to take it out of the box..lol..
Well, from what I see on their site except if I've read it wrong, no weight restriction (providing not over 70lbs.-hey, not sending gold bars..lol)
Doesn't say though anything about if it includes taxes or not?? do any of you know, I'm trying to see what I have to bring with me state-side in order to post
Carole say Happy Belated Birthday to DH for me!
I don't get trick or treaters either and I'm still not used to it. We watched Practical Magic, then flipped between the baseball game, football games, and Van Helsing.
Sounds as though you had a restful evening Crissy!
Please box up some of your sunshine/heat and send it my way, so cold I can't even feel my fingers yet..
OK, sign me up then, Betty. I'll put the payment in the mail today or tomorrow.
No additional taxes on the shipping cost. If you are using the Flat-rate Priority boxes, it's whatever you can fit in them up to 70 lbs for $14.50, I think it still is for the largest size. Easy-peasy. Delivery confirmation is an additional .70.
Thanks, crissy, I will tell him ... now what I want to know is if you ever had any birds at your feeder??? :-)
Thanks too, hugger. See you posted the pictures and here I am. :-)
Knew I would be working late this week on our projects, packaging, yikes, didn't the girls just ask me to confirm with everyone if it was ok for us to leave Thursday night rather than early Friday morning..best I recharge..
Thanks for the info..think I have about 4 or 5 of the boxes, I'll make sure the rest are pkg'd to fit
the 2nd project I'm sending you will have a pattern with it, I'm hoping all will attempt to put their own creativity in it..lol, if you run into trouble I can always help...
LOL most of the seed was on the ground Saturday but Dave might have done that. I still haven't seen any birds at it but I do know now that the birds did leave, they're starting to resurface again. I need to go buy some new and different seed for it.
Betty you know this group and the creativity that can happen here....
Is it still $20 for the project? Is that enough??
Yes, it will cover the shipping and wood! Time I spent on cutting and pkg. is my Christmas gift to you..
Your part is sending $$$ as soon as you can to help with shipping...
How's that
Yep, today or in the morning at the latest. :-)
Managed to get the labels written out, yikes, handwritting is terrible, should have typed..lol
