OK, wood ordered, they close at 5:30 so no way I'll make it there today but tomorrow now I'm off at 3:00 so plenty of time to get to Midland before closing..things go according to plan by Saturday night all the kits ordered to date will be cut..piece of cake..lol

By Sunday morning who knows might have one done so I can show you..they are cute..just trying to remember how I did them all those years ago...lol..

Knew I should not have brought craft books into the office with me..I saw this primitive piece and IF I have lumber left (means I'll have to be careful with placement of pieces-just like material) lol I'll include this piece..has tree limb branches for legs..cute..

Lordy, got to love those young men at Timbrr, not just the young ones, all the staff are just the nicest guys/girls to work with, keep buying things just so I can visit..

When I got down to the lumber yard Leo asked why 2 boards would be put through the playner, said for trees and snowmen of course, he and the other guys always want to know what I'm making, Leo took me to the shop and showed me planking that was just perfect...said he'd include some extra planks, then on my way out Jerome through a few more planks lol so I've plenty to work with..wish shipping wood wasn't so expensive because I'd ship you all extra projects..lol

I have to make the 1st set from memory so being careful not to waste any wood, one never knows what can be made from a piece of board???

Well, got the initial one cut so I can trace and be ready for a morning of cutting..looked at some of the leftovers and thought if I put the saw's table on an angle I could cut out dimentional trees for you as a bonus...

But, if I'm alone all evening might just make the for me..lol

Crissy glad you dropped by as well, drats, here I'm cutting and nobody to keep me company, now I have you both...

After cutting everything in the morning will try to paint one up so you can see..

Betty-I am pretty sure mom and I would like a set each. To save you some $$ you can ship them both to me if you want. Grandpa died yesterday so we are all going to St. Louis today and Mom is already there. Can I mail you a check after I get back or do you have a PP address I can send $$ to?? Sorry-I didn't see the thread in time to get the $$ out sooner and with the death things are kinda all turned around right now. We won't be back until Tuesday night....PLMK.

Yay Chris!!!! Pepsi! I quit drinking Pepsi a few years ago, I was addicted, the carbonation was rotting my teeth, and the syrup added 10 pounds to my weight. I'll take coffee any day, but only 2 cups, and only in the mornings. After that I'm drinking water or iced tea.

Stacey I'm so sorry for your families loss, and very glad your joining in here!

Debbie I highly doubt it will be anything to laugh at. If at all like me you'll end up with this masterpiece that you'll be gawking at for years while thinking, "I made that???" LOL

Cutting away so of course you can join us and am sure that you'll not only get it done but will get last year's done as well..remember I'm always here if you want to get it started, I can put you on the straight and narrow..

LOL big time, everyone comes and goes in my house, I've friends who drop in to let the furries out, bunch who use my studio for painting purposes etc.etc. so I guess they were out in the back shed the other day and saw that my PRESSURE (possum) Washer was there and there is no heat so left me a reminder that freezing time is close by..which reminds me, best I find a place for it this weekend...

Darlene just dropped by to pick up some of the Ott-lites, visited for awhile and while she was here Greg called, wanted me to go have brreakfast with he and the family, bowed out, he couldn't understand why? lordy, got things to do,besides, I had breakfast at 4:30a.m. not when half the day is over..lol, then he said Noah wants me to go to his hockey game at 1:10, got to do that, said they'd all come over and do some winterizing of outside furniture/gazebo, that's a bonus and then he went on the remind me the the Fright Shack my brother and SIL put on every year is a must and they'll pick me up at 6:30pm..

Guess plans change but I'm plugging right along..have 10 sets cut, not bad for 11am. (don't tell anyone I was up half the night though); will have some wood left over, know those flat rate boxes are a set price but their is a weight attached to it as well I believe, so before I get too ambitious and share more crafts with you all, better see what the weight limit is..

While I'm working the t.v. is on, not much except horror movies but I'm watching one with the Bowery Boys, some of you will be too young to know who they are,lol, and cannot believe at any time in my life I'd have spent money to go to the theatre to watch their movies, know I did! Shaking my head..

With coffee in hand, will start 2nd half of the projects.

It was amazing the last years, even though we ALL did same project not one look alike, either eyes were looking up, or down, or color, or, or, or....so one of a kind..
