Yep, I just called my Sister, and she said it has passed her house for now! She said the winds were really bad! But no damage done!

our storm was nothing much. we got just the tail end of it in our area. Most ofther places got hit harder.
my dearest friend Geo got his gazebo hit hard.

Kim/Dimmer got her basement flooded, she posted pictures of her pulling up carpet on facebook!

Oh NO!! I miss Kim, need to find her on FB and friend her.

Working, well, for some odd reason I have two property tax payments taken out of my bank account for slightly different amounts, I called the county and the guy I spoke to was more than helpful and asked me to fax in my bank statement so they could figure out what's going on. I need some money so I'm calling them to get an update of what's happening.

Goodness, that is not good, hope you get it fixed soon!

Me too. I'm trying to be patient because I know it's going to take more than a week for them to figure out, we're wondering if someone's payment went onto my account and since my county is the second most populated it might take a while to figure that out, if it can be figured out before late notices go out.

Crissy, I do hope you get reimbursements. Did you authorize the county for the auto withdrawals? I'm so afraid for mistakes like this, that's why we always make payments in person.

I got hit by a virus last night. Since the last clean up, each time I try to open a Yahoo page, it always warn me of 'operation aborts' and when I "X" it out, the page downloads. I told Kel it's not normal and to bring it back to the shop. Which of course, he never did. This only happen with Yahoo.
Last night, a Trojan Horse warning comes up, and it's not from my anti virus program. Couldn't do ctrl, alt, delete as you guess it right.. it spawns itself.
So.. I turned it off.. and when I log back.. there it is.. big on the screen.
I turned it off for an hour.. waited for Kel to return. He turned it back on and the 'warning' is still there, but he worked behind that pop up and do a restore. Whew.. that worked.

Since the weather's beautiful.. think I'll take advantage of it... going to the thrift stores and see what gems I can find for crafts.

I payed my half a year property tax online, so I approved one of them! It doesn't matter anyway, they can't keep both payments for half a year, unless they put one of those to next years property tax and that would be fine with me.

I hope Jaye pays attention to the weather, she's in a severe storm area and that front is still coming at her and still spawning some tornadoes.

Darn darn darn tornadoes and viruses, and ........ other things!! My dear sistahs (and bruddah Tubby) - I wish only the best for you, but the Lord will give us what HE thinks we can take/need.

Crissy, I've been following the weather report, and so far only the western mountainous regions are affected. Bonjon is in Raleigh, hope she's okay.
Seems that the line will be going eastwards and on to the Spartansburg, SC area.
Don't like tornadoes.. not prepared for it.. and if storms were to hit.. I hope they're not treacherous.

I hope she's ok too. LOL I don't like tornados either but then again, I haven't met anyone who does. LOL I'm prepared for it I suppose, as prepared as one can be I guess. I hope they're not treacherous too.

Jaye, if I were you, I would avoid anythihg to do with yahoo! They have always had complanints about virus' on the pages! I never go to yahoo!

Got a major tree branch Dangling and swaying in front of house, cleared the area just in case, and praying it stays where it is till Dh gets home to take it down...Man first time in ages, I am scared! Putting Birdie in Breenie"s room.

Heard from my oldes DD. she says she is moving to Ohio ? ........ pulling her tricks and no treats that one is. Very stressed if she moves over here. I told her she has to live 200 Miles away and don't show up at my door. I won't tollerate her crazyness.

As long as she posted somewhere so we know she's alright is good enough for me. I had forgotten that she has family visiting. Why do you feel like such a bad friend? You shouldn't, I have friends in CA who I haven't called in over a year. Talk about feeling bad!

I'm sorry...didn't mean to make anyone worry. Yes...had the kids here from Florida until Sunday afternoon...then Bill's nephew until Tuesday morning...Monday had to take mom for a colonoscopy and that's really why I've not been posting.

They found a mass in her cecum which is a pouch at the beginning of the large intestine. They took 4 biopsies. The Dr. wants a C-scan to rule out cancer. Well, yesterday the Dr. called and wants to see us at 1:10 today. My mother asked if it was bad news and the Dr. said, "I don't want to discuss it with you on the phone"....so I'm having a really hard time right now. I didn't mention the C word to my folks on Monday when the Dr. said she wanted the cat scan cause I knew that they would just worry themselves to death...well, looks like I didn't get to save them much worry since we go today to hear what she says. Anyway...prayer warriors....I and my family could really use you right now!

Tried to call you yesterday Jaye.....guess you must have been out and about.....

Sending my most heartfelt prayers to you and your family. Drs won't discuss anything on the phone anymore. Someone told me it is because of their contracts with the ins companies. If you go to the office, insurance can be charged. The more you go, the more you pay... and on and on and on......

Boy you have the right about insurance Barb!!!! Inspite of having in house doctors at the rehab center, Mom's other doctors insist on seeing her every two weeks. Of course their orders are not followed as the Rehab doctors take precedence. That sure doesn't stop the billing of Medicare nor the supplements---vicious cycle.

Cookie, know I am there with you at this time. I realize I haven't been a very good friend nor sistah lately. I am guilty of getting involved in my own problems and have failed to stay in contact with others who mean so much to me. Prayers and hugs for you, Mom and Dad. BTW if you have an itchy spot on your shoulder today, that is me giving you support and love.

You just keep safe, glad tornado's don't touch down by you...I am proud of you for not getting "freaked" out!! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers....if this is cancer... I'm going to be awfully mad at her family Dr.....she's had this diarrhea for MONTHS.... didn't even suggest she see someone else....we finally had to take the step without his involvement.

We went through the same thing in regards to family doctor. I'm sending extra prayers that this is something that can handled quickly and completely......
