Whee, I was beginning to think I made you mad with what I did on yours. LOL I just couldn't help myself --especially with Kel's ice cream.

Jaye, I am not even sure I want to be involved as a consultant. There are many things that have happened and I just think it best I quit "cold turkey". Time will tell.

I don't think the biggest issue from here on will not be Mom but my sister's acceptance of the situation. I will be going back November 2 for a week or so, then home for Grandparents day at school, Kim's birthday and then we both will go down for Thanksgiving.

Whew, we have a record temperature for this date of 101! It is hot!!!

it's 34F here right now. It Was a couple of degrees warmer earlier, but then it snowed earlier, too! Snow is all gone, of course. Too early to have Permanent snow LOL

i made hambergers. I have done it the same way for 20 yrs. just a tiny red in middle but i use two spatulas. one for raw and one for cooked. Guess who got them mixed up ? ..... uh.... me :(

I could use a little snow about now--it is one hot day today. Funny thing we were under a tornado watch until 3 this afternoon. No bad weather that I could tell--atleast not here.

Also did a really dumb thing--went to take a load of recycle outside and though I had the door unlocked--WRONG!!! So from 3:30 until my daughter got home about 5 I worked outside. Not planned but when you have lemons you might as well make lemonade.

Sue sorry to hear you aren't feeling well tonight. Trust me, I will find plenty to do now that I am not involved with the festival. This means this spring when everyone else is putting in plants and working on beds, I can to as there will be no paper work, no proofing of a program, not booth assignments to get out--you have the picture. The best part when Kim gets her spring break we can actually make plans to do something.

Sue - we Don't get 6' of snow. That would be Winnipeg, where I last lived.
Here in Calgary, we mostly just sweep the snow off. Of course every year is different, and sometimes we DO get "dumped on". We'll have to see what this year brings. Even so, Chinooks will melt the snow, and we could have t-shirt & short weather in the middle of January...... won't last long, but it's sure nice when we DO have Chinooks ^_^

My oldest DD is in FL she was in Hollywood but as far as i know ??? no idea where she is at . ? she travels like a gypsy. brrrrr Marion - if I were "stuck" outside for an hour and 1/2, I would be getting in the car and going some place warm for a hot chocolate or coffee...... The other day when I went for an interview and as I was leaving the house I realized I had my spare set of car keys but not the originals and certainly Not my house keys. Our realtors have our spare house keys (our neighbours normally do....) and as I was going to an interview on the other side of town 30 blocks from where my DH works, I had him bring me his set to where I was, so I could get into the house. Interview was @ 8:30, and he finishes work @ 5. I Was Not going to wait that long LOL

aha - ov Course. Now that my DH's not self-employed, I tend to forget things like this. Glad I do, too.
Taxes were the bane of my existence and "I don't wanna go there no more!!" We're still "dealing" with them from him previously having been self-employed...

We were in a tornado watch at 4:00am this morning and I didn't know it until I woke up with the house popping and hearing a HUGE gust of wind outside at 5am, I grabbed my phone and I had a tornado watch text that came in at 4am and I didn't know it! How odd is that for me? LOL

Yikes, tornadoes all over the place. I jst heard on the news, one touched down in wisconsin, and in Indiana.
Then the poor people in Indonesia, first an earthquake, then the people were told, don't worry, there will be no sunami. Well guess what happened, they had a sunami, and now the volcano starting to rumble! Sending lots of prayers to all in Indonesia!

Oh yikes LK... my brother's in Indonesia...and it seems he might be okay as the family hasn't rung me up yet.

OMG it's a line of tornados!!!! I count 24 warnings out right now from Lansing, MI all the way down to north central MS!! Its an outbreak!!

This is her, it's by JT and the reason he named it WM, 'cause this wild child is supposed to be a double, but WILL do a triple, as you all can see from the third one coming down and sometimes a quadruple too!! Then the blooms unfurled 'rowdily'!! Petals are NOT uniform and the twangs are thrown every which way!!
Last year, this did a quadruple for me and I was surprised it didn't break off from the plant.
Took the photo this morning after the rains. Thank you Lord for one wretched beauty!

No, it passed me this morning between 6:30 and 7:30 this morning when I was getting ready for work. We were in a tornado watch and we had one HUGE gust of wind that made the house pop, then rain, but not even a flash of lightning. There's no damage in Central Arkansas, it came over before the sun came up.

Jaye LOVE the brug!! I can't remember if Janice moved from Lansing or moved to Lansing LOL! Stacey's up there, Judy's up there, Cookie and my Sweet Sister Sue is between Cincinnati and Dayton that also had mass tornado warnings around them, the line of storms has moved past them now, I hope everyone's ok, I see Sue has posted! :)

Praying all in the path of this storm are safe and sound! My Sister in in Grand Rapids, MI. I need to call them and see if they are OK!
