Susan did not know what a brug was until I started listening to all talk here about them. So I will need to see if I can get my hands on some.My back yard is full sun will that work?
♥♥ Sweet Interruptions ♥♥ 202
Full sun or part shade, it all depends on the angel trumpet. Most of us will put it in a pot, and move it arund the yard, till you find it, it's happy spot! Place it in your yard, and leave it there for a few days. Now keep in mind, they don't like to dry out eiher, so you will have to keep them moist, but not wet! Once you find it's happy spot, then you can dig a hole and plant it there, or place it in a bigger pot, so it can grow!
I have my raised be in the front yard, and it gets full son from about 2 or so in the afternoon! But I have a soaker hose on them, and they keep moist all the time. I have also placed water sorb crystals at the root, when I planted them.
Mine are in full sun, yes out in the extreme heat we got here over the summer, they wilt during the hottest part of the day but by evening they're looking like that, you just have to be sure and water them, they are somewhat aquatic. I have these orange and black beetles on mine that have eaten them big time, don't know what the beetle is, have never seen it before and haven't had a problem with them over the past 2 years, the heat must have brought them, and an infestation of grasshoppers of all varieties, and the biggest acorns I have ever seen!
Funny thing is in china you don't get much info ? they have evacuated two provinces on the island but not his ? yea i know ? weird ? so maybe he will be at the tail end not near the eye of it ?
so he gets most of his info from googling american news on the computer.
well i m eating GUmmy tarantulas LOL yummy
here is a question. for you
"if you found your husbands wedding ring from his previous wife in your truck what would you do with it ? " this is hypothetical of course.
just curious.
I'd take it to a pawn shop or jewelery store or wherever and sell it for gold since gold is at such a good price right now.
I want to pinch his cheeks he's so darn cute!!!
Oh Stacey, that is so adorable!
I agree, if I did not throw it away, I would go pawn it, and never say a word! Extra money in your pocket!
Stacey!!! Jonathan has your chin!!!
Oh how I wish I could just pick him up and hug him oodles of times!!
I could never throw away real gold, but I could certainly sell it! Craigslist!!
We sold Bob's old wedding ring a couple of months ago - new it was $800+. Only sold for $35............ the diamond chips were "throw aways" they said - couldn't even make a decent pair of earrings out of them...... What a rip-off!!
Jonathan is adorable!!
Diamond chips are worth nothing, especially if they're flawed which most of them are. I'm going to sell Dave's wedding ring from his first marriage when gold prices top out, I told him to just let me know and we'll do it. That's still $35.00 more in your pocket then you had before! Go out to dinner!
hahahaha we did that, a couple of months ago, when we sold it, and that's what we figured - it was $35 we didn't have before..... ^_^
How long have you been married Sue?
Oh good Sue, how are they doing? I know Robyn lost her sister unexpectedly. Tell them hi for me and give Robyn a big big hug.
Sue, give Ric and Robyn a gimongous hug for me pleeeeeze.
Now you could get some manure from the sale of that useless band!! That will be poetic justice!!
Good night sweet sistahs.
Yes, Sue, I thought as much about your call...I went to the funeral home last night. Robyn is doing pretty good, but she knows that today will be the hard day.
He told me they're planning on coming Sat. and then stopping by here for the bonfire before heading back home. Said you guys are planning on coming too....yay! Will they be coming back on Sunday? I'm having another trough class on Sunday....1:30...so far think I have 3 ladies coming.
WELLLLLLL...an unexpected hard freeze last night....I'm hoping the heat from the bricks at the end of the house have saved the plumeria and brugs....guess I'll know later when I get back from exercise!
Interview today........ best get ready.
I popped on to print out some of my paperwork to take with me to the interview......
Lots of luck today Susan! Let us know when you start your new job!
LOL will do, Linda, will do......... LOL
Susan good luck to you!!!
Sending prayers Susan....
---and the perfect salary too, Susan!!!!!!!!!! Go get it sistah!
This was part of an email, from a sweet, sweet sistah ;)
It hits home hard...
"Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back"
So, from now on, I'll get mad wisely!!!
Thank you sweetie!!
Gosh, I hope your tropicals are okay, Cookie.
Went for my interview this morning, and asked when they'd make a decision "by end of next week" Then I asked what my "standing" was and they said, based on answers I gave, I am a strong candidate.
4 weeks vacation per year.......!! Then they asked the "64 dollar question" which I didn't like, and they said no one does:
"What would you expect for a remuneration"...... I told them a joke about the last time I was asked that, then asked for $5k more than my last job. That's likely low-balling myself, as it's an Executive Assistant position...... but, I'll find out on Friday.......
siiiiiiiiiigh
btw - the building Isn't where I interviewed (25 min drive away), it's 5 MIN drive away - they're moving buildings!! how kewl is that????
Oh Susan...I so hope this is the one!!!
Stacey...he is just a little clone of you! Adorable!
LOL-not sure if I would go that far-but I like the pics too-we were laughing trying to get them B4 he got cold and there was a bus from a retirement home there waiting to disembark and they were watching us like hawks!!LOL I am sure several of them were saying how horrible we were to do that to a baby;)
Of Stacey, he is so cute! Looks like you all had a great time!
Sigh.......
oh no. frost came?do you have to take the hole tree in or just leave and will come back?
