Strange how God does things for His beloved.

His parents went looking for him this morning, asking the stores in town.
Most stores aren't open on Sunday and the ones that know about Hobo reopen today.
When they asked the Medicine Mart, the front clerk register told them she hadn't heard of a found dog. As they were about to leave.. the pharmacist assistant, whom we told about Hobo, ran up to them and gave them the good news.
Then when they came over to the shop, with Hobo's picture.... my heart sank.
And this gets weirder... Reese's (real name) mama, Jewel, used to come to our church, until she moved to Tabor.
AND.. we had met Reese when he was a month old, when we went to visit Jewel's brother who happened to raise Chihuahuas. We were admiring how lovely Reese was, and was told that Jewel had already wanted it!!!
The moment Reese fell into his mama's arms, you should see these two..they were deliriously happy. Reese couldn't stop licking his dad's face!!
They said that Reese did his outside business as usual and all of a sudden took off after another dog.
Bet they'll paper train him from now on.
Can you imagine that?? If Kel had not had to have a tire fixed in town, we won't have seen the dog... or it could have been dead.
Fell in love with Reese when he's a month old.. and a year later.. we rescued him.

Now the happiest creature in this house is Lola!! She got us back all to herself.. no more sharing of her ice cream and cookies!
We are just glad that at least we know who Reese belong to and we can visit him anytime..

Reese, eh? Well, I know his owners are happy to get him back.
Strange how he came into your lives not one, but two times!
Happy for Lola, too LOL

I've been to three interviews for Alberta Health positions. One - Oct 4th - called me back on Oct 13th and offered me a job, albeit casual (less pay than last job & no benefits). I held off on saying "yes" until I spoke to the other 2 I interviewed for (Oct 13, & 14th).
I did not get the job from Oct 13th, but was told I Would get the job from the 14th.
They have 4 positions available in HR. I didn't get 2 of them however they've passed my resume on to the other 2, and said they would be calling me this week (she told me that, on Friday, and some here thought I would have the job offer on Monday - M-F is still "this week".......). Cookie - I'll "believe it when I see it". In the meantime, I'm SEWING!

Finished one church sign today (Iron-on transfer, then put on wood backing).
Now I'm making two 4" binder covers, with the United Church emblem, and other wording. Sewing the cover, with iron-on transfer and applique for everything else.
Then I have a baby diaper holder to do (I FINALLY got the right fabric - had trouble with it that I won't go into.....).

No boxed mac n cheese here. When Kel has a craving, he just boil some pasta and stir in whatever cheese we have!!

Well...I have been a mighty busy bee, and Jaye..going to have to show you pics, took your advise, handed kids rakes, and bags, woohoo...We had a nice fire in the end of evening... Well, Aaron, was not able to get my tiller going, so today he come over, I rented a tiller, he tilled...oh good gracious, a ton of rocks!! Now I started sifting, not fun...LOL, even his mom came and helped! She was just adorable, found herself a heavy duty dust pan and began picking stones from the ground! I am so bummed, i forgot to take a pic of her.

Cookie-what great pics!! I LOVE Luke's tie!! And Chris helped a VERY little with our Bday present;) He provided the little swimmer and I did all the work!!LOL

Took Jonathan to the Dr yesterday and got him put on a different formula supposed to be gentle for his tummy-hopefully this will help with his digestion issues. I have felt so bad over the past few days-he draws his legs up and his face gets really red and he looks like he is in pain to pass gas or poop.....and he hasn't been pooping very much, so I know that has to be hard on his tummy too. He gained 10oz, so he is now at 7lbs, 11oz:) Then we went to a used baby store that was having a sale ($1 onesies, long or short sleeved, and 25% off everything else). Got some more bibs with small neck holes and some long sleeved clothes and a sweater:) My mom had a gift card to Ruby Tuesdays so we went there for an early dinner and then we went to Walmart. Going to try their diapers and wipes and see how they work out for us since they are much cheaper. Was going to get myself a couple of the $5 DVD's from the sale bin, but instead got Jonathan a NB outfit since a lot of his don't fit yet...
