Not much of a storm here....46, cloudy, but just a few puddles.....

Rain and wind over night but clearing a bit now. Wind should stay around next few days and chance of showers still today. Present temp is 47 with a gusty variable west wind. The higher elevations will get some of the "S" word tonight and Mt Washington has it now. Yuck. Depressing if you are not a skier.

(I've never been depressed by the weather, one of my SILs was prone to that so she moved to Hollywood Fla. Now she keeps the blinds & the windows closed because otherwise it gets too warm & humid the house

I was supposed to go out, did not want to go out, ended up not going out.

I had a shipment of red wigglers arrive yesterday to put in my compost pile,they were stressed but this rain and cool weather will get the wiggling.

What a wimpy nor'easter. Rained all the way up(about an hour) to a concert I was going to but when we got out no more rain and no wind, it wasn't even raining that hard. Very windy today, sun is out

Sunny but still very gusty and chilly. Steady 7-10mph wind with higher gusts from the NW. Current temp is 47 degrees. Sun is out with pretty blue skies and a few puffy clouds, a nice fall day if a bit cool. Highs only in the mid 50s. A sign of the times. High peaks in Vermont got a foot of you know what. I will gladly send all of my share for the winter up north where they like it and can make money off of it.

It's 47 here, quite cloudy & windy...upland game season started today, but have not been hearing any shots, so must be too windy for the hunters.....

60 and sunny. DD home on fall break. She goes back to school sun.

I don't know if it will get up to 60 or not. Certainly the wind makes working in the garden difficult.

great rainbow. The wind with gusts up tover 45 mph kept us out of the garden. I t looks like there will not be a warm Oct day to cut back siberian iris foliage, but it must be done.

thank goodness.. I will say the new hot glue gun I bought... WILL remove skin.. have to be careful with that one... there was smoke coming out of the tip... but hoping I can repair faster .. and stronger.. had to re glue a bunch of tombstones ... AGAIN

Oh yeah you have to be REAL careful with those glue guns.

the one we had before was a low temp one.. this one is a heavy duty one... no joke

I hope you don't have any accidents with it, losing skin can be painful.
(My DW would make me throw it away and use something else! lol!)

One of those oven gloves might be a good idea with that glue gun. The boys and their toys. My DH is currently playing with the hydraulic log splitter. Better that swinging a sharp ax I think at this stage of the game though.
Sunny and not as raw as yesterday thanks to much less wind. A few small branches fell about the yard from all the wind but not any real damage that I can see. Current temp is once again 47 degrees with a light SW breeze. Nice football weather.

Football is an inside watch game for me. Hope I have the energy to do the siberians today. At least the wind has died down.

Hey all. Back from a quick trip to Saugerties. Yesterday was nice. Windy, but nice. Colors were decent. I'd say they are about 5 or so days from peak.

temp did not get that high here. DH did a bit of weeding & I found it too chilly to work.
