Well at least it's just an x-ray...
Clouds are rolling in here.

Yes, everything with tooth was fine...big sigh of relief! Cloudy now, but at least the clothes dried on the line today.
Still have not had a frost here yet. 37 was the lowest. Anyone other than Celeste see frost yet??
Victor we (my area) did not gat a frost, as in killing frost...more of a almost frost! The Northern part of the State..yes, they have even seen some white stuff.
Oops - sorry!
56°, clouding up tonight
no frost here.
Hi everybody! We're here and getting moved back in and sorta settled. The weather is nice - sooo much better than last year when we arrived to 90s. It's 60ish in the morning and it go up to the low 80s this afternoon. I can't believe how HUGE many of my plants have gotten over the summer. Tomorrow I'll start whacking things back. The girls were very happy to get out of the car after 3 very long days. They were terrific, and we can see how much easier they are here now that they've grown up a little bit. They aren't into everything as they were when they were babies. They got to see lots of neighbor dogs after supper tonight, but they have not yet had a reunion with their sister. For some reason, I can't seem to kick the exhaustion, so I'm taking it slower for a bit. I want to just get us settled, but there's a lot more to do. Of course we had the usual snowbird issues from the house being closed up, so we had a plumber here today and now we are in a happier place. :) I can't believe those cold temps you guys are posting. I'm just so happy it isn't really hot here. Adjustment time!! Be back soon!
Andy - nice rainbow shot!
Hi Louise! Glad you made it safe and sound and I can only imagine how happy the girls were to be home finally!
Glad you had a good trip, Louise. The weather sounds ideal....of course the girls are being good....they're back in their original home!

low 47 high expected 62
48°, wind ESE 5mph, light rain/ mist
expected high of 60°
Sunny & 46 right now, heading toward 60...sorry about the frost, Pixie....it looks like the end of the week for us.....
Oh no - sorry, Celeste!!
Just back form a hike with my son's 6th grade class. Perfect day. Clear and 59 now. Colors were very nice but forgot my camera.
We lost three groups! You can only get so lost in Harriman Park so I'm sure they're found by now. Chaperons not paying attention!
wow Victor...
Middle schoolers love to disappear! Going in to sub on Thurs., but sticking to the elementary school!
Hee hee! They stayed on the Appalachian Trail, instead of switching to another.
Hi guys! Thanks so much Celeste, Marilyn, Lucy, Jen and Bill!! Today I'm not as tired as I have been, so it looks like I'll be back on my game before we know it! I made a recon trip to HD and Lowes to check out the offerings. Pretty slim today! The weather is warmer than yesterday, but still pretty pleasant. No rain this week!
Marilyn - good luck with the subbing! I think you're smart to stick to the elementary grades. As we all know, not all of the kids are like Victor's boys! That's a tough age for subs!
Bill, we bolted down all of our pretty rocks before we left, so don't waste your gas! LOL
The girls had a play date this morning with their sister. That was FUN!!
Welcome back, Louise!
Happy that your back in the groove, Louise....shopping helps! Wish I could have seen the girls playing. Not speaking to my Suey.....somehow a cat got into our fenced yard.....Robs was out there with it, but he likes other animals.....Suey went out, spotted it, & grabbed it, all before I could open my mouth. The cat managed to get away, but I have no idea if it was injured or even whose cat it is.....she knows I'm mad at her.
Nice morning for my hike. Mostly clear and 43. No wind.
Starting out cloudy this am. Chilly too again early. Should get up to around 60 degrees if the sun makes an appearance later. Present temp is 45 degrees with a light NW breeze.
43°, wind calm, slight fog
60° expected for the high today, mix of clouds & sun
Frost on the pumpkin this morning :( It's now a very chilly 34 degree's, should climb to 58.
Thanks, Victor! Glad you are enjoying your hiking. The weather seems great for it!
Eek, Marilyn. That sounds like a bad scene. Sorry you had to deal with that. No fun!
It's warm here, but I spent several hours out there this morning trying to tame the weedy jungle......that is, until I spotted a long black fellow that was in and out of where I needed to be. Then I saw it trying to get outta Dodge and heading for the puppy yard. I had to bang on the ground with the shovel a few times to make it turn course. Oh groan. You guys know how I hate that part of gardening. I know it is a harmless fellow, but that isn't enough to make me OK with it. I think he'll take the hint once he sniffs the pups and sees us in "his" area. Fingers crossed, at least.
Oh, no, Louise! Snakes scare the heck out of me! Do you know what kind? It's chilly here, 56, but should be in the 60's when i walk the dogs....
a black racer louise?
great day today - spent mine at jury duty - no trial sent home after lunch
At least it is one day, one trial rather than a month. I'm past the age. Last time I was called, I was a few months short, I was called but not seated.
The first time I had to serve we had a hung jury, - it was terrible! Like 12 angry men! (except that they were angry men & women!). The state had to 're-try' the case.
57°, cloudy
