central, NJ(Zone 6b)

A little chilly, but feels good.

Thanks Robin, dr gave a couple shots of Afrin yesterday and that seems to help clear it out immensely...sheesh if I would have known that it works so well would have run out and bought some.

Just saw my 1st white flakes

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Dandruff??

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh NO!!!!!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Really?

It was white coming down for a couple of minutes. Mr. G was looking funny.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Pretty cold out there with the wind! 48 with gusts up to 30 mph.

South Hamilton, MA

In the early 50s & a cold wind. Warmer predicted here for next week.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Crazy windy, hope it calms down for tonight fall festival run by the church that my son's school is a part of(does that make sense?)
They have all kinds of activities hayride, go carts, games, food, etc and everything is free

Thomaston, CT

Sherrie, me too! Ran some errands, was halfway to orchard & decided to stop at a fav restaurant for lunch....came out & it was sleeting along with wet snow....did not go to the orchard....very high elevation up there, & thought there would be better days. And I know Victor pooh-poohs this, but we have a full Hunters' Moon tonight, & our first freeze warning...supposed to go to 28....cloudy all day, & now the sky clears, the sun is golden, & there go my flowers....grrrrr!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Jen - the Fall Festival sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you guys enjoy it and that the weather turns out to be okay.

Marilyn - our first grandson was born during a full Hunter's Moon 8 years ago. We drove from work in Conn. right up to the hospital in Peterborough, NH, and the moon was so pretty when we crossed the Conn. River with snow flurries swirling around us the whole way. It was exciting! Yikes, 28 degrees already? Wow! Glad you used good judgment and didn't do the drive to the Orchard. Not worth it.

Sherrie - I wish I could have seen the look on Mr. G's face when he saw the snow. I can imagine how our girls will react if they ever see it. He is such a handsome young fellow!

Thomaston, CT

Yes, the full moon this time of year seems to bring the coldest weather...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I think late January full moons do that much better!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Yes, it's making the Yankees loose tonight and making werewolves as usual too. ☺

40° clear skies, breeze picking up and temps dropping.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Down to 37 here. Forecast low is 35 but I think we may go lower.

That was NOT there yesterday

Uh, oh, Sherrie.....looks like snow. Don't know how cold it got here last night since I awoke at 8, but the sun is now shining, & the temp should be upper 50s, low 60s.

I can remember going trick or treating in the snow. So I guess we can get it anytime. argh Misery.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

51°, windchill 46°, wind W 14mph, partly sunny
No frost here this am, sun breaking through the clouds

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

We went down to 33.4. Still have not hit freezing.

Nice day! Clear and 59.

South Hamilton, MA

Next week is supposed to be warmer. I hope so, we are so behind with weeding.

Thomaston, CT

No frost here, either...basil still looks great....maybe tonight!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Weeding - what's that?!

Exactly ! This is too cool and I want to do this.
