Congrats to my older guy who was elected team delegate to student government. He was really excited about it so I am very happy for him. The team takes in three separate classes. About 80 or so kids.

I'm still without my large TV....son has the capacitors, but his FIL needs a special solder for it......hope the set works after all this, & I don't like watching the playoffs on my old set....I'm squinting to see the players, never mind the ball.....sorry to complain....too many dark, rainy days!

Think that's on soda & sport's drinks....I rarely buy them, but I'm not happy about any new taxes....the economy is not good......no raises in teacher pension or social security...however gas in our town is $2.86 a gallon, with mucho taxes on it.

Gas will be going up with this latest jump in crude.

They think they have finally solved the honeybee mystery. I always believed there was a natural cause - not pesticides or cell phone radiation or any other ridiculous man-made cause put forth.

Getting ready for a quick trip this weekend for a wedding. I wanted to make sure the batteries in the flash were charged. Put them in and wondered why the lights were blinking. I ignored it, as I had lots to do. Later, I saw they were still blinking. Measured them with a simple tester and saw they were completely dead. Funny, since when they were still in the flash they showed pretty good. Then it occurred to me - they were alkalines!!! DUHHHHHHHHHHHH.

- good thing they didn't leak!

Staying at a Holiday Inn where they are piloting a new feature - you use your cell phone to both bypass check-in AND as the room key!

Very techie! Glad the bee disease is discovered...hope it leads to healthier hives....my son & DIL want to start again with them.....

Wow - judging by the number of entries, I would say it was not exactly a ringing success. Only one category even came close to 100 entries and all others were below 50. Two had only 11! We submit more photos on any given day in our forum.

Really not alot of notice for it...

Victor as FlowAjen and Pixie pointed out the banner went missing and awry and there wasn't much notice so lots of peoples didn't even know it was on :(
