Hi Ladies,
I'm here. Actually I'm at Doug's, using his laptop. We just back from a ride. Went to look at a house for rent. It's really cute, love how the ktichen and living room flow together. It is a two bedroom for $725. Has carport no garage which Doug would like to have. Does have a little room right off of the carport which would make a good shop for Doug. Not too sure about the area, house sits right on a very busy street. But we will see. Can't move just yet, maybe in a month or two. So if it is still avaiable and we can't find anything better will try to get it. One big plus it is only a couple of miles from Wal-Mart, ^_^

Hi everyone! Just popping in to give you all a big {{{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}}}} I'm doing fine, still not so good on the diet, but trying....Cindy that sounds like a great place! I hope you get it if it's what you want...Jerry was supposed to start back work on Monday (he's been layed off since November) at his old job, but his blood pressure is real high and he failed his physical. He was on medication, but they have upped in now in the hopes it will come down soon. He should pass the test later this week. Bless his heart, I do worry about him. AND I am ready for him to get back to work, lol! Not only will the money be great, but 1 year of us being cooped up 24/7 (the man has NO hobbies, I swear) has about done me in, hahaha!

Jaye, i so know what you are going thru at night So glad Kel helps you, mine sleeps thru it all i nearly go nuts with the pain. praying for you and Kel his grandmother and Dad.

Loss of a job seems so trivial next to some of the health issues others here have, for themselves and family members.......
btw - right now the sale of the trailer is a "no go" because without a job, I can't afford the mortgage BUT- we have a home to live in, and we own it.
My sister is doing as well as can be expected - Dr. says for her not to be so impatient and give herself 1 year for recovery from her January lung surger.
Her son (my nephew) is doing well - he's off of any type of walking support, and is back to work.

I'm just glad I'm healthy, and wish the same for everyone else here.

Well I feel fine, this is the strangest thing I have ever had! I woke up this morning with a massive sore throat and no voice, got some hot coffee on it and it's better. I'm not sure if it's the smog causing this or if it's just a cold. I'm betting it's the smog because it seems I used to get this all the time in CA, and the reason I didn't get it last summer is because we got all that rain that kept all the pollution down, plus we didn't have any hot days last summer either.

I've got to go, I have a Midsouth luncheon to go to that starts at 11, it's 10:30 now and it's a 38 minute drive OOPS!! LOL The way I drive.....

Morning all, I think it is still morning. Looks like I will not be going home until Thursday--provided no more emergencies with Mom. Good days, bad days--mostly her depression with not being able to get around freely. It's the pits.

Youngest GD called me Thursday to tell me she had lost her first tooth. Wanted to come see it but had a difficult time explaining I am about a 7 to 71/2 hour drive away. Ah youth!! She is very pleased with herself now that she has a tooth out--put it in a jar for tooth fairy as the "tooth fairy box" was missing. Apparently it worked!!

Marion....consider yourself hugged...Kim, too, and of course, Mom... I really know what you're going through right now. My mom has been having so much trouble with her bowels...ever since her surgery. Dad said she told the Dr. last week that she feels like she's dying, inch by inch....I so hope that tomorrow is a success for her party. I think it will be. The weather forecast looks like it is going to cooperate. They're calling for a high of 83 with humidity around 55%. Please pray that that comes through for us, cause it will surely make a big difference if we can all be comfortable outside.

just got back from the ER. i was having chest pains. they kept me 2 hours and sent me home, so i'm gonna lay on the couch and rest. my daughter called in work, and came to the hospital. i threw a fit. told her that her job was more important than sitting with me

Auntie M-I hate to say it, but I think the time for the dreaded decision is upon you and your sister.....I know it won't be easy, but it is necessary...

Kathy-you missy are not 25-I am not trying to be mean, but you still seem to want to go full steam ahead each day like you are that age instead of the one you are. Your body is telling you things and you my friend are not listening. Our bodies have aches and pains for a reason most of the time and it is to let us know we have overdone it. You need to schedule yourself time each and every day to relax and get some rest that your body is DEMANDING from you.....we as well as your family love you dearly and want you to be around for a while, so if you want that too, then please start taking care of your body-it is after all, the only one you have.

Joyce-maybe she is just having a bad few days....I know that Grandpa has always said he wasn't ready to go, but lately he has been saying that he is-at 102 I can understand even if I don't like it...I personally think that when you get a certain time in your life, you've done all you want to do, you see that your family is doing fine and maybe you are just tired and ready for the final rest. Just my feelings of course.

I would like to live a long life, but not so long that I feel like a useless sack of skin in the end. Not saying that is how anyone else feels, just that I don't want to feel like that (didn't want my words to be misunderstood).....

So I have this huge bruise on my knee! I knocked it on the bottom of a table yesterday and it hurt, but it didn't feel like I conked it that hard.

Stacey you're right about aches and pains, my goodness, I think my body thinks I'm 80, I have all kinds of pains I've never had before and I haven't reached 40 yet! I'm worried!!

just put up some corn in the freezer, and am making roasted tomatoe sauce. gonna make strawberry preserves and peach jam. then i have to make salsa, and canned tomatoes. the grandbaby gets back wed. so i will be babysitting again. i have a busy week ahead of myself

Kathy i would start to take more vit C. This is such a misunderstood vitamin and we don't get enough of it.
when people go to the ER and get an IV it has vit C in it.
it works like a magnet and draws out our toxins and helps with our bone of aches and pains. helps with energy too

Well, I am off to bed. My oldest Neice has been in labor for more than 24 hours now. Her water broke last night, and she is just now getting down to about 4 minutes apart for labor pains. I am tired of waiting, so I am off to bed! Hopefully her baby will be here by morning? This is the Sister of Ashley, that just lost her little girl. They were about 6 weeks apart from each other in having thier babies!
Hope you all get a good nights sleep. I'll put the coffee pot on the timer, so first one up, just flip the switch please!
