Gypsy Harvest continues
Aww she is so precious Kassy. Yep I think that kiss caught her unaware. LOL
She is sooo cute and those smiles make ya want to eat her up.
She's adorable Kassy!
Oh what a sugar baby Kassy. She is such a little cutie.
Pretty baby Kassy.
Hi! Everyone, and Happy Anniversary! I began with the slugs. I am not sure, but I think I might have started it with my poor 'limpy' or was it 'wimpy'? Maybe one of you can remember. That was so funny all you girls comments!
I didn't even know I was still a member. Just thought I would check and here I am!
Well, Kassy you really have your hands busy. Sweet baby.
JJ, and little Ava is growing bigger. Just wait, she will probably be a tall skinny model!
Talking about tall and skinny, that sounds like my coleus. Why is it so tall and skinny? Should I pinch it off sooner? I am not sure this kind is worth it. I have a whole bunch rooted and thought I would try to grow them inside. Not sure how they will look.
Good to see all of you!
Got a photo, Venice?
Good to see ya Venice.
Pinching is supposed to make them bushier, but some varieties do get fairly tall. Good to see ya, Venice.
Hi Venice,
I was wondering what happened to you.
Nope Venice, I don't have my hands full. You must have missed the part that I moved.
I'm about an hour away from them now. And for now I see her maybe once a week when I go back to go through things at the house to decide what I want to move here and what I don't.
Saw her last Thursday as her and her dad were both sick with colds, so he stayed home to take care of her. I had a vet appointment for Simba then and picked up a car load while I was there. I have off from work tomorrow, but have to go to a staff meeting so that shoots the day pretty much. So I may be headed back there on the weekend. Not sure yet.
BF told his daughter that he saw more of me when I didn't live here............LOL
Are you about to get settled in Kassy? How is the new job going?
Even though we haven't seen her in a while, I wanted to wish Chezca a happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday, Grandaughter.
Hi Jim. How are ya enjoying the slightly cooler weather? Did your clematis bloom for ya?
Boy, no Gypsies have posted on here since the Second??
WOW!!
Did we disband?
Sorry Jean, but between work and trying to get things settled in here and having to go back and forth because my older cat had to be declawed, it's been kind of busy here.
Still have a lot of settling in to do. And still have a bunch of things to go through back at the other place, if I can ever get the kids to give some of the things up that is.
They were going to be moving things around down in the basement and the garage this weekend, so I hate to think of where they buried some of my things during there moving around.
Hi Kassy. I figured the full brunt of the move had ya tied up. Hope all is going well for ya otherwise. How is that cutie Grandbaby? Need to post a pic...I'll bet she has changed quite a bit...they grow so fast. Separating households can be a real pain....hope ya get things settled in soon. Sorry about the kitty...guess it will help him settle with minimal damage....grin
Hi Ya Kassy.
Good to hear from you. Hope you get settled before the snow starts flying.
Look at it this way , the more they keep the less you have to move. LOL
Keep us posted on the progress and the grandbaby.
Ditto above. Hello to everyone.
Hi,
I need to get BF's scanner downloaded into my computer before I can send over more pictures. When I went back and picked Simba up from the vets and took him to the house (because he had to stay with the kids until his paws were healed), the kids had new pictures there for me that they had taken.
I actually have not seen Kirstie since I started work up here except once when her and her dad were both home sick.
Today, BF and I are taking care of anything that has to be taken care of outside before the bad weather sets in. I was getting my calla lilies ready for winter today and BF was digging the carrots. We still have beats to get in too.
His daughter is here for the weekend too, and will be going back tonight as she has school tomorrow. She graduates in December from nursing school.
We made a trip out to the forty as she is the big hunter in the family, and got the cam that we had set up out there.
Here is one of the pictures that it took. This is about 20 to 30 feet from where they sit at hunting time.
Looks like it could be good hunting.
Take some time to enjoy that grandbaby..they grow up to fast.
Hope you had a good day and didn't work to hard getting ready for the cold weather.
Take care
Sounds like it is all coming together. Looks like BF'sDD will have some good hunting this season. Graduation is almost here for her..know her Dad is proud.
Hi gang. Good to see everyone is still kicking. It is really dry where I live. No rain at my house in nearly 2 months. We tried to keep the flowers watered but finally had to give up. Looks like we will have to start all over next spring.
Hi Jim. Good to see you too. Want us to do a rain dance for ya? I had more rain than I knew what to do with for awhile. Mother nature needs to learn how to share.
Hi Jim. Sorry about it being so dry....did yall get any of that storm system last week? I thought about changing all my plants to desert, drought tolerant stuff, but figured as soon as I did that it would rain every day.....LOL
No we didn't get any of that. Late this afternoon we got a light shower. Not enough to register.
Always seems like either too much rain or not enough.... sorry Jim. Hope you and Jo are doing well despite the dry weather.
Well, we got a good rain last night. More predicted for Sat. and Sun.
We are doing good. Just disgusted because we lost so many of our flowers to the hot, dry summer.
Yeah, we got so much rain in early summer that some things just rotted...and then no rain for so long they just burned up....funny how you can water everyday and still not get enough in the containers...much less the ground. Glad you all are doing okay otherwise.
We are on cloud nine today. Daughter called and her husband has a new promotion and looks like they will be moving from Ohio to Shreveport to take over the office there.
That will be great..lots closer. Congratulations to SIL
Oh how nice for you all!
Oh that is wonderful Jim. I know you and Jo are thrilled to have them so close to home. How long before they make the move?
We are excited. They were in Abiline for 3 years, Germany 5 and Ohio 9. It feels like they are our next door neighbors. They should be moving the first of the year. It means they won't get to come home for Christmas but that is okay. Just hoping they can get their home sold in this depressed economy.
I will certainly keep my fingers crossed for them. I'll bet Jo is already calmly making plans for their arrival....grin. Best of luck to them with the move.
Thanks, Moon.
OK, didn't get the scanner installed yet. I'm either at work or doing things around here, like making mulberry syrup and canning it. That's part of the mulberries that I picked this summer. I still have more to make and can.
But.................
Son posted pictures on facebook, and I stole them off there, he he he he he
Who needs a scanner if I follow my sons facebook page ;-)
3 month old pictures that they had taken of her
