Gypsy Harvest continues

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Hi Dave, glad to see you stopped in ^_^

Smiley, I was going to tell Flowers, nice view!
We have a corn field across the road from us this year. Last year we had one behind us, but this year that one is soy beans.

Flowers, here is where you get the petunia seeds from ^_^
There are even a few tiny seeds out of the cracked pod already. I have been busy collecting seeds from mine.

Check out the small egg in the middle.
Our babies have started to lay ^_^
The eggs will get bigger as they keep laying, and soon they will be bigger then the other eggs that are in the photo.

Yumm.. BLT's ...Yumm, yumm
Nice flowers Kassy that DL is pretty and that tomato is ......different LOL.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Ooh, nice tomato sandwich those would make! Nice pictures Kassy.

Flowers, didn't you say you got 2 grapes off your grapevine? I was trying to be funny, I guess it didn't come across cyberspace as that, sorry.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I got it Smiley....and laughed.

Things are looking good Kassy. Yum to the tomatoes.

Jim, just wait til they open, looks like snowfall on the fence.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Jean, snow is a 4 letter word in this area, especially at this time of year. :-o

Tell you what Jim, if you want snow on a fence, just move to Wisconsin and you will get lots of it. ^_^

This butterfly kept flying around, like it wanted it's picture taken, so I got a number of pictures of him. Here it was flying over my butterfly bush.

And here is one of the newer pictures that I have of her. Had to take it off a site my DIL put it on. Thats the only way I get pictures of her if I don't take them myself.

Shame on them Kassy. She is an absolute little doll.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Kassy she is adorable , look at that smile. I can't imagine you not having that camera and taking pictures of her when you are there.
I'll bet you have some really good ones.

Delhi, LA

I'll settle for my clematis snow on the fence, Kassy. I'm enjoying the cool snap we are having. Temp is down to 99.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL, Oh come on Jim, snow can be so much fun. NOT!
That might be why I don't really have any flowers that remind me of snow. We have enough of that in the winter to want to see it in the summer.

JJ, I take pictures of her from time to time. And the ones I have they don't have........LOL
DIL said she would send me some pictures in my e-mail and she wanted the ones I took, like that thinker one. I have different ones of that.
Well DIL seems to have forgot to send them, so I don't bother to forward mine to her either.
So here is another one she doesn't have.
Some day, she may learn, but I have my doubts.

Kassy, ahhhh such a sweet baby!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Awwww she is so cute Kassy just makes ya want to kiss and kiss that little baby face.
Nice pictures and those yellow tomatoes are cool :-)
I figured the seeds on the petunia had to be at the base of the bloom, so I just put the dead bloom in a little pot to dry out, so we'll see. Thanks for the tip.

Smiley Girl, got cha now, been racking my brain to figure out if I was eating grapes at five years old while riding a turtle LOL

Wow Jim, 99 degrees shucks your gonna have to break out a jacket if that keeps up :-)

Hi Ya Moonie and JJ! Hope all have a good week.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Hi Venice, we must have been thinking the same thing and posted at the same time. Hope things are cooling down your way. Have a good evening and will catch ya when things calm around here, lots to catch up on.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Aww that is so sweet.
Don't hold your breath. LOL

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Awww, look at those big blue eyes.....how cute.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

She's starting to fill out and looking less like Puff. LOL

Delhi, LA

My daughter's name is Ava.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Kassy, that is one cute baby!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Well DD's neighbor proved me wrong, didn't think watermelons would grow here but she had about 7 juicy ones in her garden and cantelopes and pumpkins too. Got one and brought it home and thinking it would be nasty was surprised at its sweet taste. I never could grow them.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Oh, how nice! I haven't had a good watermelon all summer.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Since it is only the three of us, we have started buying the Sugar baby melons....they are sweet and only weigh 5 or 6 pounds. How neat for your DD...I know the Grands are tickled.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

What a nice surprise, Flowers. Enjoy!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, the small ones I got last year were really good. But I have had 2 this year that were mushy. Ahhh.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Yeah, they do that if they sit too long....nothing worse than biting into a mushy watermelon when you expect that clean crisp sweet taste....

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

Just wanted to say bye to you all on this site. Subscription expires 1st of Sept. and have other places to talk that doesn't cost me Ha Ha. Take care to those that I won't catch elsewhere but will be monotoring beginners forems so if I see ya in there I'll pop in and say Hi. Sure have had fun this year talking to you all. Hugs Karen

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Oh flowers, going to miss you on here too, but I got you on e-mail if I can ever keep up with it.

JJ, where did you go to?
That little grand daughter of yours sure has big eyes. Cute.

I put in an application at a second place up near my BF. After I e-mailing it in, I heard back from them in less then 15 minutes, saying they would be going over the applications and setting up interviews with those that qualify. Well I guess I qualified. They e-mailed me yesterday and wanted to set up an interview for Wednesday at 1 pm. I had to get that pushed back to Thursday afternoon, as I have an in-service to go to for the company I work for now on Thursday morning.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I'm around Kassy. Not much going on here, work and more work.
Big eyes and long arms and legs. LOL Thanks shes finally growing into them, but still tiny.
Congratulations on the interview, unless they are nuts I'm sure you'll get the job if you want it.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Good luck today Kassy

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hope ya get the job Kassy. Good luck.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Woooo Hoooo.......

Had my interview yesterday, and it went really well.
I could tell she wanted to offer me the job after the interview but......... I still had to fill out the application and she said she had to do a backround check on me and contact my references. She told me to make sure I brought the application back into her today.

I took it into her today and she offered me the job ^_^
Guess she kind of forgot about a backround check or references........LOL
She said she talked to her supervisor and told her she thought I would be a perfict fit, and that she wanted to offer me the job. I had given her my last evaluation from work, signed by 2 of my supervisors. She took that as my references.

I'll be taking care of an autistic guy in his 30's in his own home. She said he likes to get out a lot. So I guess him and I will be doing some traveling.
She said she would also like to cross train me in the CBRF they have too, after she found out that I'm CBRF certified.

I go back to see her on Monday to fill out the hiring paper work.

BF was the first to know that I was hired. Everyone on here is second. Now I guess I better let my kids know.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Congratulations Kassy!!!
Hope the kids take it well. LOL
