Oh-and I am such a moron. I was cutting squares for Jonathan's and my cousin's baby girl's rag quilts and sliced my finger on the rotary cutter-it wouldn't stop bleeding, so I am taking a break from cutting....

OUCH! Those rotary cutter can be bad! Keep pressure on it.

Ouch! Tink am I going to have to do you like they would do in some quilting classes I have taken? If you were caught with your cutting edge not covered, then it was 25 cents into the jar. I am so bad about not pushing mine closed and after several cuts, I set me up a jar. Funny how quickly you learn to close the dumb thing. Take care of it as I know it hurts like the dickens'.

Braved the heat and went into Tally. Shortest shopping trip ever as it was just to blazing hot to do anything but the necessary. Suppose to have rain storms this evening and tomorrow so we shall see what happens.

Twyla, I certainly hope and pray you start to feel better really soon. Migraines are bad under the best of conditions so I can only imagine the pain you are having. Please take care.

Just got back from a Mexican feast. Had the best shredded chicken with mole' sauce.. yumm!

Wonder how much food the cat eats? I've seen a 30 pound cat, but it's not a Maine Coon.. just a regular Siamese, but having thyroid issues.

You are indeed very lucky as it, at least to me, is one of the worse cuts I think I have had.

We had oriental buffet before we left town. Just did not want to come home and heat up the kitchen today.

I talked to my Brother today, and my Niece is doing well, but missing her little Lillie so much. She is on a respirator because her lungs are not fully developed, and she has a heart valve that wants to stick open, but everything is being monitored closely. She has gained 2 ounces. My Brother said if you hold out your hands together and cup them like your going to get them full of water, that Lillie could easily fit in them. Such a tiny girl, but seems to be strong and a fighter.
I told him we are waiting on pictures. I guess everyone has pictures on thier cell phones, but no one knows how to send them out. But I promise, as soon as I get one, I will post.

Hello, all 3 days ago i went into a house to look at microwave can't get along wihtout one silly isn't it but he won't let me cook anything in this heat house is like 99!!inside.. he stays in the bedroom only air conditioner . so anyway back to my story i should not tell this but do not go into one if you try not to throw up ,cats every where and cat doo doo it even clung to my clothes only in there 5 - 7 min . maybe 8. i have neen so sick . i was starting to feel better than that smell was atrocious how they lived in never know.. horrible horrible -is mild. but smelling it breathing it i did get sick somone says oh no not that few min.. ha......so maybe try to find one at garage sale or wait till can go buy new. or credit card if don't tell you know who.. lol..

i have my crippled baby on my lap.. she does not know when peeing and do do but it does not bother me shes my baby regardless. so her and I have lots showers.. water makes them useless legs feeol good she likes to bite nick me good.

Auntie M-I had the cutter in my R hand going to cut a piece of fabric when it happened!!LOL Oh well, I am sure to get more cut today....

WOW is that a ton of fabric!!! You know Barb-I feel so dumb-I had a really pretty green and a really pretty orange batik that I could have sent with that black fabric-dumb me-oh well....I saw something cute the other day that if I can find the right fabric I am gonna try and make:)

Twyla, you're so gentle with kitties! Had you tried fixing some form of leg braces for the kittie. Might give them some support, unless they're totally useless.
As for prayers for critters.. me and Kel always include our pets and thankfully, our pastor does that for his too!

Ladies, I thought I'd share this with you because I know alot of us are on Facebook and some of you are in my address book. Last night I had turned on my pc and found a IM message from a gal I chat with in Missouri. She hadn't sent me the message. This is a mass message that she sent out to all of her friends. I don't know much about there virus but if they happened to have gotten a hold of my addys then I'm sure people are getting the IM. It seems to only be affecting Yahoo IM, but you just never know where it will go


First let me apologize for any messages you may be receiving that look like they coming are from me about “facebook pics” I assure you I am not sending these messages out – WHAT EVER YOU DO – DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE LINK IF HAS IN IT! Apparently the address books of anyone who gets this message is stolen by some kind of Trojan and then it is sending crap out as if it was from them! McAfee/Norton/AVG have not identified what it is yet and do not have a fix for it. I found a 'fix" on my own and that is to delete the archives (from the preferences tab), then do a system restore back to a date before noon on 7/22 (apparently that is when this thing was introduced into Yahoo) You also need to change your Yahoo password immediately. I did this and so far it seems to be working.

Trojans are the worse. I don't IM at home but I do at work. We use Windows Live IM. Since my computer was infected about 5 months ago and I had to restore back to the original date it was put together, which was 3 years prior because I have never backed the thing up to a disc, and I still haven't done one! Thanks for sharing that Cindy, much appreciated!

one is stiff can't bend she holds it straight up looks like when flag is up on mail box. other is useless to both weird shapes. but shes a fighter. he just took her to lay down with him in bedr. where its cooler. she p p on him he never said nothing except give her a bath do every time she goes. she gets lots loves loves.

&&&&&&&&&**** Please prayers prayers.. my daughter is in mess her husband left her for a younger one at work the woman was in prison for 10 yrs. for murder. she worked at macd. he was main manager and now supervisor. now she& him adulterer my daughter never thought he would but he has before she would not believe it!!my daughter is so down now her landlord wants to move back into their house so shes got to find place her 5 kids!!was in it for 6 yrs. but things happen i have told her to be prepared for things shes not can't handle it i have went thru so much so i will see i have gave her ideas but ..

Well everyone, I would like to introduce you to Lillie Marie. She is a fighter. The meds have worked on her heart valve, so she will not need heart surgery. Thanks for the prayers. She can breathe on her own, just not enough, so they will keep her on a ventilator to keep the oxygen levels high enough. Momma is pumping breast milk, so she will have proper nutients. If everything keeps on path, she will go home around October or so?

Aw poor little thing Bless her heart. I think I would go nuts not being able to have my baby at home. Oct is a long ways away yet.

Well I am a CHICKEN!!! LOL went to camp ground where daughter and family were camping. Went down to the beach to swim and ride the wave runner. First my daughter and I get on, go out to the middle of the lake and it died on us. She couldn't get it started and we were about to tip over so I had to jump off. Thank God for the vest. I had to swim quite a ways to reach shore and I was affaid I would get run over by a boat or another wave runner. I sure got some exercise whew!!!! So we got back to the beach, son in law checked it out took it out for a run came back said it was fine. It is an old one (like about 20 years) and could not handle all the weight (me mostly, lol). So I get on it and headed out but not ever being on one before I was not to sure about it. So I turned around and came back. There were alot of boats and wave runners all over the lake and me not knowing what these things do I chickened out, LOL ^_^ So the next time they go to the lake I will go and try it again. But I enjoyed myself just floating in the water.

Jaye you posted a picture of Peruvian lillies, I had some years ago and didn't know what they were called. I thought they were so pretty, wish I had dug up the bulbs so I could have planted some here. So, thanks for the info.

I, too, had a mild heat stroke on our last day of camping no less LOL
We had rain every day, but sunshine too!! So it was a surprise that the last day, when we were taking down everything, that the sun and heat was enuff to give me a heat stroke.
