(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

That is great news Cookie!!!! Guess that will help my DIL also as she lost her job August will be a year ago too. Well, your Miracles are being well watered and are growing great guns (so are mine) so let me know when is a good time. Was/am worried about the heat and planting them now. Any advice? You, Tink, anyone?

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Cookie-my mom told me that this am as she has been unemployed for a couple mos now-she was happy as well, but she still may need to get a roommate if she doesn't get a job soon.

Marie-yuppers-we picked the names out 7 yrs ago-LOL. He is Jonathan Gabriel Combest.

Cookie-I can't believe I spaced that pic!! Will take it today after my errands-gotta pay car payment, get a couple things at the grocery and go to Joann's with the coupons mom sent me so I can get the rest of the fabric for Jonathan's rag quilt:)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

OOO-excited-we had our first item on the registry purchased:) The high chair:)

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Love the name you picked fairy.7years is a long wait.

Mine range in age from 6 to 24. I get my baby fixes froma ll of the great nieces and nephews being born. I got to love on my newest great-niece yesterday she is 4 months old!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cindy, where are you at? How are you doing?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

That's funny, I was thinking about Cindy today, too. wondering the same thing. I took my last candle to lunch today as a hostess gift. Dang it was the cinnamon spice...my favorite.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Didn't Cindy say that she was going to be at Doug's for a week, or something like that? Maybe camping or something?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm sure it's something like that. Anyone heard from Kim?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Kim posted on facebook, she has been on strike, and waiting for final negotiations to go back to work. Then she hurt her finger pretty bad on her sun awning in the back yard.
bj and Phyllis are missing also!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

A bunch of us have gone missing. Check the swaps threads!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hey Crissy, Marie, Stacey, Cookie, MaidM, Barb, Thunder, Betty, Sis....

I'm here..... and still laughing at Kailey's star-pox face!!! Thanks Chris.

Tubby.. are you here?? Sorry we talk of bras and can't put on a picture guide as how we look in them!!! Be safer on your eyes if we don't!!

Yep, many are missing, but one can find some still active when checking other threads. As long as it's not a debilitating illness that kept them from completely posting on DG.

SIs Kathy, are you given a dietary plan? Take your aspirin faithfully please.

LK, Monster white is beautiful!! I can imagine the smell to have a hint of clove and vanilla..
Forgot to tell you that the "H" bloomed when I was at Cookie's and Kel took a picture of the blooms BUT he didn't use a card and can't find the usb cable connecter.. yet.
Have this desire to perhaps ship the whole shebang to you in fall! Slow, slow grower.

Well, I'm taking it easy today. Not pushing myself and lucky to have Kel so forgiving on my imcompetent housework.
Think I'll continue to sew.
BTW, it was 105 yesterday and supposed to be so today too!! Thank God for the light shower, I didn't have to water the plants.

Cookie, you got to wait on the "Y"s on them brugs! No Y no Bud!!
This here is Serendipity's first flush. Planted in shade and blooms go on throughout the day. Rains make those weeds shoot up fast!

Jaye, it smells like a powder fresh lemon! That is how I describe it. Smells wonderful!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

And this here is my 2 year old Rose of Sharon.

Marie... my first brugs came from a DGer who used to live in Arizona.
She and her mum both are addict brug growers. They build shade for their brugs.
Her gifts of Adeline and NOL (yep Cookie, they're the parents) is the cause of a very expensive horticultural addiction!

OOOOOOOOOO Jaye!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Bee-u-ti-ful!!!! I have a Rose of Sharon that is a double with a p---(with due respect to Jaye) that has only bloomed twice in the 7 years we have owned this place. I think it may be getting way to much shade. No luck with Brugs sad to say.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hibis.. Rose of Sharon.. they all love sun Maid M.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

i'm here to tell y'all, NOBODY EVER CALLS ME!

having a minor surgery tomorrow. finally gonna take care of that pain in my butt!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Beautiful blooms. I know for sure the yellow cutting was after the Y cause I cut that one! Not sure on the other two, and I'm not sure if I got them from you, Jaye, or LK. My memory suks.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Pooh...that's just not true!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Don't make me come down there....

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Cookie, you're right!!! I'm the one with major CRS issues.. but then.. I gave away cuttings to so many.
Your NOL comes from JTsession. I ordered that from him as my NOL was still small then.
Hmm... I should have written down who got what!!

Sis... guilty here.. been so busy these days but I DO PRAY FOR YOU. (Does that counts?)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Don't ever say no one call you, Sis!!
Make sure you get that doughnut cushion b4 surgery!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

We will be praying for you Sis, hope it will not be too painfull!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hello Ladies,
I am back home.Had a good time with Doug. I hate leaving there and he hates when I leave. So we are both anxious to get our own place. But it will be at least Oct or later before that will happen. And of course it depends on SSD too.

It never fails when I leave something always goes wrong. The Directv receiver in the living room went kaput!! and mom was without a tv for 5 days, lol. So she spent all that time in her bedroom watching tv.

My best friend's father passed away and I went to the funeral last Friday. My friend(Bertha) and my daughter's father(Raul) are cousins, and I have always been close with the family. They always considered me the daughter & sister in -law, even though Raul and I never married. So it was real nice to see all of the family.

The people that held the wake for my friend have this cat. OMG!!! It is the biggest cat I have ever seen. And beautiful too.

Cindy great to see you back and had a great time! That is a typical size of a male Maine Coon Cat. Hope you enjoyed the cooing, chirping, sweet small meows, and all the love they give, and can't forget the fuzz of course!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

And of course alot of my flowers bloomed while I was gone.

This is Black Beauty

I've been busy outside trying to catch up on yard work but it got too hot. So I am going to fix me a big glass of ice tea and kick back and watch some movies that recorded while I was gone. Gotta love TIVO, lol.

Everyone be well, many blessings..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

There you are Cindy. Did you call Direct? They should come out and fix it for you. Wow, that is a big cat! What kind of bird is in the cage in the back ground? Looks like a cockatoo? Beautiful flowers.

Crissy, have you moved to your new office space yet? How is it going at work?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Well Crissy luckily that is NOT my cat. And they had 3 or 4 other cats also. Way too many cats for me.

I'm thinking I may have to have someone take over the Running List of Swaps for me. Doug and I are going to be gone alot pretty soon. The scooter is in the shop and if everything goes right it will be ready by this weekend. And we will be taking off on short road trips here pretty soon. In Sept we are going to a Biker or Not get together in the Redwoods. Plus more camping trips also.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Twyla, glad to see your back. Sorry your having such headaches! Take care.
Yes, Stacey did get her gifts, she posted when she got them. They are wonderful.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LK, it is a cockatail (sp). I do remember glancing at it. When I first saw the cage I thought it held a big bird but no just the little cockatail.

Directv is sending a new receiver.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Cindy-how funny that cat is!! I have a friend who has a pic of another person's cat that has a 22 oz bottle of beer on it's tummy and if you didn't know you would think it was an avg cat with a reg bottle of beer-that is how huge that cat was!!LOL

Twyla-yes ma'am I did and I posted pics and everything-was wondering where you were. Wanted to send you a thank you, but there wasn't a name on the envie and I don't know your last name....can you dmail it to me:)
