Well, girls...Joan Day is having her sale this weekend. Even though I'm having around 40 people here for the family reunion, I'm going to start my day with a trip there. This one is where she has different artisans come in with what they make or sell. A lot of her cool trees are offered at this sale...hope the prices are as good as last year, cause I'm giving plasma again today and Friday!

How come all you gals are giving plasma???? we give blood here but never heard of plasma?

Plasma, is only part of the bllod, they take out the palsma, and you keep your blood.

LK, FIL is now taking his radiation therapy. Kel had to leave the house at7 this morning, so they could be at the office for 8.30.
The treatment took only 10 minutes, but struggling with his dad to get him on and off the table takes more than that!
Murdock so far hasn't shown any side effects. Too early to tell? But this will continue for another 4 weeks. I do hope his brother will help for at least one week.

Cookie, I'm hoping for good news sistah! Hope they sign the extension! I want the cream treat to continue for your kitties!

OOPS!!!! I will have to be more careful in the future--so glad it arrived at the proper destination. Nope no Vicodin but was starting to experience some serious pain and the swelling and redness had started it move up the arm towards the shoulder. Just preoccupied wondering what was happening. I sorry!!! I will let you beat me with a wet noodle when we see each other again.

They won't be-it is a staple line for them. They come in several colors and sometimes in cool designs. I have been buying them for several years now. I figure you find something like that that works, you don't mess with it;)

Well I had a favorite made by Playtex and after many, many years it has been redesigned completely. Oh how upset I am with them.

I would be too!!! I am so NOT looking forward to the whole nursing bra thing-I just know they aren't going to be nearly as great as my reg ones....Oh well-you do what ya have to sometimes.

Stacey, that is where I buy mine also, and they have re-sized them! Not the size they have always been for years now! GRRRRRR....
I ordered the same size I have been ordering, and this last batch came in two size tooo big! SHoulder straps were palced way too far out on the shoulders. I sent them back with a bad nasty gram!

What did I do today? Maid M.. I sewed a couple of stuffs for a swap.. ran some errands after that.. got worn out from the heat.
Three digits this afternoon!!! Not supposed to!!!
Then Kel..bless his heart..agreed to a supper of fresh tomatoes (courtesy of a neighbour), with fresh mozarella cheese (courtesy of Food Lion) and some aged Balsamic vinegar. I know it's impossible for him to dine on a meatless plate. A few minutes later, I smell bacon!!!
Needless to say.. there goes my effort in healthy eating!!!

I won't be on tomorrow morning. Will accompany Kel for FIL's radiation treatment. So, see you all in the afternoon!

Would you save a cutting for me come Fall? I have a bud on my yellow that I had planted last year, but so far nothing on my Adeline, Serendepity or NOL. I'm so anxious for those to bloom. The plants look amazing though. I planted them where the water comes out from the downspout. They seem to love it there.

good morning everyone.. LK, I love that bloom!! Wow.. sigh..I miss having a garden :( But I've been told by a birdie..(or was it a fruity?? lol) that I have some new houseplants coming! Woohoo :) So last night, I was rearranging and putting a couple of new bookcases together, so that the new babies will have room near what little light gets into my apartment.

Can't wait for the new, little Fairy to get here :) Babies are so much fun.. well, and work too..but Aunties and G-Ma (my grandkids call me that!) can ignore the work part lol. I was over at DD's house playing with Kailey last night..she thinks big brother Gage is the funniest thing on earth! We had her laughing out loud and showing off those 2 new teeth of hers :)

I'm not sure what pic I showed everyone last, but I'll put one on here for those who haven't gotten to see her yet (is that a pitiful excuse or what?) lol
Oh..I do have a new one..I didn't take it, DD did.. Kailey's Uncle Mike was in for a visit and wanted to feed her (he and his fiance are expecting a little girl around Oct!) . DD walked in and found this LOL!!! Gotta love men, I swear!

Edited to add: those little stars are food..it's a new thing..they dissolve in a baby's mouth, so they don't choke. Well, kinda..if they don't dissolve fast enough, they can cough and sputter, but then it dissolves with the saliva and baby is fine. (yes, Kailey has done that! lol)

OH Chris, how adorable. I have never heard of the "stars" in baby food. Something new I guess and since my 2 GD don't eat baby food any more, don't think I will be seeing any. I am missing them so bad this week. They are traveling with the Dad (Mom, too) as he is working on the fort at Gulf Island. Oh the stories I am sure to hear when they return.

Cookie, I haven't forgotten the Miracles. Just a wee set back in a lot of things with this dumb arm. When is actually the best time for you to plant them?

See we have a depression that is being watched. August usually turns out to be the worst month for storms so I guess I shouldn't be surprised things are starting to pick up a little.

I don't think it is. I need to take some pictures this evening if I have time, I'm taking care of my next door neighbors acre, 4 dogs (3 Rottweilers and a Yellow Lab,) 1 indoor cat, and fish while she's away, so Dave's been doing our yard and I've been doing her yard. LOL it works! I feel so bad because the dogs want me to stay and play with them and I so would if it wasn't 95* at dusk, but it's just too hot for them and me.

Oh how I relate to that Crissy. I am taking care of my son's chocolate lab and all he wants to do is play "chase the wind" when I go over to see him. In short, I throw his kong and he chases after it, gets it and then runs about 5 circles around their back yard before bringing it back to me. In this heat, not fun!!

It isn't fun at all, of course they don't get that, they just know 'toys' and 'play' LOL What's really bad is the cat has been getting tons of attention! She'll be back Monday night and oooooo how I miss her company! I think I'll go drive her nuts next Tuesday.

No rush on the miracles. Speaking of miracles...I'm pleased to say that they pushed through the unemployment stuff and I'll be getting my payment. Whew...it's not much, but it's the difference between "make or break"!
