Reminds of of my friend last week...she got stopped by the police and was trying to get to the right side of the road but couldn't. (No one would let her) Sooo, she went across traffic to the left and the police officer was young and got out the bull-horn. She got out of the car and told him she was MIDDLE AGED and the Horn was not needed. He didn't smile, continued into the horn at which point she yelled back....... " THERE IS A LITTLE RED-HEADED 3 YEAR OLD IN THE FRONT SEAT ASLEEP....YOU WAKEY, YOU TAKEY'. He shut off the bull-horn. LOL
BTW...all that to tell her she had a brake light out!!!!

I know, I already told someone I was making raspberry apple crisp this weekend, and that is what I am making next weekend, so now I have to make it twice. Once I mentioned it, I couldn't get out of it. Oh well, it's easy and delicious.

Do I remember correctly someone mentioning a whatchamacallit (senior moment) swap too? -i.e. where everyone brings something and you pick a number out of a hat to pick what you want - or some variation of that?

My friend and fellow gardener Peggy, who's originally from Groton, will likely be coming with me, so I'm expecting not to get lost this time.

oh my oh my... you know it never ends... I have to pray the truck is done being repaired... we blew out a metal brake line yesterday... getting the estimate done now.. just have to pray for the best... the maxima we own.. I wouldn't trust that to drive up there
