Southeastern, NH(Zone 5b)

My sunflowers were self seeded this year and they bloomed and went to seed by late July. Seemed really early.

Try clearing out your temp files(browsing history) under tools then internet options. I had a problem with one of my other frequently visited sites

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Hi everyone, and thanks for your suggestions. I seem to have solved the problem by installing an optimizer for my internet satellite, or the admin. people did their magic for me....not really sure which, but I had already done the things Jenn suggested and then realized I could contact the good admin wizards on my phone. I'm not sure they had to do anything, because I also installed the optimizer for speed. So...."I'm back, Baby!" Now I have a zillion threads to catch up on, so when our grandson leaves, I'll try to get the lists caught up here.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Welcome back!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Awwwwww, thanks, Dahlia!!! That is sooooo sweet of you....(no pun intended lol). The only thing better would be to have you there in person! Maybe next summer or fall!

Bill - so we should add patience and unselfishness to your resume????? Those qualities go very well with gardener/stone mason descriptors..... :)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

do not jump the gun - that box is looking mighty tasty

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Now that the cat is out of the bag, you wouldn't really want to face an angry, hungry mob, would you??????? LOL We're almost 3 weeks away...are you ready for us, Bill?

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

PICS PLEASE! PICS PLEASE! of the angry mob chasing wha around the garden! ROFL.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I strongly suggest someone bring Bill a supermarket shopping cart! He can use it to harvest and move stones.. ^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

shopping carts ar too tall and once a rock is in difficult to get out. i will stick with my battle warn wheel barrel.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Just tip it. Always worked with my kids.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Speaking of trusty barrows I got a flat tire on mine. Apparently tire shops here do not fix flat barrow tires so I tried inflating it with the compressor and it blew up BIG TIME so I am off to see hardwarestoreguy for a replacement. ps I have taken tireshopguy off my Christmas Card list :( Now back to your regularly scheduled: Fall RU in MA thread....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

LOL D-nut! I too have ruined a few barrow tires, so don't feel too bad!!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Bill, I'm looking at mapquest, and I can either take the turnpike down through Springfield and up, or routes 7 - 9 - 119 from Albany NY. It looks like a 40 mile and 45 minute difference, but thought you might know the roads better then mapquest.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I sent Kassia a message on facebook to see if she can make it

Thomaston, CT

How about Boojum? Did anyone contact her & Daniel?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hey Allison, what time were you planning on leaving?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

boojum should be here i have her contact information.

deb if i were you i would stay on the mass pike it should be faster - when you get to the worchester area jump on 290S and merge onto 495N. louise is going to be dmailing the directions for the rest of the way.

dmail me where your staying and i can give you directions from there or to there.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
