Ok, so you'll all be pleased my user name is officially changed.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i liked the original :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Makes me pronounce as flow - like in water flow. Sounds like an incontinence medication.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh great.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Really does! 'Are you running to the bathroom only to have a few drops come out?? Then ask your doctor to prescribe new Flowagen!!'

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

You guys are really terrible! You convince her to change her name, then bash it. Well wha's that all about mr. victory garden? That name sounds like a pile of vegetables.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hope you did not take us serious - we were only kidding around.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Um, perenniallyme, I am sure Jen knows I am joking. We're friends for a long time. Sheesh!

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

I know, I know. (Just please forgive me if I'm adverse to the new language - i.e. "LOL".) It took me a while to find out what that meant, and I still don't know the symbols with the colons and parentheses, etc.

Sheesh!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh my...and Victor and Bill def. can give the wrong impression sometimes (BIG GRIN HERE) It's OK, you'll learn....got kids? Your gonna learn real fast about LOL and IMHO(in my humble opinion) what "rents" are, what "got 2 go PP" means and so on!
And I meant to offer my sympathies ahead of time. ^_^

Thanks, Pixie, but would I really have to say :-> or LOL for someone to know how I meant it?

fyi for any late comers.....this "RU announcement" thread has been supplanted by the food and plant threads in terms of any specific info concerning Bill's RU. The links are above and they provide the details about the plants people have offered to bring, the parking info, time, raffle, food etc.

My plants have been dug, so now Bailey has no choice but to recover quickly. LOL

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

Schickenlady, that one's not in the dictionary pixie sent me to.

Louise, we're planning on seeing you. You can always bring Bailey and we'll all help with TLC recovery efforts.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Thank you, Sharon. That is very sweet! Hopefully, she'll be back to herself by Saturday. I am so happy to see how far she has come today. I really am looking forward to seeing everyone, and Hank is especially looking forward to beating Bill in horseshoes on his home court advantage. Are you starting to get the idea that these RUs have little to do with plants? One might think that the plants are just an excuse to get together for some fun and mayhem and some high-end cheese. Guilty here.....LOL But I do LOVE the plant part too!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Louise, hope Bailey is better and we get to see you, I told Sue all about you!

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

So you're bringing the gruyere and brie avec champignons, then, Louise?

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Uh, OH, Debi....is she still coming??? :) We are certainly going to be there if we can....would really not want to go south without seeing everyone! I am really looking forward to meeting Sue! I will miss not seeing Harper....sure wish she could come too.....and Kassia! Has anyone heard from her lately? Bill's isn't very far away for her.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oh yum.....but no, Bill and I are "doing the dog"s.....high end, of course!

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

Hot dogs? I don't remember seeing them on the menu. I love hot dogs!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oh yeah, Bill exposed us to his fav dogs and we decided to team up to share the "good ones" with y'all. I plan to put some chili on mine to give it a southern touch. I agree with him that they will go well with the other yummy things others are bringing.

Allison - you've just GOT to make those brownies and get that truck fixed! Yikes!!!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

change of plans... Jen saved the day... the truck needs parts special ordered from CA... they won't arrive until Thursday... told us the truck won't be ready until next week... BUT Jen is going to bring her hubbies truck here... and we will all come up in hers... THANKS JEN!!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

So glad the Jersey girls will make it...yay! Louise, the dogs intrigue me.....sound special. I can't wait....yes, plants & gardens are fun, but just seeing everyone is the best!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Hi Brigitte - You were included in the dmail blast with the directons, so I have no idea why you didn't receive them. They should have been in your dmail box for September 2nd. Thanks, Bill, for making sure she has them in time! If anyone else has not received the directions from the blast, just let me know and I'll happily resend them.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Lots of pics please. Sounds like it will be fun.

Thomaston, CT

We'll do that, Jumper!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Sure wish you and your Mom could come, Lucy!!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

as anyone who is on the weather thread knows i have been begging for rain - it has never been so dry at our home in 12 years - for the past few weeks our water pump has been sucking up air with water everytime a faucet is turned on or a toilet flushed.

with the number people we have coming we are a bit concerned about toilet visits -so everyone needs to hold it :) - well actually we are asking that no yellow water be flushed.

when you see the pond in our backyard you will understand - thx

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Rent a porta-potty and everyone can chip in. Not very $$.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Brian said he'll just kills some weeds for you Bill...you just point him in the right direction!! LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Boost the compost!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh yeah... I see Bill having a porta potty on HIS LAWN
