wow, you sure hit paydirt on your special birthday Debbie..nothing like receiving the 'treasures' you ask for..you had such a beautiful camera with you Debbie while we were doing our roadtrip, is that the camera you broke...yikes, that wasn't good... I too am laughing at the pink flamingo's, hope you took pictures of them...lordy, he did a great job on the cake..you should hire him Carrie and Paul out...

Did the Dr. say how long Paul will be off after the operation?

Looked as though we were going to get a storm but seems to have passed us on...had hoped I'd be sleeping by now but NOT! Greg came in after work to give me the what for..lol..I didn't let them know where I was going, must do so in the future.. then Jeff called to chat..he made Fenelon Falls, lovely tourist based lock..wind had been at their back all day, did 25 kl. in record time so were going to enjoy the evening..said it rained all night but beautiful all day..things are now going well for them..both enjoying...

Then spoke to Cathy, then Darlene..got into the tub for a bath and off to bed, no go, Bernie and Charlene dropped in .. said he thought he'd better drop off the black wrought iron pieces he picked up for me, while he was at it, brought me another big panel that he welded for me last year..guess I forgot he had it..now comes what do I do with them...lol

It was too funny, when I got home I decided that the hypertufa containers could be taken out of their mold, just small ones, am testing different supplies in them..all are in one piece, that's good however, had Cathy doing a few, guess we got carried away, forgot to put the mixture either underneath or ontop of the mold...big hole in the middle...we were so laughing..guess that one is garbage...

Did a walk of the gardens..lots destroyed, not much I can do about it so I'll just mellow out..who knows, maybe in a few days they'll rise to sunshine...

Should go out and take a few photo's..think I will

Betty it has been a few days since we've heard from Tubby, I didn't come on much during the weekend at all. Yes, I keep my job, my co-worker who does the same job I do got laid off, her last day is July 30th. Dave feels his interview went very well, he hasn't been hired yet pending other interviews, but they did wait a week to interview him and he was the first, so that's good. He really wants this job, I really want him to have this job (cause my pay doesn't pay the bills,) and the building he would be working in hasn't been built yet, so keep your fingers and toes crossed, and/or anything else you have to cross (needles, paintbrushes, etc lol!)

Debbie I like the fake flamingos much better than the live one, the live ones tend to stink and the fake ones are too pink for me, but I absolutely LOVE that cake!!

SURPRISE!!! Hi Everyone!!

Well, sorry to say we are not on a road trip, Tubby is in the hospital again. He started bleeding from some place so they have been trying to find where. He has had a Upper GI and Colonoscopy and had a camera Endoscopy today. They put a camera the size of a large pill or I should say had him swollow it this moring and then this belt around his tummy and the belt recorded the inside of the small intestines and it went though to see if there is a bleed in there. It a long time to download the pictures so we won't know anything until tomorrow. That waiting can drive a person nuts. We were here a month ago for a bleed, but they found that right away and fixed it.
We are doing fine, just waiting to find out the results and see whats next. It has been cloudy and less humidity today. Would have been a good day to beenn pulling some of those hybrid weeds we have that have taken over everything. We will have to bail the yard it's so long. Worry about that later and just get him taken care of first.

Oh Tubby and Shirley!! I'm so sorry you're in the hospital...again! I'm so sorry you're going through this, hopefully they'll find this just as fast and get it fixed! I hate hearing that you guys. I'm glad that you're in good spirits, and can't wait to hear of Terry's return home.

Thanks Shirley for the update, we truly were getting all worried.. sure wish we lived closer as we'd all be over helping with the weeding...best we can do is pray that they find what the problem is and are able to put him back on the road of recovery soon...Shirley, warm hugs to you as we know how overwhelming the waiting game can be....
