Been crazy busy here, i think by tomorrow everything will be in order! Sat a big party going on, can't tell you about it because it's a surprise, LOL...But we were told to leave the house on Sat and when we get back there will be people here! So we are thinking it's the 25th Anniv, hope it's a beautiful day because i want to wear my pretty new sundress from Greece.

Even had peas in a meatloaf. Yep.. back in Singapore, a Canadian friend has kids that hate peas, and she mixed them in her meatloaf!!

My family's across the continent, and I was chatting with Zi who's in France (10a.m) and Juli (4p.m), who's in Singapore, both at the same time!

I love peas, too. That's why I planted them, but holy moly, there are a ton of those things and I'm the only one picking and the only one shelling. I did manage to do two things at once though...I sat on the swing by the pond and shelled them. That way I had pleasant surroundings and it made the time go faster. I ran out of Advil two days ago and my arthritis is saying go get some NOW! I depend on that a lot. Probably more than I should, but it does the trick and I don't seem to be getting any side effects so if it isn't broke........you know the old saying.....

Got up early having dreams about Tim Hortons doughnuts-LOL And I usually don't even like Tim Hortons!!LOL I have an appt with the OB this am, before which I am getting my doughnuts.

I am getting excited that in 2 weeks we will know if I am housing an Alexandra Evelyn or a Jonathan Gabriel. Neither Chris nor I can hardly wait.

Chris put the crib together yesterday, but he put it together wrong and doesn't want to listen to me when I tell him what's wrong even when I try to do it nicely. I can't do it myself, need another person so not sure how I am going to take it all apart and get it together correctly. He put the ends on wrong so the stickers that are supposed to be on the inside edges are showing and the graco symbol is on the inside....the whole thing has to come apart to fix it. Oh well, I am sure I'll think of something to get it right.

I am making a rag quilt for the baby and might just take my fabric along with me to get 2 matching fabrics from HL today after my appt. It is super cute with woodland sprites/fairies on it so it isn't too girly or too boyish...

Stacey. you must be getting so excited about having the baby! About 3 more months and it will be here.

Went to the OB. Everything went well. They gave me some trial size of new prenatal vitamins since the ones I have make me sick and if one works I am to call them and they will get it ordered through my pharmacy. The Dr. said the reason I don't really feel any movement so far is that the placenta is in the front and has not made the switch to the top or bottom yet. We were laughing because the baby was moving so much and flipping around that it took her a while to get the heartbeat.

Ahhhh.. that's why I had Alexandria in mind!! Sorry.. been to Alexandria, Egypt. Beautiful resort city.. great seafood!!

Good report there Stacey. Alexandra, you're gonna be one active little girl!

Yeah, the Dr. said probably about half of what I feel that I think is gas is actually the baby and I just don't realize it yet;)

Tink, I think we all did that with a first pregnancy. Love the choice of names for the twins. LOL

Quilt shops are different--you stop and "love" on the fabric as you go along thus energizing yourself for the next step. LOL Garden you don't stop and cuddle, stroke and love as some owners might get upset--just admire and ask questions for knowledge.

We just bought a new GMC Acadia. We got rebates and a nice discount and trade in on the truck. We pick it up Monday afternoon! It is dark brown. Love all the room it has inside. It can seat up to 8 people, and all the back seats fold down if you need the cargo room.
Too hot to sit out and watch the hummers, but hopefully this afternoon or early evening! Just so dang humid here.

Well my cousin went home ^_^ and I have been outside catching up on yard work.
Going to spend the day with Doug tomorrow. His motorcycle is leaking oil, thinks it needs a headgastic so he does not ride it far. Over the next few weeks we will not get to see much of each other. BUT as soon as mom is able to do things on her own I am out of here for a couple of weeks. Going spend the time with Doug may take a week long camping trip.

Head gaskets can be tricky to get on, or at least they are for me. Will he fix it himself or take it to a shop? Cindy I am so happy for you finding Doug, what an excellent man he has turned out to be! Does he have another vehicle he can drive until he gets his bike fixed?

LOL thanks for the correct spelling on gaskets duh!! brain fart ^_^ No Doug does not have another car. When he left KY he was going thru a divorce and his ex took everything she could get her hands on even took the $9000 out of his savings that he was saving to buy a Harley with. Yep she took him to the cleaners and she was the one that cheated on him. He came home from work early one day and saw his best friend's car parked at his house. But when he walked in the house they were no where around. He walked down the hall and heard them in their bedroom. Doug said he went out to the kitchen got a beer and went in the livingroom and waited. The guy came walking out first and said that he was there waiting for Doug's stepdaughter to get home. Then his wife walked out and just about s%&t green apples when she saw Doug. Asked how long he had been home and he said he'd been there about 20 minutes, lol. Guy left, Doug told his wife to pack her stuff and get out!!!!! Then the fight started......................

I think he is going to have someone else do the work beings he does not have all the right tools to work on it.

He packed what he could into one of those shipping things and hopped on his bike and left KY rode over 2400 miles thru rain, snow and very cold temps. Moved into his nana's house on Dec 30 (his b-day also). He left a lot of good stuff behind. Alot of tools etc. I told him that I have alot of tools and he is welcome to use them anytime he needs them. Who knows they may be his someday, if we do get married. I told him not for 3 or 4 years but I don't think we will wait that long, maybe a year at the most. He wants to get married now, but it's too soon we've only known each other 3 1/2 months.

My Husband and I have been married 22 years, we only dated about that long.

But with things the way they are right now I don't think it would be a good idea. He isn't working and is having a hard time finding a job so he has no money coming in at all. It is really getting him down too. But then on the other hand he has found out that he can't handle being on his feet all day either so he has filed for SSD but of course those things take forever. I think it will be at least Sept before he finds out if he will qualify. I think he will, he is not able to do the work he is used to doing. He hates not working either and loves doing concrete work but there are just no jobs for him and when they find about about his back they won't hire him. So I am ok with waiting a few more months. He said he will wait until I am ready.

Sorry I've been MIA..........kidneys have not functioning properly......... :-( Beginning to think it has been my problem for years,Dumb doctors ! I was even me that ask to have my urine checked,Dumb doctors,oh did I say that before........LOL

Missed the Ohio RU,I am so bummed out!!!!!!! Looks like everyone had a glorious time .And Annie said the food was to die for.......I'm so bummed !!!!! But there is always next year,right !
