I just woke up from a second nap today. This crud is sure kicking my butt! All I do is sleep, wake up for more meds, and go back to sleep!

Cindy, my son is an executive kitchen manager and he is on his feet day after day. He does not skimp on shoes, gets a really good pair that cost around $60 and have to be ordered on-line but last. I don't remember what kind but Fairy would (it's her husband).

They last about 6 mos which considering he wears them 5 days a week about 10 hrs a day isn't too bad at all...

I have been to the Dr, twice, and they say it is just a viral infection. All they gave me was a presrcription cough syrup. So I have been taking all kinds of over the counter meds to get this stuff dried up, and it seems to be finally working.

Another stray gave birth to 4 kitties behind the shop, and 3 were killed off one by one. So he brought the survivor home. He's jet black and the other cats we have are very overprotective of him. So that's good.
Gave him a bath and surprisingly, it didn't try to claw me. Once dried, I sprinkled talcum powder all over it, no.. not Miracle Grow... and you should see it sniffing the air!!

Well, well, well... let me share this piece of pleasant surprise with you all. One of those girly things and even at my age.. I can still chuckle over it.
One of my old old childhood sweethearts (there were 2) somehow tracked me down on FB. Don't know how he got my last name as it's been, good Lord.. 40 years?
He sent me this cute song by Tony Bennett, and let me tell you something.. it did my ego good!! LOL!!

It is neat when it hails a bunch and looks like snow. I remember in when I was a kid a hailstorm came through and it completely covered everything. Beins we were 9 years old we got our metal garbage cans out and dumped hail over each other, we had a blast!

LK-almost all puppies and kittens run sideways-If I remember from the vet correctly it has something to do with their brains and their balance....I may have that wrong, it may not be balance, but it is about connecting the brain and the other and the fact that that connection is trying to "work out the kinks". Sorry, my pregnancy brain is malfunctioning.

I am so excited to meet MMM. She was the first to invite me to join in with you all and befriended me. I was sad that she wasn't able to make it last year and can't wait to give her a hug this year!!!! YEAH MMM!!!!

Those shoes last and come in slip resistant, water proof and steel toe. Chris has to have all three for working. He also tried a pair of Dr. Scholl's boots which he said were fine, but either the water proofing or the slip resistant wore off...
