I'm always looking for new things to try.

Turned out great. Kids loved it.

Went out to lunch today with Mom...had a chicken salad....& oh, yes, a sundae, so nothing but a sandwich tonight.

Tried a Racheal Ray recipe wasn't crazy about it. It was beef tips with mushrooms over almond citrus rice and cold citrus green beans

Gee, that sounds really good...what didn't you like about it? Going out to lunch with a friend...that will be my meal for today....sandwich tonight.

Thought it would be tastier, it was just ok

Had a salad plate with curried chicken salad, red potato salad with evoo & coleslaw...excellent.

We go out for fish on Fridays, I am so tired of going out for fish.

I love fish, wish we had it more....very hard to find wild caught shrimp in the grocery stores, I will not buy farm raised anything

I know, wild caught is so much better and worth it. We went out but I got a grilled chicken salad, DH had fish. I get tired of going out, maybe just need to find some new places.

Tonight no supper or dinner. Bed is the desert and that means dreaming.

Went to son's & had grilled pizza.....it was OK, but a little strange.

I haven't tried one... but always wanted to... I like thin crunchy pizza... think I would like it... easy hard boiled egg dinner... but made a strawberry rhubarb pie... I needed something good

The grilled pizza was crunchy in some spots, too thick & doughy in others! Tonight, cold Mediterranean pasta salad with tomato & cuke salad.

Steak, cheeze, onion, g. peppes and shroom grinders served with a fresh pasta & veggie salad.

Yum....it was cool today so I made borcht.

marinated a porn loin in teriyaki.... sear each side for 10 mins each on the grill... move to indirect heat... stick in my BBQ thermometer.. cook to 160.... 1/2 way though cooking I put rum & coconut milk in a small pan and reduced... while the pork was resting I took pineapple rings and brushed them with coconut milk & sprinkled them with cane sugar... grilled them off until tender.... put the pork on a plate... pineapple rings on top and drizzle the sauce over the top.... OMG it was good... I am calling it pina colada pork

Gee that sounds good, Allison....I love grilled pineapple. Not doing much cooking lately, too hot, but I'm making a meal to bring with me to NH in a few days....BBQ chicken & orzo salad.

festival food last night, more of the same tonight. We're having our annual River Festival this weekend.

CT was changed to tomorrow because of weather concerns, but nothing will get me into Hartford.

Did a really good pesto sauce with chicken, carrots and parmesean angel hair last night.


Need ideas for summer finger foods(appetizers and desserts) ....nothing that needs to be hot or kept warm

Jen, this sounds weird, but at an art class, someone brought in slices of cucumber with a curl of fresh ginger on top.....very refreshing, & very easy!

hmmmm, interesting.

Mucho squash in the garden, so I made chilled curried zucchini soup for dinner.
