Will not have a stove until Monday, & still can't walk on the kitchen floor.....getting sick of eating out! Although, I did have a great Pad Thai from a restaurant in Pittsfield, MA....it used to belong to my SIL's cousin, & was worth the 20 min. detour. He's now the chef in a restaurant in Lennox.
What's for dinner? #7 BBQ Season
Robin.. If your getting from Thomaston to Pittsfield in 20 minutes then it sure must be good Thai!!
How is their chicken Kai Kaprow (sp)?? Some sticky rice and a little coconut chicken and veggie soup and I'm good to go. Of course I would order some Pad Thai as well..
I just wish that there was some leftover Thai in the fridge. I'ts1AM and I just got home from work AND I'm starving!!
LOL....I was coming from Pittsford, NY, & left the Thruway at W. Stockbridge, then went north to Pittsfield...the place is called Jae's Spice.....my SIL didn't know her cousin left there to go to an Italian restaurant in Lennox.....this is only the second time I've eaten there, a lot of the menu was devoted to sushi.....there is leftover Pad Thai in my fridge, but because my new floor was grouted yesterday, I cannot get to the microwave until tonight.
We had fair food all week. glad to be home.

Wow.....a week of fair food is more than enough! I do like the BBQ pork sandwiches they serve at the fair I enter, but could not face one every day.....course, I'm not cooking much at home either, with so many tomatoes I'm making a fresh tomato sauce with pasta tonight.
Depends on what fair, some fair foods are delish, at one local county fair all the local restaurants have booths, yum!!!!
Had steak last night. Ate at the school cafeteria when we dropped off DD today.
Pizza
Sausages on the grill
Grilled portobella on a hard roll, fresh white corn on the cob, purple Cherokee tomato & fresh basil salad.
Sounds great Robin!
Love sausage on the grill.
We're having steamed blue crab and fried fish tomorrow as a result of our vacation fun. LOL Ric
YUM!!!!
More marine bugs!
The more the merrier!!!
Victor, the clawless lobster in the Bahamas are often referred to as bugs, but they're pretty tasty too! Ric
Hee hee!
I'm cooking today....I haven't been....too hot....but I bought baby rib lamb chops for the grill with garlic & rosemary, roasted beets, & orzo salad.
Oh man, no claws??? the claws are the tastiest!!
I roasted the beets, & toasted the walnuts, added goat cheese & romaine, set it on the table to get the mail....return from mailbox to find an airedale in the middle of the bowl, most of the salad eaten.....had to start all over again, but I microwaved the beets before I roasted them....never got a lamb chop since son came for dinner & our store had no lamb....I had a pork chop. I'm going to kill that airedale.
oh my gosh, yep I would have killed him
Roasted baby red skin taters & roast chicken rubbed in a Lt. V. Olive Oil w/a rosemary-spices combo. Baked fresh butternut squash from the garden, a loaf of french bread and Triple Layer lemon Pie for dessert.

LOL...i'd like that Jen! Maybe someday.......
Ha! Try getting there before me, Jen!
Only if they let you out for good behavior...LOL like that will EVER happen
Mmmm, that sounds good, Pixie's got some good menus. (lol!)
I'll take Celeste's meals as a special delivery - even if they don't include a file!
How can you stay so slim with those great menus? Taint fair. I had a salad tonight, with the leftover pork....and tapioca pud.....
You guys are too much!! It's getting cool here and the urge to bake has hit full force now the wedding is over. Now, if I can just gain my weight back, all will be normal again. ^_^
I will be more than happy to give you the last 10lbs I need to lose.
Thank you, i'd be happy with that! LOL
Been thinking about doing some ribs, but DH always wants the same ones...I like variety!
Had marinated pork chops last night, dijon mustard & dill salmon the night before, rib eye steak before that so....meat loaf, speg. & meatballs, stuffed pepper, or ribs?
