Cant taste and cant smell. Cant do watercress - they squeek my teeth and shiver me, even when I could taste and smell. Still shiver to this day. Salad sounds good.

Sherrie, I love scalloped potatoes.....too lazy to make them! I went to a friend's house for lunch.....she served spinach quiche, salad, & fresh peach shortcake.

DH came home with fresh pizza dough, cheese, and a looks that said "PLEASE" LOL

Healthy! I have to admit I went out to lunch yesterday, ordered the turkey dinner, & had leftovers for dinner tonight....and enough turkey for lunch tomorrow!

more left over chili... making room for the new batch this friday

DH took me to AppleBees, no cooking tonight! Had ribeyes and french fries with broccoli slaw last night, and meatlaof the night before. I do believe those ribs will get cooked tomorrow :)

Took my Mom out for lunch & I had a roast beef sandwich......no cooking tonight!

Was too pooped to cook. Ordered out.

ravioli tonight... from my mom's town... home made ones!!!

the meat ones are my fav from that place... nothing like the frozen ones... they are tiny bite sized ones... and I cheat and buy the sauce they make

I made cheese ravioli once, without those little presses, it was a lot of work and I thought not worth it.

You could cheat, Deb, & use wonton wrappers! Son & the wrecking crew aka my grandkids, will be here tonight for dinner...making fresh brisket, garden carrots, roasted fingerling potatoes with brussel sprouts, sea salt & rosemary....kids get mac & cheese!

DH made chicken, rice medley and corn tonight.

I sent the remaining roast & veggies home with son....leftover mac & cheese for me tonight....

Well that was nice of you, I would have kept the roast and sent him home with the mac and cheese ☺

Tonight going to an Italian restaurant for my fil's b-day

I'm trying to do more meatless meals....hard, though....

Pasta and veggies is always good. And one of my faves - tomato sauce with garbanzo beans - yum! And very quick too. We also do Spanish rice with peas or beans or black-eyed peas.

sauce & garbanzos... sounds good to me... will have to give that a try

Remind me to post the easy recipe.

A pastrami on rye with mustard and dill pickles for breakfast. After reading this you probably will never come back to this thread again! Plus its getting longgg. :-)

Love Pastrami on rye! I've been known to go to The Carnegie Deli before seeing the opera at 'The Met', just to have one of their famous pastrami sandwiches and get a NY cheesecake for take home too!

My stepson cooked lobsters....I had a filet.....

I do like that harvest moon, have you ever tried pumpkin beer? Like that too.

Last night I discovered a tenderloin beef roast in the freezer I forgot about, so cooked it on the grill. Tonight I sliced up the leftovers, and am making a bread braid with the beef, mushrooms, swiss cheese, with sea salt and caraway seeds sprinkled on top. It's in the oven now, will see how it turns out.
