Yeah that's what my hubby said too, I ordered veal chops at a restaurant and he's like "I hate veal but let me taste it", he ended up eating 1/2 my dinner, besides stealing all my garlic mashed potatoes.

One of the things I like about being retired! However, I may sub in the late fall & winter to get out of the house....can't interfere with gardening time.

Yesterday was DD's party.
Today DH made chicken thighs in italian dressing, spinich and teriaki rice.

Pizza here, too. Jeff is off canoeing with his brother in PA. so ..... while the cat's away, mom and I will play. Will make a salad with lettuce from the deck. A friend is coming over. Hoping she will be able to take care of mom for a week in August.

I made poultry Italian sausage stuffed baby peppers, basmati rice, and from the garden sugar snap peas and carrots sauted in garlic n olive oil.

Paninis made with rosemary olive oil bread, chicken, and cheddar cheese. Salad.
Longhorn's, I had filet mignon and cedar grilled shrimp with garlic mashed potato's and a salad. Brian had the filet with broiled salmon, citrus rice(yum!) and a salad.
Decided on rotisserie chicken from the store & gingered asparagus, but everyone's meals sounded much better!

gingered asparagus sounds good, recipe?
Steam asparagus for 3 minutes...pat dry. Heat TBS. of olive oil till hot....add minced garlic clove, and chopped teaspoon of fresh ginger....add asparagus, cook for 1 minute, take off heat & add 1 tsp. grated lemon rind, and 1 tsp soy sauce. Also good cold the next day.
