It's 42 & drizzling here....a good day to go out to lunch & hit the nurseries with a friend. Sorry to hear you are both sick, Louise & Patti.....when the warm weather comes again, you'll perk up! Glad you're OK Jumper...have been near one very bad tornado in FL, & I still get weak thinking about it.

weather here is just overcast - just back from my power walk in the woods (nobody saw the pink 2lb weights) - was thinking about a nursury visit myself until diana from topiary called me back and now there is a big toyama nishiki in its way here next week - this replaces the 5 gallon one davidsans wife sold with my name on it a couple weeks ago - the one i am getting is a 7 gallon and 5' tall - should be interesting to see how a dissectum that large gets shipped.

That's something exciting to look forward to, Bill! Sounds like you made out better in the end! You must have a very large JM collection at this point?? I'm not very well versed on JMs, although I love them and have 2 now. What does it mean to be a dissectum - as opposed to other JMs?

Hee hee. He left out one tree from my order too - didn't charge. I said I would get it in the fall. Already spent lots of $$ on these. They're all huge. One of the 'dwarfs' is already the supposed mature size!

he left one out here too - it arrives this week with an unknown free tree included. most likely one of those he had on his promotion - we had gone back and forth on trees to replace the toya so it got kinda of confusing - still i should have caught it when he sent the invoice i just looked at the total due.

Nice sunny day fees good after the dark damp day yesterday. Not a lot of rain just dismal and grey. Today is lovely with a clear blue sky at present with a temp of 53 degrees and a light east wind. Chance of showers again tomorrow.

I can't believe you don't already have Cindy, Bill! Shame! She's a pretty tree, Louise, has the color I want, & grows to 12'. She's coming Mon. Weather here is still sunny, 61, but the wispy clouds have begun to gather.

great day - got the mulch spread with a bunch left over which will be used at some point this year - also planted a few perennials and a jm. still have 4 jm's hiding under the deck and two in transit - where to plant them?? actually 4 have homes and 2 will hang out until new yard construction is complete.

Boy did they get the weather wrong for today, am I'm glad!!!! turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Great day. Forecast was correct for here. Hit 40kWh on my solar!! Planted the final jm - Hippy Fin Mo. Yes, that is really the name! Also planted some of the Invincibelle hydrangeas and transplanted some ferns.

Started out chilly today, 45. Then it got warm and muggy. Had Tornado watches, better than warnings. Never was scared of T-storms til I moved out here.
