Sis Kathy, are you fattening up the gumbo guineas? I have won 2 clematis on eBay and one of them look like yours, the white with the purple center. The other is a double white. Much cheaper than getting from online gardening sites.

Sounds like I'm being mean... but that's what AA taught me when my ex went through the program. I was in ALANON for years and the first step it taught me was that spouses and family are not responsible for them turning to the bottles.

Looks like Cindy has 2010 planned for a bike tour!
That will be a nice extended vacation, seeing different places and be reunited with family.

I am in Bremerton Washington, and it is so beautiful here. I iwll be back home late Saturday night!

Jaye hes been clean no alcohol 6yrs 6 1/2 think for actual, but scared he will start in or sneaking. hes been dianosed prostate cancer so he can't handle things like that , but i'm not standing for his meaness either hatefulness ect.

Twyla, I'm so glad that the tornadoes stayed away from your area.. I was sure worried about all my friends back in OKC, but I've heard from most of them and everyone made it through ok. 5 people died in that area..so horrible!! I'm glad I'm not still living there, cause going through that without Glen there to keep me calmed down ..would NOT be a good thing!

I was watching the storms on The Weather Channel last night, they touched down just East of Newcastle and tore up Norman and Moore pretty good, hit a Love's gas station/truck stop on I-40 and hit a big grocery store too. I can't wait for this tornado season to be over! I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way either.

They're supposed to have more this afternoon too. My Goodness!!

Chris did you live in one of the hit areas? I know you were close to my mom and Riverwind Casino LOL I'll be going to Mom's the last weekend of the month so looks like we'll be seeing some damage.

LK give Trisha and Laura big big hugs!! I would love to meet them. Did you ever find a home for Squeaky?

Crissy, I was NE of OKC in one of the suburbs..most of the towns hit were everywhere but there from the sounds! I have some great friends who live in Newcastle, but they're ok. I hope to be going to see them in early August :) Maybe we can set something up to meet halfway or something :)

LK, I read up a bit on the town "B" and it says watch out for the many speed traps!

I always go see my mom in August, it's become my yearly trip! Let me know when you're going and I'll see what I can do! Newcastle wasn't hit at all, but Norman and Moore sure were! Seems Moore gets hit every time there's a storm. Someone who lives there actually told me that, she said, "If you move here Do NOT live here in Moore! You will be hit!" LOL that's pretty bad.

We saw lots of speedtraps today. My brothers uses the cruise control alot.
This state is so beautiful. We drove up the west side of the peugent sound today!. WOW!!! My allergies are going crazy, guess there are different pollens here! LOTS of them!

Yep, another Mexican feast tonight as Kel's parents want to return to the restaurant. We'll also have his ex-wife and step daughter join us.
I do get along very well with his ex'. Strangely enough, Kel and my ex get along famously too.

Crissy, Kel doesn't have any kids.
His ex always refer to her children as his step-daughters because he's better to them than their own father who had sexually molested them when they're young.
He had been divorced from his ex for more than 11 years now, but the girls always call him Stepdad.

You're right Crissy, children deserve all the happiness they can get from anyone good. N Kel's a good man.

Kudos to you both. It is so often you hear just the opposite with ex's that it is refreshing to see there are others who can make it work harmoniously.

well I got to go to work today, but then have the next two day off...gonna sew sew sew!!!

we went to the beach yesterday!! what a great day, so very nice to just do "nothing" with "my guys", DH and 2 of the sons!...at one point #2 son, came up to me and said "I am sure this was your idea, Thanks! I really needed a day off from the world!!" He made me feel so good!! Told him " I too needed a day off from the world, so glad you shared it with me"

that is a cruise ship way out there, we watched it go out....
