Might be the one I have. Thanks.
What have you ordered 2010 #7
I broke down and did a Bluestone order. Euphorbia, Lavandula, Buddleia, several Clematis, several Ilex, Achillea, Cornus, Anchusa, Brunnera, Campanula, Eryngium, Eupatorium, several Heuchera, Penstemon and Ruegen
I also went to a local farm to see what they had for perennials, annuals, veggies. We got most excited about a Lime Thyme we found. It smells exactly like a lime. I can't wait to try it in the kitchen. I picked up a few other herbs, some annuals for containers and a couple of perennials. This place sells very few things in 6 packs which annoys me. They use to grow so much, but now it is just trucked in and displayed. I am going to another grower tomorrow for the last of the annuals and to see if she has anything special. I just didn't get our annuals and veggies started this year from seed. March was a crazy month.
Many of the containers are now done, but, I too, still have to plant my caladiums, canna and calla lilies and do more direct sown veggie seeds. I have a rose that I just planted that is screaming to be moved, so I will need to get a replacement for that hole.
The list goes on. Patti

you are a marvel!
I second that.
You go girl!
Thanks all for the encouragement to buy more plants. I got most of the new stuff that we got yesterday planted, but one plant that I bought for a specific place was so wrong for the spot that I had to laugh. It was orange and red for a place full of hot pink and purple. Now I need to find a new plant or dig something up and fill in the hole. Patti
Ha ha! Like you needed encouragement!
Patti you amaze me!
I'd love some Lime Thyme....I had grapefruit mint a few years ago, which I also loved, but it died out, as well as my chocolate mint. Can't seem to find either, but going to a large nursery tomorrow, so maybe....what clems did you get Patti?
Robindog, I ordered Clematis Huldine, Lemon Chiffon, Vyvyan Pennell.
I have a lot of mints, but not grapefruit or chocolate(now). I potted them up in heavy large nursery tree containers and put them out by the veggie bed, so they don't overrun the gardens. They seem to winter over just fine in their big black prisons. Life sentence, no parole for them. I do love mints. A favorite summer salad is a cold wild rice salad made with oranges, fresh mint, golden raisins and some nuts dressed with an orange mint dressing. I like it with grilled shrimp or any fish. I love iced mint and ginger tea in the summer too with a touch of honey. I will have to look for the grapefruit mint too. I have had the chocolate, but it didn't thrive. Patti
Patti, what was orange and red? Today I planted an orange achillea next to the driveway in a spot that USED to need to be kept clear for the gas meter guy. Now it's all computerized and we can plant stuff there. Mwah ha ha ha.
Thanks, Patti.....Huldine has been on my list....I bought another ironwork trellis today, so I have room for another clem. That salad sounds yummy!
Just got the Bluestone order. Have to check it right away. I'm sure they're parched.
Me too.
my order will be here shortly... poor cooking babies
Just propped open the cover. The hostas look great. Have to take my son to swimming soon so I can't water them yet.
mine just came... all unpacked & watered... looking like bluestone plants.. but I am happy
this was Randy's pick over the weekend... HD had it on sale for $15.00

Nice choice Randy!!! I got one last year. loved it so much I bought one for DD ^_^
pretty big shrub for that price too... the birds might love me again!!!
Same with me with the geisha girl.
Robin, I had some chocolate mint from GroMoore last year. I had it in a container, didn't know it might overwinter. I never used it for anything, but it did smell good.
i have giesha i like it a lot.
Just bought

http://www.gardencrossings.com/plantname/Heuchera-Marmalade
I needed one more marmalade to balance out my new expanded garden, seems everyone is sold out of it. I had purchased the last one at the Rutgers plant sale, I didn't think it would be so hard to find another one.
The hibiscus has been on my wish list for awhile, dog helped me pick a spot he dug up all the heath that was planted there. He must have known I didn't like that stuff.
nice Jen!!
That Hibiscus is a WOW
Luvly flowerjen. I am planning on some more heucheras along a path. Just giving the mini hostas that I put in last year a bit of time to get established before I ruffle them with heucheras. Also need to beat back the LOV (which is very stinky right now BTW)
Unpacked and watered the Bluestone order. They were all in very good shape - unlike some of my previous orders with them (at least four or five years ago). But those dang peanuts!! I think I will tell them I have a packing peanut allergy if I order again.
tee ee
I just worked out a peanut removal system for small orders.I shake most of the top off and pull the plants out, then dump the peanuts into a drawstring bak and out they go. I have even used them in the bottoms of large planters.
Like the hibiscus too. Nice when you are forced to buy a new plant isn't it. ^_^ Nice doggy.
I know those darned peanuts but the important thing is nice healthy plants. Specially when the price is right.
This thread is getting long I will start a new one.
