"asplaying" is from the Wha Dictionary. "Garen" is another word from that dictionary (tee, hee)

Miles
Can't wait to see it Miles.
That's a lot of good stuff you got.
Wow - big list! Miles to go before you sleep!
Thanks, I've also been forbidden to buy new roses due to the beetle nightmare we had last year (if the nematodes we put down work this year it might be lifted). So I move a Peace, Just Joey, Iceberg and unnamed J&P test rose to the bed...
Miles
good luck miles!!
i am a FIRM believer that the end result of communication is to get your meaning across - i think that everyone understands what i am saying - spelling and grammar mistakes and all.
dnut thanks for letting me have my own language like you:)
vertical is horizontal side ways victor!
Miles I'm eying that exact anchusa myself. I need a Bluestone code for the stuff that isn't on sale.
Miles, I did the same thing to my Powis Castle. (sigh)
Oh my Miles isn't that going to be a lovely spot to sit and admire all those wonderful plants. Don't forget more pics when they grow up. Great work!
Miles, try to find rose Carefree Celebration....no beetle damage. It has dark leaves, apricot flowers that bloom into Nov., & a nice fragrance.
Carefree celebration...is that a buck rose? I'll keep that in mind....

nice spot Miles!!
Nice list Miles1
I have Heuc.PlumPudding and its a love.I HAD coriopsis Sweet Dreams and was disapointed in it for me here. I thought the flowers were too small and thinly spread out on the plant. It didnt come back this year.
I do have a coriopsis that is a fantastic plant.Sienna Sunset.Great color with purples and blues plus the plant shape is compact and quite wonderful.
Here it is with Royal Purple sedum
I almost bought sweet dreams... but didn't... the Sienna is very nice!!!
Brent and Becky's is having a 50% off sale...I ordered 25 'Moonlight' caladiums...http://www.brentandbeckysbulbs.com/summer/productview/?sku=60-41 These guys should really pop in the shade. I got one Stuttgart Canna, wanted more but read they are real finicky so am only trying one.
Seems from all of you I need to check out Bluestone!
Ronnie I was trying not to look at B&B... so thanks.. and you need a space after your ... and your link http://www.brentandbeckysbulbs.com/summer/productview/?sku=60-41
I bought lilies,Black Beauty to replace the ones that didnt come up. And Alyari to replace Angela North, a total no-show.
GE good to know about the plum pudding, I've wanted that for a while...as for the sweet dreams...hopefully mine will do better...it is a white garden...of course the whole front of my "white" garden is dark blue and yellow pansies I planted to fill in about three years ago...They keep reseeding and are so happy I don't have the hear to pull them out...so it is my semi-white garden....sunset coreopsis is gorgeous, I did see that at Bluestone....I'll try that next year....
I got some caladiums at Ocean State Job Lot (I know, I know)...started them inside...doing great...was going to pot them with some Elephant ears in a big urn I have...
I wasnt impressed with Sunset at first but by tyhe end of summer I had to eat my words.
Oh my all these half price sales are dangerous but good for picking up a few needed things at reasonable prices. You all are doing very well in your selections.
Oops thanks Allison!
I bought 9 tomatoes at WFF Tomatomania....Black Cherry plus 8 heirlooms such as Cherokee Purple , Gold Medal Yellow, Fireworks, Watermelon Beefsteak to my fav name, Orange Fleshed Purple Smudge...can't wait to taste that one!
The Hamilton post office has white pansies with dark purple 'faces' in a planter. Very effective.
You are lucky Marilyn.
I had to steal some land in DD's garden to plant 2 Brandywines.
Oh Miles, I have TONS of Moonbeam, I could have sent you some. That sedum looks nice but I didn't see it until after my order was processed. :( I know just where I'd put it, too.
Carrie...thanks for the offer! Maybe next time. I actually have bunch of moonbeam too, but alerady divided a bunch of parts off it...so thought I'd buy a few fresh ones. I just did a walk around the Boston South End today and saw some of those white petunias with the purble faces...the are nice....
I made the mistake of looking at Bluestone's sale but haven't bought anything, it's tough!
I am trying not to add to my order.
