Wow - great color!
Hard to believe, WC. You should be milder than me.
Remember than L.I. is surrounded by water, hence the milder climate.
I know, but he's saying it seems that I am milder.
Yes, you guys are warmer in the summer & we are slightly cooler, and vice-versa in the winter by a few degrees, the most dramatic factor being the relative humidity, which is much less here during the summer. - I see the difference when I visit my in-laws in Yonkers. The soil is warmer up there now than it is here.
( BTW: I took the shot in RAW format) hee hee!
You dog!
Wow great flowers! Love that azalea.
Thinking about dwarf spruce or fir now. There is a good place for bushes nearby. I'll have to stop by there sometime soon. Patti bought bushes there with me....
WC I bought an azalea like that a few years ago.. it wasn't hardy here.. and didn't make it in the house
:(
EEEK! (lol)
What is it called, WC?
Nice tetes!
love the yellow Jen
Should I be seeing Muscari foliage yet?
I have it.
me too
Nuts...looks kinda like daylily foliage??? You know how crazy I am with my plans and maps??? It's not on my map in my blue and yellow garden, I don't remember planting it....weird. Now I have to go research my order.
Illegal alien??
They stole it???
The plant!
I don't know it's a NOID, they sold it in those foil covered pots for Easter, but I'm going to cover it like they cover fig trees for this coming winter! lol!
... yes we have muscari here, all the little frail little ones before the other stuff comes in...
Hyacynths and early tulips are still at least 2-3 weeks down the line, my tulips are in full sun too!
all of mine are just poking up now.. thinking they won't be out for Easter this year
It's been a weird winter, some places that usually don't get hit so hard, got hit a lot harder than others up North.
Pretty squill.
the old owner planted it... was a nice surprise
I've got those squill, should start blooming by the end of next week, one of the first bulbs I planted, very dependable.
