IrisMa, I agree about Natasha. She was not very happy in the spot I planted her in back in 2006 and has dwindled, so I ordered more for a different spot last fall. She has not appeared yet.

Victor, Wha is right about the date of July 1st for discount. But I plan on buying everything good, so you best get a jump on it. Nice neighbor's daff.

Here are some from today. First tulip is out, Tulipa kaufmanniana Early Harvest. It didn't bloom last year until April 4th. Patti

Thanks, Bill and Patti. I assume they don't charge the cc until shipping??

Pretty Patti, so nice to see all that color!!
Victor, I love the shot of the daffs all in a row. ^_^

My friend is back! Yipee! ☺!!

He doesn't do much damage, a nip here and there, sorta tasting everything in the buffet, but not sitting down for a full course. I do have to add cayenne around the roses when they first put out leaves, (he has a particular fondness for red juicy new leaves), but after that 1st month he leaves it alone and hangs out now and then in our backyard, taking sunbaths! lol!

First sighting since last year, - just in time for Easter! lol!!

Cute, WC!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice blooms Victor & Patti.. WC just hope your bunny isn't like mine.. LOL

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Bunny is cute, but they do multiply like rabbits. We are buying more rabbit fencing to put along the bottom of the deer fence as they (a giant herd) eat through it daily! We need 500 more feet. Not cheap. Patti

I was looking out the dining room window down at one garden that could use some color besides shades of yellow and was picturing where I can tuck in some RIs and crocus ( es, i) -what is the plural for crocus?

Lots of crocus blooms out there now. Will try to get a shot the next time the sun makes an appearance. Also have hellebore buds and yellow buds on the early forsythia bush. The choke cherries are budding up with spring green leaves already. I think they are early even for them. The cooler temps returning should slow things down a little but spring is surely here and moving along nicely.
I have been trying to sneak out a few minutes here and there to get the edging done and it is three fourths done front and back. Now if the beds could dry out more cleaning up can get done.

Thanks, Celeste.

Beautiful bark on that Sango Kaku, will definitely be on the lookout for one in my HD!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

wc it has a reputation as a "sensitive" tree - many do not make through the winter - there are many others with the red or coral bark like beni kawa that are hardier - having said that i have two and both are winners - and the one shown is in a very unprotected area that gets a lot of winter winds - the boxwoods next to it usually end up with wind burn - not this year though.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Beni kawa is brighter too.
