We're back up ! (?) - system issues here, please

I join KyWoods in saying Thanks for handling the massive data migration
in such an efficient way and for your prompt responses to the issues.

Many folks don't realize what a huge undertaking this is and hopefully we
will continue to be a little patient with slowness and with getting fixes in
place.

At the moment things seem to be moving a little quicker.

Cameras & Photography seems to be working normally now.
The support team has done an absolutely awesome job with this!!

Been away most of the day. Seems to be working a bit better now. I just wonder about that issue of not being able to right-click on links while a picture is being sent. It's not a major problem as long as I remember to open two windows to start with. But if I'm uploading a bunch of pics I like to work off two windows and I often open the second one while the first image is uploading.

I still had issues loading pics even after reducing their size. Never had a problem with larger size photo's before, hope that isn't going to continue to be an issue...and I do use .jpg's not .gif's so that's not the issue.

Still seems quite slow to me. Hopefully all will be resolved soon!

this is what happens when you try to fix something that's not broke.....

Well, when you move from one house to another - you don't necessarily do it because something is broken in the house. Sometimes you just need to move, or sometimes simply because you want to move.

And like moving your possessions from one place to another, it's a process that is bound to turn up some things that need your attention - things you didn't realize had a small crack or were acting a little funny, but weren't screaming for attention up to now ;o)

it takes a few minutes for me to get on. when i click on my link to Daves it like in my favorites just takes time to load to homepage

New problem, started yesterday. When I click on a thread, it takes me to the bottom - the very end - not where I left off so I can see 'unread' messages. And still s - l - o - w.

Yes--I'm having that problem also, but not every time.

I was having the problem of the system taking me to he end of the thread but today I am not having a problem. It is faster today and that is good.

OK, it works sometimes and sometimes not today. Getting anything to connect on a click is next to impossible. I'll come back later - way later.

Just now i was trying to respond to the last Post in the below Thread (see link) . I was typing a reply, and it froze in mid sentence and I could not do anything to revive it. The little hourglass was everywhere. My firewall icon was working away.....
I tried the C-Alt. Delete twice. The second time I clicked on "end task".
Tried to re-open DG from my desk top icon--NO! Hourglass still there.
Tried to go to "Start" to restart my computer--NOPE!
Finally, pushed the BIG button and shut it all down and then restarted my computer. So far--so good. Now i will hit "send" and hope it works...

I have, mostly, experienced the slowness when I click on "home" to get to all my watched Threads. Many, many times....

It does seem the Home page is very slow to load - that's a common problem, and I'll let the guys know that is an issue.

Yeah, it's slow to load when coming into the site, as well as from within a thread or forum. R E A L L Y S L O W !

Yep..when it takes so long to load I just give up and go on to other web sites or do things I should be doing instead of surfing the web.

Me to, Debbie. It is getting to be too hard to navigate this site and I end up leaving too.

My computer is so slow anyway, I'm used to it. I've gotten really good at solitaire...LOL

Not having a fun time here today...I keep leaving after waiting too long for pages to load!! I don't ever remember in 9 yrs. of it being this bad!!

For the last four days, I have had the same pictures/articles on the opening page when I click on davesgarden.com. Is this suppose to be this way now?

Hmmm...slow load again today....have tried several times to enjoy the garden today.... will check the garden later.....

It's been running pretty fast for me tonight. It hasn't moved this fast in I don't know how long.

Sometimes it's really fast, other times it is so slow loading I leave and go elsewhere because I get tired of waiting. :~{

It has been painfully slow for me all day today. I've canceled things several times. Deciding I don't want the info that bad.

As soon as I posted I had a few slow downs. Then it would speed up again. So it's back and forth for me.
