Okay, it appears we are back up. however, it looks like we're missing a few threads and the time stamp is off.
Please use this thread to post any issues you find. Let's focus on issues that did not exist yesterday as we want to limit ourselves to those things that the migration may have introduced.
Also, please be as specific as possible - what were you doing, what happened, what did you expect to happen and provide links where appropriate.
So far, the known issues include:
- Time stamp issue (PST vs. UTC)
- Thread watcher not working (not showing up on home page)
- Forum watcher not working (not reflecting on home page)
- Posts to existing threads not showing up (or showing up sporadically)
- Timeouts/page loading errors (specifically on attempts to subscribe)
- Birthdays not updating
- Some threads showing as having new posts, such as this one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1055031/ (may still be time stamp issue.)
- Birdfiles not navigating properly. From here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/birdfiles/adv_search.php?searcher[common]=&searcher[birdorder]=Anseriformes&searcher[family]=&searcher[genus]=&searcher[species]=&Search=Search clicking on any of the individual pages results in a 404 error. PlantFiles and BugFiles seem to work okay.
We'll edit this post to help keep track of all the issues identified and which ones have been fixed.
Again, thanks for your patience with this.
We're back up ! (?) - system issues here, please
My posts won't go through on this thread in the Bird Watching forum even though it says it has been posted.

When I click on the "latest threads" on my home page they take me to the list of forums page.

The Thread Watcher is not updating after I check the thread.
Another thread, same problem: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1079136/
right now it seems we are experiencing a problem with new posts to existing threads. I've reported that to the tech team. Also, I think the thread watcher is going to be wonky until we get that (and the time stamp issue) worked out.
and everything is soooooo slow!!
The "forum watcher" isn't updating either...or clearing.
Things are running a bit faster now. (this is a test to see if my watched threads work)
I have added an answer to a post on the " Starship Enterprise" thread in the Iris Forum and noticed that my post is shown ahead of the post that I was answering. It appears the date on the post I was answering is in error. It is shown as 8:40pm on March 4. That time has not arrived yet, as my post was added at 4:50pm on March 4. I've noticed other threads in the Iris Forum also seem to have the last entry with times shown that have not occurred yet.

I posted on "Coffee and..." in the Parking Lot. My new post ended up in the middle of the morning posts! LOL
It kind of threw me, for a moment. My last post was properly time stamped, but (as you stated), the rest of time stamps are "off".

Please know I'm not complaining-just FYI ing. *grin*

I just posted something in the Northeast Gardening: Garden Projects Two - 2010 and it not there But it say's when I go to Viewing my post it shows up there. Northeast Gardening Garden Projects Two - 2010 Mar 4, 2010 6:23 PM

I got the same problem as dd95172, my reply showed up above the post I was replying to in Parking Lot and Prayer forums. And yeah, the time stamp is hours late, lol.
Edit: Forgot to add, my thread watcher keeps saying there's a new post when there isn't.

Thanks for these reports - I think once we get the time stamp issue worked out, these specific bugs will fix themselves.
I am getting the same threads listed over and over as new when they have both been looked at.
There are 2 updated threads in your Thread Watcher!

I've had a helpdesk report of the page not loading for someone wanting to purchase a subscription. It may be related to the rest of the thread loading issues.
I am new here today. I would like to do a test drive with the 2 month trial subscription.
I clicked on pay by credit card - but after several minutes and several attempts - the page did not load.
It's minor, but the "Birthdays" have not been updated for today. (It's something I enjoy.)
Thanks
Hap
Progress...my thread watcher worked this time. Anybody else still reporting thread watcher issues?

Patti and Victor, can you send me links to the threads in question?
It was missing before the one o'clock shut down as I had to scroll down to the bottom to see the new posts, and was the same until just a few min. ago, but it is now back. Cross posted. Patti
Gardens.com is still off line but the forums are working from the DG side.

Hope this helps, Minor issues so far, or so it seems to me. Patti
I have a d-mail showing up in my inbox that I sent to someone else. It is showing as if there has been a reply to my initial 2 part d-mail, if there has been a reply it is not showing up. The d-mail also still shows as "new" even after I open it.
Parking Lot: Pull Up A Chair LXI (#61)

After reading the latest post the thread does not then show as "read" in my watched threads list.
WHERE'S DAVE?
Sorry - I think I skipped a few updates.

that may be a time stamp issue as well. Is anyone else experiencing a problem with dmail alerts?

I just tried reading this one, then putting it on my thread-watcher and re-entering the forum; it seems to be acting okay - can you try it again?

Thanks - I reported this one above ;o)
The others are most likely still related to the time stamp problem.
