Allison we are having the same kind of weather here. It is awful and has been all day. That little bit of snow that was left this morning never had a chance to melt. It blew away instead. :))

It's rained off and on here since Wednesday and is pouring down again. Yesterday's was pretty much non-stop and several neighborhoods and roads near us are flooded. Thank goodness we live on a rise, but I feel so sorry for anyone's homes or gardens that aren't elevated. Between the rains, and melting snow, and our saturated ground nobody stands a chance if they don't live on a hill. March has a mind of its own and must think it's already April.

I have snow to share now. Whomever wants it can come get it.

What a beautiful baby. Our new grandson is 4 months old, weighs 13.7 pounds, 25 inches long and no hair. Maybe finally the fat gene did not get passed on. LOL....

I'll bet he's a cutie. ^_^

This is my girl, Crystal. She'll be having my first grandbaby in May. (If she makes that far.)

She looks great. No problem for May except for her. Good Luck Grandma. We now have 11 and they are all special gifts from heaven.

Hi Venice,
I'm at my BF's near the Wisconsin/Michigan boarder and actually, there is no snow by his mail box. It happens to be on the east side and gets all the morning sun.

This is one of the patches that we have here and I'm willing to bet this will be gone later today or tomorrow. As you can see, the sun just started hitting it on this picture.

And this is the only other patch of snow that there is on his acre of land. This also was in shade, so I'm sure it won't take long for it to be gone.

Chickens are out, enjoying the weather ^_^

And my plants are waking up from their winters nap.
We have been at 57 degrees most of the day today.

I think I need to go tell them they need to sleep a little bit longer!

My Tulips & Hyacinths are also coming alive out there .

Good Morning everyone well Good News The Mommy Kitty Had 3 more Kittens saturday 2 did not make it
but there was one still doing very well so I removed the ones that did not make it left the one & yesterday afternoon
I took the kitty i had Back over to Mommy & they were all doing good when i checked on them at 8 pm ,
will go back over this morning to check on them . & give you an up-date but looking better :)

Well that is interesting.
I have had many cats in my life, including mother cats that had batches of kittens. But I have never heard of them having them 2 days apart. Ours were all born on the same day all the time.

On the weather today, they said we are 5 weeks ahead of what our weather should be. We may reach into the 60's today.
I may have to go start cleaning out my flower beds here.

Hey Kassy. According to what I have been able to discover, cats in estrus may actually be impregnated by more than one male and have a few days difference in delivery....Thank goodness that doesn't work for humans....grin

Uh...it can happen with humans, if more than one egg is present. Fraternal twins occur when two eggs are present and both are fertilized separately.

Yes Both kittys were feeding when I left them yesterday . all I Know is Thursday morning carolyn called me to say she heard the sound of kittens so i went over & Found 2 babies under her dresser with the mommy , I had taken a box up with me to make a bed for the mommy & Kitties , one had already died & So I put mommy & baby in the box ,went to town bought some better cat food for her mommy kitty & when i got back , she was not caring for the kitten.

i thought it looked & Felt like she had more in her. but not being a vet I was not sure on friday morning I went back
there was still just the one kitten but it was so cold about dead so I brought it home To care for it.
went back saturday just to clean her litter box & Mommy was in the box all alone .

I came home to tend to the one i was caring for sunday carolyn called me to say she hears a kitten . sure thing I went back over & there was 3 more but 2 had died .

so my point is I guess they can have kitten 2 days apart I have not been over there yet tonight to check on them
but figure mommies milk would be best for him .

I will be going over there soon so you all have a great evening .

Glad the snow is gone and you don't have to wait until the date I predicted. Spring is coming and gloom of winter is gone.

Are you sure there is no snow left I have March 128, my mother's birthday and I know there is snow there somewhere. My mother would never let me down. Love you all. Kitty story is really scary but beautiful. God knew where to send that cat and her babies. Next door to a DG Angel. .
