Deejay, does your African grey Congo speak? The next time you go over and feed the little kitty, take your camera. We really would like to see mamma and her little ones.

Marilyn Glen st. Mar, FL(Zone 9a)

Venice, my son lives with me, but he's been working out of town a lot lately. He's at Ft. Rucker this week, and probably next week. Soon he's going to Texas. He works for a fire alarm company and he programs the systems.
They are upgrading the fire alarm systems in a hotel on the base, and a lot goes into changing out an old system and putting in a new one, especially when the company didn't install the old one, and the blueprints aren't always right. {wink}

Love the stories and the pics of the animals. We have three dogs. Mine is Nikki the dobie, Marcus and I 'share' the boston terrier, she is nearly 20 and totally deaf, and nearly blind, but she's the boss, her name is Keisha, and then there is Dale's dog, Bo, he is a spoiled thing also!

Today WILL be the day for the snow melt. I procrastinated and missed the deadline, but the 12th of March was the date I had decided on, it's youngest son's birthday and three of my friends' birthday, so would be a good day for a snow melt~ :)

you all have a great day, need to get out of here and get to the post office before more rain comes in.

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Susie that little guy is lucky to have you. You are a good person.

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Raining but the pile isn't going down much. I'll keep an eye on it.

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

(psst, Nita...hide those pretty Sun sculptures from Faye.) LOL Susan, must not tell everything you know...Just ignore her Nita, I have room for many more.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

It looks like I was going to give you at least another month of that snow. I'm glad that you can now see spring coming.

Hee Hee Faye. I wondered if you saw that.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

LOL, you two are funny. There's still tons of snow scooped up in parking lots around here. I could send you some more and maybe make it til April 16?

(Zone 7a)

I think you meant April 15th...heh heh heh

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Bet you've still got some you could share too...huh?

(Zone 7a)

Actually, mine has been gone for weeks. Very unusual for us.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Well shoot, I thought we could keep this going til April. Ours is gone too, even the thick patches down in the woods.

(Zone 7a)

My DD north of us still has snow. LOL

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Looking like it won't quite be gone today. Still some of "that" pile out by the garage.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Be sure you look everywhere. How is the north side of your house?

That poor baby kitty. Do you have something fuzzy to put beside him? Do you have to stimulate him like his mamma would?

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Awww, the poor little thing. I hope he makes it.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

OK, that snow has to be gone soon, because ours is almost gone here. And that is really strange.
I was going to take a picture today, but it was to foggy. Will try to get one tomorrow.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Well folks I think it is official. The snow will be gone in about an hour. There is a tiny patch about 2 inches around and it is raining like heck. So we do have a winner. Betty came closest by picking yesterday. I'll let her know by Dmail. We can keep this thread open for a couple of days if you want, or I can close it and we can start another thread for news on kitty and all Susies feathered kin. Let me know.

Thank you all for playing along. It was fun to have this to look forward to when I was up to my butt in snow.

Juanita

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Susie, it would seem that everyone here enjoys your adventures in the day to day with your critters...daily posts aren't necessary....we seem to be able to take up the slack quite well.

Congrats to Betty, since no one chose the 13th or 14th.
